Rincon Limeño

Service was swift, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere is a bit basic, overly bright lighting, and cafeteria like tables. The cocktails are good but very expensive ($15) in relation to their size. The Spicy Chilcano, for example, was very tasty but full of ice and in a small 4oz glass with only about 3oz of actual cocktail. The Pisco Sour was better and in a bigger glass and approximately 6oz in size without ice. Same price. The stuffed potato was deep fried and stuffed with diced beef, onions, spices, and olives. It was quite delicious, but they were not careful to remove the olive pits and I bit down hard on one and almost cracked my tooth. It was quite painful. They should be more careful to not use any olives with pits as they can cause serious harm to diners and also be ingested. It’s possible that an olive pit was accidentally included in a package of pitted olives, but care should still be taken to ensure all olives are inspected or chopped before adding to this dish to identify and properly avoid any harmful pits. The Clasico Rincon Limeno dish was tasty, but also quite expensive ($43) for the overall quality of the seafood. Mostly deep fried, it tasted like previously frozen (not fresh) squid, fish, yucca, and shrimp with some ceviche in a cocktail glass. Overall it wasn’t bad, but not worth the high price. The Arroz Chaufa Mariscos was better, with a nice flavor and at a better price. Overall, not a bad choice in East Boston but it could use some improvement.

Great takeout experience here. It was easy to order online and my order was ready in about 15 minutes at their takeout entrance. I got the ceviche and the portion size was great for the price. The food was delicious. I've also eaten in here in person and had good experiences. The cocktails are very good too.

Came here for the green spaghetti with steak. The service, food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Restaurant is clean, the servers were so nice(She smelled good too lol) and the food was a good amount for price these days. I couldn't finish and took the rest home.

I think the only thing I would change would be to ditch the two TVs. They just don’t go with the cool vibe and atmosphere. The place is genuine Peruvian. Our server was Peruvian. I went with my daughter the night before a super early flight and the food was great. The Pisco Sour was even better. The place was full but for 2 tables so we still got a seat right away. Nice interior design. There are 10 more things on the menu I want to try. What we got was well flavored and the soup was complex and delicious.

A lovely restaurant to enjoy delicious Peruvian food in East Boston.

I was hoping as a family owned restaurant that this would be better than a chain. Sadly I was very disappointed. They often close their kitchen up to an hour before closing the restaurant. Suddenly allergy requests can’t be made through delivery. This place was almost a favorite. I’m hoping they go back to accommodating soon. I don’t want to keep supporting big chain restaurants but they seem to always have better service and better processes for accommodating customers. And better prices.

Came here for a birthday dinner and had a great time. The food was amazing and also a great price for the serving size and quality. The seafood was all fresh and well prepared. The meats and rice meals were delicious as well. We had a few drinks which were great as well. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made it a great experience. I’ll definitely come back soon.

The best Peruvian restaurant around. As a Peruvian, I can say that this is the most authentic restaurant in the Greater Boston area. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is the best, and parking is easy. We had an amazing lunch here and were served by the lovely Estela who was wonderful. She’s the best! Definitely recommend!

I've never tried Peruvian cuisine and I'm so glad I chose Rincon Limeño to be the first. Once you step in, you're immediately greeted with the friendliest smiles and the most welcoming hospitality. The staff makes amazing recommendation and the food that we tried were ALL delicious and the drinks were super fun. The atmosphere is fire. If you want to have a good time with your date or friends / family, this is the place to choose!

We're still thinking about this meal. DELICIOUS! This place has our Peruvian native's stamp of approval. Quantity and quality. The fried seafood with ceviche is a MUST. And the Tacu Tacu was amazing -- we dare you to try it and see how much rice & beans can surprise you! Our friend also had us try papas a la huancaina -- potatoes in this spicy cheese sauce. So much flavor. It's so worth the visit! Ordered: Papas a la Huancaina (not pictured), Tacu Tacu, Chaufa, and Clasico Rincon Limeno (fried seafood + ceviche)

Our first stop in Boston was to Rincon Limeno where my wife and I ordered the tapa ceviche mixto, pescado a lo macho, and a pisco sour. The food was delicious. I enjoyed my time at Rincon Limeno, the service was very friendly and inviting despite a minor language barrier, and there were lots of different groups of people in the restaurant--families, friends, couples. The prices may seem slightly high, but the portion sizes are quite massive. The taste was a tad bland to me, but not more than the other far more high end options. Of the Peruvian restaurants I've tried in the area, I'd most likely come back to Rincon Limeno.

