The employees behind the counter always greet you. They are attentive to what is ordered. The food is good. Tonight I had a Cuban Sandwich and Sweet Plantains.

Avoid getting takeout or delivery from here! I ordered oxtail stew with platanos and arroz con gandules as “sides”… turns out my takeout container was 75% full of sides and had maybe 2 oxtail pieces in it? The oxtail was dry, there was hardly any “stew” to it and had not been cooked long enough for that “fall off the bone” experience you want with oxtail. I ended up throwing it out. Maybe their servings and service are a better value when dining in, but beware.

Food was really good. Staff was rude and acted like it was a bother if you asked for anything. I asked for some extra napkins and the girl pointed to the wall and said "In there".... Also the music is so loud you can't hear the person you're with talking to you. Another table asked them to turn down the music and they did after about 5 minutes and then it was still too loud. Like I said, the food is decent but the rest needs a lot of improvement.

The food quality/taste is poor 😒 I bet I would've been happier with Wendy's. Bummer. The mofongo is bad enough to throw away. Not worth eating. The sandwich is dry as f and missing relish n mustard. 😒 Not eating at all is preferable to getting a bad meal. This was made so lazily and not by someone who has the right intentions. Low standards.

The shortcut ribs they only gave me two and a half of and to tuff to chew it's like gum. We have been going there for 6 yrs No more too many other great Spanish places to go to that are much better. Just because they give so much dryed rice and over salty beans . Not a reason for me to go 1 out of 10 sad the owner is a nice guy i don't think he is staying on top of his help, i just came back to my review 15 mins after eating only half of it. I got sick from the food. My bad for eating cool meat not hot like it should be. I will call the health department tomorrow

I wasn't particularly impressed with Rincon. After reading reviews from only a few weeks ago, it seems that the price for a meat dish and two sides has already gone up to over $12. This was my first visit and I found that the steak was overcooked and chewy, and the shredded pork was dry and flavorless. Positive: It seems that this business is responsive to feedback, as their portions have visibly increased.

I love Spanish food and their food Every time I went there was fresh and it’s good and it’s convenient just down the road from me. I have no complaints.,

When I am feeling down and need some comfort food this place rocks!! I love the Pernil with pigeon peas in the rice, along with their sweet plantains, which are absolutely to die fo. The portions they give you are amazing for the cost that I wind up getting two servings out of it. If you've never been there you need to order, you won't be disappointed.

There's nothing wrong with this place. I must say that so far it's the best low cost Spanish eatery place in Deland Fl. I'll be there tomorrow again and bring a friend from NJ. He will be impressed

Finally gave this restaurant a try after seeing it on DoorDash for months. It was a bit expensive but the taste made it worth the price, and definitely worth trying at least once. I didnt have any problems with my food order through DoorDash. Very good service.

Hits the SPOT! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, ample seating and very affordable meal combos. A meat with 2 sides and a drink of choice just under $10. Very flavorful and they have a wide variety of spanish foods to choose from. The chicken & the rice wasn't dry, everything was delicious. & the sweet plantains were cooked perfectly! Will be coming again.

You know, they were great about 10 mos ago when they catered a dinner for us. But today's dinner i bought was completely the opposite. I don't know what's happened but it was not good. The pork was very dry & I got there at 12 noon or a little earlier. The meat was like long stiff piece of meat. The empanada was tasteless. I'm afraid I've gone from a 5 star review 10 months ago to a 2 star review. Did the restaurant change chefs? Whats going on? I may have to keep going to Mt. Dora for my Spanish food.

This place is hard to find. Tucked in corner at a strip mall. Very unnecessarily dark. Food is ok If you order something like the Relleno de papa and they have to make it. It may not be hot inside of the potato ball. When it's hot it tastes great. Pricy tho. And the chicken empanada is mostly air. The Parcha is good but expensive

This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This is one of the best service I've ever had in my life. When I arrived for my pick up order I seen that it wasn't what I intended to order (probably my fault, I was practicing my Spanish, so it probably didn't translate well). But when I told the waiter about it he said no problem that they would rush the order and give me fresh empanadas as well. When it was finished and it was very quick I paid and he offered me a free dessert as well for my inconvenience. I was so blown away. They didn't even do anything wrong, I thought. And the food. The food was perfect. Plus, they have a birthday club they sent me an invite to sign up for and they gave me a 10% too! Idk how you could get better than this place!

