East Village Restaurant Nudibranch Ditches Its Tasting Menu for Drinking Snacks | Eater NY

"A decades-old Cuban restaurant on Junction Boulevard in Sunnyside, Rincón Criollo has been open since 1976, originally run by brothers Jesus Rene and Rodobaldo Acosta; long celebrated by critics (Eater called it “the best Cuban restaurant in town”), it was slated to close at the end of August but now has a new last day of September 21 and is open for two more weeks." - Luke Fortney

I realllllyyyy wanted alcapurrrias. Being raised on the island my expectations were low because I knew not to hope too high. But thissssss. This was barely an effort. 2 dollars a piece the yuck was harrd!! No flavor and tiny! Atleast be bad but the correct size. The alcapurrias de guineo had more flavor but the greaseseee was insane.

Are you nuts, the best Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 restaurant in Paterson. They have been there for many, many years. It's a family owned. They are so lovely n respectful to everyone. If you haven't ever been you have to go and try for yourself. On holidays like Christmas and New Years the pasteles are freshly made the are bomb delicious 😋.

I thought the food was going to be great. Sorry to say it was not. The corn beef looked like soup and it tested bad. The pork chop was hard and old. For it to be my first time there it was a shock. I remember my mom's corn beef with fried French fries in the thick juice corn beef that's what i was expecting please correct the problem for next new customer

Yelp
Home cooking at its best. Family run business done right. Empanadas are one of my favorites. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Spanish cooking. Liz is very pleasant with the customers.