Yes Must-try: Chupe de Camarones If you are hispanic this restaurant will make you feel at home ... from the service to the food, I loved every minute of it. Here is what I had: Chupe de Camarones: so tasty, savory and comforting. The shrimps were perfectly cooked, although I wish the tails were removed. It comes with a huge pile of very delicious rice. I want this all winter. The ceviche was very well balanced with a strong but not aggressive level of acid, and all seafood was firm and fresh. If you like fried seafood, you might want to get the ceviche mixto with Jalea (mix battered fried seafood), since the jalea was crispy and well cooked. I got to try the lamb with rice and beans, and the Arroz Chaufa (seafood rice) as well, both delicious and generous quantities.

Very lively and cozy atmosphere! Waiters were all very nice and friendly, also greeted us in Spanish by default so u know its authentic :) The ceviche fish has nice citrus flavor, and it was a large portion of fish! The sweet potato and crunchy corn that came with it also added good variety in flavors. The texture of the fish was a bit chewy at times but overall still good! The mini bandeja was also good, the rice was infused w some rly good savory flavor and the thin steak was so perfectly done and had a nice smoky and yummy flavor. The pork, beans, and egg were solid too. Salad had nice sour flavor to contrast the rest! The arroz con mariscos was sooo good. So packed w flavor and also w lots of squid and shrimp. It was not mostly just rice like many other restaurants are. Made sure to eat each and every last grain of rice :) In summary, some food was better than others but was still a great experience overall! And enjoyed the variety and flavors and large portions (we had lunch the next day too)

Place was easy to find! There's some parking but not a lot so if possible, I'd recommend taking public transportation. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. The staff are attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. My friend and I both got the Lomo Saltado. It was her first time having Peruvian food and she said her life has been ~changed~. #missionaccomplished It was a very quick dinner so we weren't able to order much but man, I need to try the aji de gallina next time!!

It is not a Peruvian restaurant. The food tastes like Colombian food. Service was good and the ambiance ok.

Rincón Limeño is a neighborhood favorite! The portion sizes are great and everything is quite tasty! We frequently share the clásico rincón limeño appetizer which comes with ceviche and a base of fried seafood, this is a great way to start your meal. The pisco sours are amazing! If you're looking for great food at a great price, this is the place to be!

No Peruvian taste... Got the lamb and tacu. No aspect to order sides of aji Amarillo. The lamb didn't taste like anything except lamb ... no Peruvian flavor, no cilantro, no spice.... No brightness from aji Amarillo. Sadly disappointing for Peruvian . Honestly unless they are dumbing down the flavor for an east coast palate I have no idea how Peruvian food could be this bland... BLAND

Food was delicious and good sized portions. The service was also good although the server forgot to put in one of our appetizers but to be fair it was really busy in there and we had five children with us. It felt a bit crowded but overall good ambiance.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area. The food and drinks are all tasty. Food portion is generous, and people there are always super nice and friendly everytime I've been so far.

Have heard sooo many good things about this place! I think this was my first time into east Boston. There are some sideways street parking right in front of the place but I'm sure there are parking around the area on the streets My bf and I came on Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. We walked in and our waitress was super nice and I took her advice on ordering the tacu tacu maricos because I love seafood. My boyfriend got the one with chicken. We both loved the flavor and the portions are actually very filling The only thing why it's 4 stars is because I can't really give it a 3.5. Pricing really caught us off guard because with 2 entrees, an order of app of empanada, and a drink. It came out to be $100 after tax. That's the only downside because it's not much of an upscale restaurant or anything. Other than that, I would 100% recommend and come back

Delicious food, excellent service, a true gem in East Boston. Ambiance is very friendly, for families, friends, couples, just for everyone. Server explained the menu very well and took her time with all the questions we had. Delicious desserts & drinks. will definitely go back as soon as I get a chance, though the restaurant is very far from me.

The food in the Revere location is excellent. I come almost every Sunday. The service is courteous and friendly. The only thing that I would recommend the owner is to tell the servers that noisy music with a very high upbeat should not be allowed. Typically I would go here to eat and have a conversation with my family. The music in the background is always appreciated but it is not pleasant when the workers select the music to make their jobs as a dancing party. The other day I felt like the music was very disruptive to eat my food. I could not even be heard and had to raise my voice to be heard by my family.