Love love love this place! Perfect for a weekday meal! Its set up cafeteria style with a line and they have so many specials including a weekday one that includes two sides, a main meat and a can of soda for $10! And it's so good and flavorful too! Don't find that too often nowadays, good food at a very decent price. The ladies working there are all nice and friendly and the first time we went in they explained things great. Their roasted chicken and beef empanadas are so good.

The food is good, but please take time to look at the menu and review what is included with each meal. If you don't ask for all your items staff don't include them. I purchased 2 meals of rice and pernin and they completely omitted my beans and did not tell me that these also included drinks. I understand that this is better for business on their side, but it certainly makes it feel unfair. Like I said food is good, but just look over menu well.

Needs better selection. The Moro go was dried. The rice and beans were yummy. The pork needed more seasoning

I've been coming here with my wife for the past year. Great flavor and so many options to choose from. They give you a great amount of food for the price. The staff is also nice when ordering. I ordered the chicken, rice and sweet plantains for pick up and the food was warm and delicious. Will be back.

I tired this restaurant for the first time yesterday by ordering through Door Dash. I ordered the roasted pork with yellow rice and black beans. I also ordered a beef empanadas but they gave me just a cheese empanada. Everything was very flavorful and delicious!! Only reason for 4 instead or 5 stars is because they gave me the wrong empanada. Will try again!!!!!

Thanks to Google, I discovered that Rincón del Sabor means "flavor corner." I would have to agree. This unassuming Latin treat is sandwiched between Angelina's and Taste of Soul, but it's no monkey in the middle. This is some great Latin food that will make you sit at your table far after your finished so you can digest the extremely gigante servings they give you. Look, I'm a gringo. I mean, people in my family may want to claim a little Native American or whatever, but what white bread American doesn't like to fantasize about having a little ethnicity in their bland background? Anyways, even from my provincial perspective, this is a great lunch spot for some good Latin eats.

I came to the restaurant with my family and we were interested in eating some typical puerto rican food since we are puerto rican but we hadn't issued because they did not want to serve as a small chicken soup because they said they only had a large set chicken soup and they were not going to separate that to serve the clients we got of course very upset and decided not to waste our money at the restaurant because that was very rude. I guess they did not want to service us or sell their food.

Good food. Great friendly service. Nice and clean lounge. Wide selection of food and drinks. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Finally got to visit this restaurant, and we were not disappointed! Everyone there was so friendly, helped us pick exactly what we wanted, and offered samples. We took the food to go, and even after we got it home, it was hot and fresh. Delicious, full flavors in everything. The chicken soup was amazing, and the chicken was so moist and tender. I love that they offer different meal options each day at great prices. We will definitely be regulars moving forward!

Love EVERYTHING that comes from here! The food is fantastic the customer service deserves an award. So hard to find that now a days! The ambiance is not super dine in comfy, but that's why I always bring it home!

FINALLY, An amazing spot for Latino food in DeLand! Before I used to go into Orlando for good Spanish food but now I can stay local for even better Spanish food. Just walking in and seeing the options is mouth watering. The mangu is so good especially with their signature pickled onions. They also have amazing cheese empanadas and every protein is worth trying. I suggest getting their lunch special , I've gotten it 3 days in a row it's 7.49, first day rotisserie chicken, second day roasted pork, third day steak with onions. Side note, sometimes they have amazing fried cheese for breakfast it's a must. It truly tastes like home.

Ordered delivery from yelp via Grubhub. Great experience. Driver let me know he was leaving and to expect him soon. He also asked where exactly I'd like it delivered so he literally parked and cane up to the second floor to find us! Food was hot and delicious. I ordered two rotisserie chicken with special beans and rice and plantains. I also ordered two roasted pork with the same sides. My dish was the roasted pork with salad and sited veggies. The veggies seemed like the kind you get frozen in a bag. Not recommended. The salad was huge but no dressing; I just put the hot sauce on it. That worked perfect. The garlic sauce was straight up garlicky. So good. The pork didn't need any sauce though. Tons of flavor on its own. Portions were generous. The staff loved their dishes. Hot sauce and garlic sauce are an extra 50 cents each. Not necessary and can be shared cuz a little goes a long way. Would definitely order from here again. The food is delicious. I did my best to be carb conscious but I'm sure the other sides are better than the sautéed veggies and salad.

Really delicious and flavorful food and HUGE portion- please get the pork shoulder as it was melt in your mouth tender and the sides were mega tasty. Couldn't miss out on a side of plaintains. All this food + a soda included was about $11 with tax, definitely a deal!

Food was SOOOO GOOD. It hit the spot. We ordered pernil (pulled pork), congri (rice mixed with black beans), yellow rice, yucca, Maduro (fried plantain), and cerdo frito (fried pork). The food isn't made to order but that didn't bother us it was still warm when we ate it. It's heated and placed in a to-go container. You get two sides and en entree with each plate for a total of 7.99. They also make fresh juice which is refreshing because you can almost never find that in the deland/deltona area. We ordered passion fruit juice (parcha). **I forgot to take photos of my food because I was too hungry to think just know that it was good** BUT HERE IS A PHOTO OF THE JUICE

Always get the pernil because it's my favorite, but lots of hot, fresh, yummy selections here. They fill the food cases and you choose what you'd like to eat. Try the bistec or the chicken, they are almost as good as my beloved pernil. Portions are good size and are value. I'm going to try the desserts on my next visit, I promise!

Place was suggested to us and we are happy we decided to give it a try. Flavors are very good and worth the revisit next time we are in this part of Florida.

Visited this tasty Puerto Rican restaurant today for the first time. As I walked in the door, the delightful smells of deliciousness started me off ready to enjoy. The pleasant lady behind the counter explained and offered-a taste of unfamiliar foods. The food was the most flavorful Puerto Rican food I have ever had. I enjoyed the tender, well seasoned pork, black bean rice and a plantain dish as well as a tasty empanada. I will be back.

Kind of hidden in the corner of the shopping plaza but this place is a hidden gem. The empanadas, yellow rice and tostones are delicious!

So we are originally from South Miami. This place is true to its name. Possibly the best Latin food I've had except for Mom's of course. We had the pork lunch specials. Huge amounts of both rice and pork! And the pork was off the hook! If you are looking for good Latin food in north Florida this is the place! DELICIOUS!!! The two lunches could have easily fed 3 ppl.

Ahhhhhh. Quick review of a hidden gem (thanks Yelpers for some great reviews!). I'm a huge fan of Pernil, and this was as good as I've ever found in a restaurant. (And truthfully, as good as mine, and I'm VERY proud of mine). Huge serving at a great price, especially with tasty yellow rice and plantains. I would have given 5 stars except that prices were not posted. Ironically, had I known how inexpensive things were I would have added more. Will be back the next time in town. Try it - you will like it!

Rincón del Sabor's selections of Pernil (Roast Pork), Bistek (Steak), and Pollo Assado(Roasted Chicken), among other selections, are tailor made for the Latino palate! Genuine Latino recipes and seasonings that are pleasant to all at a reasonable price! The serving staff is also awesome!

This is the second time I have ordered food from there. 2 meals, each time. The first time the pork shoulder dinner was nothing but a slab of fat and skin. It was completely inedible. I thought maybe I was just unlucky so gave them another try yesterday. I ordered a beef empanada, a cuban, some red beans, macaroni salad and a pork shoulder dinner. The beef empanada was stone cold. The cuban was great until I got to the second half of it and hit a piece of bone that was nearly as big as a golf ball! I can't believe nobody saw this when they were making the sandwich and had I broken a tooth they would be getting more than just a bad review! The macaroni salad was not macaroni salad and I know what it is supposed to be. What it was is macaroni with onions and pretty much tasteless. The pork shoulder? Didn't get one! Got charged for it, though. They gave me a styrofoam dinner container with only macaroni in it. I am done with these guys. Never again!