Rincon Limeno Restaurant is a Peruvian Restaurant located at 409 Chelsea Street in East Boston. There is but a few parking spots directly in front of the restaurants, otherwise, you can find parking on side streets nearby. My family came during the summer after taking the kids to Noddle Island and was able to enjoy the patio seating outside. The weather was gorgeous and we received great customer service that day. Our waitress did not speak much English but we both tried very hard to make it work. It was a struggle but we finally got our orders in. Our food came out at a good pace. The chef, I assume, helped buss some of the food out. When it came to the fries and sausages for my kids, he was animated when he came out to present them with his creation. I believe I ordered this from the kids menu so I assumed he came out to greet the children. You can tell he was proud of his creation down to the kids menu. The classico rincon limeno is a must try! You have a seafood ceviche served in a wine glass, and beneath it on a plate, is fried battered seafood and a red onion and tomato slaw. Next time, I am not sharing. Get this paired with your favorite drink and sit out in the back patio under the umbrella table with comfy patio seating chairs. As for the two meat dishes that we ordered, the meats were on the chewy side. I would skip the bandeja. The flan was good but pricy and lacked in presentation. They recently opened another restaurant in Revere closer to me so now I can get their ceviche whenever I want. Still, I prefer the patio seating available at their East Boston location. Good spot for Peruvian food close to the airport. Got the ceviche, chaufa with chicken, and the carne asada. I also got chicken empanadas, the dough was slightly sweet, but the filling was delish. Chaufa was very good; I liked the hints of ginger in the dish. Ceviche and carne asada were pretty good as well. Overall very good experience.

I didn't take pictures of anything, we had just landed, gotten to our hotel in Chelsea and were starving. They were pretty empty with only one table occupied when we walked in. We do not speak Spanish and it seemed that was the primary language of most the people working there which makes sense given the type of cuisine. However it made asking questions a little difficult. I got a chicken plate that came with a lot of chicken, rice, salad, and fries. There was no sauce for it, no dressing on the salad, and no salt on the fries (which is how I prefer my fries). It was okay, nothing was extraordinary but it was food and it was edible. You definitely get a lot of food on the plate. The server was extremely attentive and kept checking to make sure we were okay and if everything was okay.

I've been going to Rincon Limeño for years. It's always consistent, never a bad surprise. I love their Ceviche, their fried yucca and their tacu-tacu. Their Juices are also delicious. The portions are generous and the staff is always super nice.

My friends suggested to check out this Peruvian restaurant so we made sure to come on a Saturday around noon. It was a beautiful day so we opted for their outdoor seating. We shared their fried calamari and yuka fries served with a side of chopped up tomatoes. A simple batter over fresh seafood was exactly what we wanted. The freshness of the tomatoes balanced the fried aspect of the dish. For entrees, my friends ordered the fried red snapper, steak served over friends fries while I had the creamy sauce with chicken. Unfortunately their names escape me but with how satisfied we were with each of our dishes, I feel like you couldn't go wrong. The fish was cooked to perfection and a massive portion enough for a minimum of two people. Steak fries were well seasoned with a few slices of sautéed onions for extra crunch. I enjoyed my flavorful creamy chicken served over a little bit of lettuce. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I saw one of their soups on our way out and I just knew I have to come back. Cannot wait until then. Highly recommend!

They have an indoor and outdoor space. I absolutely love the outdoors. It's cozy and great for romantic events. I became a massive fan of Peruvian food when my friend introduced me to it in California. I accidentally found this just googling authentic Peruvian restaurants and it popped up. I read the reviews and it seemed ok. I finally decided to come and try it. Let me tell you... it is absolutely frikkin amazing!!!! The green spaghetti (that's how I compartmentalize the name lol) is to die for. I love pesto, basil and spaghetti and if you mix it all together?!? Im sold!!! TIP: IF YOU LIKE SPICY, ASK FOR THE GREEN SAUCE. I LOVE THE GREEN SAUCE (Aji Verde). You can use Aji Verde with anything! If you're new to Peruvian food, always start with Lomo Saltado. It's an easy start. But Peruvian's know how to make food taste delicious.

This area is full of hidden gems. With rents on the rise. Your cuisine must be on point to survive. The place is quaint and service is pretty quick, service and food are speedy. Nothing extraordinary about the service. The food while having an authentic taste, offered some variations to the common. Tried the Tallerin Verde-(Basil Pasta with steak) Flavorful and you could feel the pesto in the sauce. The meat was a little dry and I wasn't asked the temperature I prefer. The second dish was the Tallerin A la Huancaina with Lomo. New Spin on a classic dish. The lomo meat was more flavorful but too well cooked for my taste.

I'm Peruvian and I was blown away at how delicious the food was here. The ceviche was one of the best I've ever had. The fish was tender and delicious. I also had the lomo saltado.

This is my first time trying Peruvian food and I love it! The restaurant is popular and always have a full house. It's a bit small and because there's not a lot of windows it was hot inside. The employees were nice and friendly, they got us seated quickly after a table became available. I got the piscado frito and it comes with a bean soup? Im not familiar with the bean soup but it's like a more liquidy version of frijoles. It was really good with the fish and fried yucca. I dipped my fish in it and mixed the beans w the rice. The fish was evenly crisp but by itself it's not seasoned enough for me which is why I devoured the beans with it. The seco de cabrito is lamb in bean sauce. I liked it because it has a good kick in it. It's not really spicy, but it was hot if that makes sense. The lamb itself was tender, just wished I had more! In the end we got flan with whip cream and chocolate sauce. It was so smooth and creamy! Overall, my friends say the other dishes were yum!