Very yummy, authentic food. I went with my Dad and we both really enjoyed our meals. I love supporting small businesses like this!

I had to retract my previous review. The food is still good. Hence the 2 stars. Unfortunately we've been over charged the past 3 times - & that establishes a pattern. We returned the last two times to get $10+ back every time. The containers don't get filled up & the portions are suspiciously sparse, but this doesn't occur with everyone. Very disappointed. We won't return.

Was in the area and seen this place and decided to give it a try, my expectations were very high considering the high reviews. I walked in and the place was little but nice. I order my food and the portions sizes were HUGE, it was enough to feed 2 of us. I order the rice with red beans, the steak, a beef empanada and a potato ball. The steak was really delicious, as for the rest, not so much. The beans needed a little more flavor. I FOUND A PIECE OF PLASTIC IN MY RICE! Don't know how that got in there! The beef empanada, where was the meat? Opened it and a spoonful of meat in it? And lastly, the potato ball, the meat did not look like it was cooked all the way and severely lacked flavor. I really wanted to like this place so that's why I gave it a shot. Will not be returning back.

I do not recommend a restaurant that while you choose what you are going to bring to your family, they withdraw in front of the customer what you are going to buy because someone at that moment called and separated something! It is a lack of respect to the face-to-face customer !! I do not recommend it nor will I return to buy there !! Also the portions are lower in quantity compared to similar restaurants !!

Mediocre at best kept hearing about this place finally went and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Rice was dried pork was not flavored enough .. Lelos BBQ has to be the best in the area for Spanish food..

First I have to say how clean the place was, I loved that. The food looked fresh and delicious And it was! I had the arroz con gandules, lechón and the maduros and no complaints. My husband had the mangu with 3 golpes and he ate the whole thing. The amount of food for the price- no complaints there either. 4 stars because they could be a little more friendly. The guy came out and just asked what we wanted to order.... no good morning or anything and me and my husband were the only ones there so it's not like they were busy that there was no time to be pleasant. The most important part is the food and that def did not disappoint, I just feel like part of every customer service is to be pleasant lol. Anywhoooo stop by for food, it was great.

BEST SPANISH FOOD IN TOWN! Buffet style at Rincon del Sabor! This place is a mustttt!!! The food is delicious. Definitely has moms seasonings. The service is great and the owners Joseph and Paola were super welcoming. The place is super clean.

Best Spanish food in town, hands down. The people that run the place are the nicest. Customer service is A1. Very clean and organized and the food is to die for. Highly recommended!!

Food was worth several repeat visits. Cuban sandwich was made after ordering, hot, and had good flavor. Included meats, pickles, and mustard as expected. Bread could have been more toasted and pressed. Plantains had a nice, mildly sweet taste. Prices are appealing for amount of food you get. Portion sizes are on larger size. They had an interesting assortment of beverages including fresh juices. The service left much to be desired. Several employees seemed confused about what I had ordered and whether it was to go or not (they never asked). My wait upon arrival for even an acknowledgement was on the lengthy side. The restaurant has walk-up service, several tables for self-seating, and a tv with music videos playing. It was moderately busy on my Saturday visit.

Fantastic seafood salad and SWEET plantains. Love the fish in coconut sauce and shredded beef steak. Got to give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Just what the doctor ordered a Latin style counter top restaurant. I had the crackling chicken con arrow y gandules and fried yuca. I went for lunch and they threw in a kolita champagne for $ 5.99 can't beat the price the portions were a bit less than other places I have been to that serve similar style however I would pay at least $ 3.00 more. It was a good portion for lunch just right. I will be a regular at El Rincon Del Sabor