I'd heard such good things about this place and finally had a chance to try their food. And I can safely say, it lived up to the hype! We got the lomo saltado (beef) and the tacu tacu, which is a mixture of beans and rice that's pan-fried. It's delicious and very filling. Would definitely eat here again!

Rincon Limeño is great! We live nearby and have had takeout and eat in several times-- never disappoints! The ceviche mixto is a must-have -- the marinade is perfection, and the sweet potato and corn are lovely accompaniments. My other favorite dishes are the Tallarines Verdes (yummy "pesto" pasta with grilled steak) and the Seco de Cabrito-- a Peruvian lamb stew that is the epitome of comfort food. Even the beans by themselves are top notch. And of course you can't skip the pisco sours! It's always busy but we've never had a problem getting a table, service is fast and friendly, and if it's open, the patio out back is adorable and festive feeling.

Fantastic spot. Ceviche is arguably the best I've had in the US. The baked stuffed potato (papa rellena) is really worth trying. Plantains also great. Service is excellent.

Came here as a party of 2. Loved their fried fish with the yellow sauce (tastes like creamy cheddar) and their seafood paella was pretty good. But my all time favorite is the mixto ceviche, so much flavor, citrus, and the crunchy and soft corn pairs so well with it. Highly recommend checking out their newer location in Revere! There was live music when we went on a Friday night. I've been to both locations but I prefer Revere it's slightly bigger with a very cool bar + live music! Ambience and service was great, too. Will be coming back soon.

We came on a Sunday night and it was really busy. My friend and I ordered 2 pisco sours, a ceviche, a chicken dish, and a fried snapper. The drinks were good, not too sweet. The ceviche was just okay, but maybe getting ceviche on a Sunday night wasn't the best move in terms of freshness. The chicken dish was really good, but the fried red snapper stole the show. The red snapper was $40 and was twice the size of my face. I've never seen a snapper this big in my life. When I ordered it, the waitress double-checked if I was sure that I wanted it because it was a huge portion. I was confused because I normally have no issues finishing an entire snapper myself, but this was truly family-sized. Took me 3 meals to finish it. Service was great. They constantly came by to check on our waters and to bring more limes and napkins. It definitely helps if you speak some Spanish though. Definitely give this place a try!

Have to saw I was very surprised with this place !!!.. we went on a Saturday night and was able to be seated right away ... seems we got lucky and beat the rush ... the food was very flavorful from the empeñadas to the ceviche... place is small so be ready to be a little cramped but well worth it.. oh and the drinks weren't bad either !!!

I had Choros a la Chalaca and Arroz con Pollo at Rincón Limeño. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was overall OK. Choros a la Chalaca had "Leche de Tigre" on top. Typically, the mussels are covered just with onions, lemon juice, cilantro, etc. The taste of fish in the Leche de Tigre overwhelmed the mussels'. The rice in the Arroz con Pollo was tasty but a bit dry. The chicken was dry and with no much flavor. The dish came with a side order of Papa a la Huancaina which was OK. Just to note that Arroz con Pollo is usually served with sarsa criolla (onions and parsley with lemon juice) which helps with the "dryness".

Great experience, the service was wonderful, you can see they definitely aim to please. Food was even better, for a party of 8, we got a lot of dishes to share and couldn't get pictures before the food was devoured calamari was crispy, seafood paella was savory and full of tentacles, yum! Kids liked the chicken and French fries, the soup was delicious. I'd make the drive to come back again!

Family owned restaurant! Been coming here for 12 years and they never disappoint. Great food, portions are generous and tasty. Service is always kind and food came out quick. Always a great experience each time.

First time trying Peruvian food and it did not disappoint! Every dish we had had tons of flavor and we left super excited to come back. Not only the food was delicious, the staff were super friendly and accommodating, such a lovely experience. There are two locations in East Boston and Revere. You can't go wrong with any dish. I particularly enjoyed the Ajicito de Gallina and Tacu Tacu Traditional.

Authentic Peruvian food and service in a setting that is both charming and simple. Other restaurants in the area had limited seating that dine-in was not viable, so I landed here and glad I did. The cheviche mixto was recommended by the server and I was grateful for the guidance. It is a seafood dish served cold. The citrus flavors pop and leaves a spicy aftertaste of cilantro. A family friendly space for sure, it isn't quiet. Come hungry, you'll leave happy.

My first Peruvian experience and it will not be the last. Clean, small restaurant. Food was outstanding! Started with the Shrimp ceviche and it was the most delicious ceviche I ever had! Presentation was pretty. The sweet potato cake was an unexpected delight. The sauces here are so aromatic and taste even better. Service was friendly and welcoming. Although I had the benefit of having my bilingual friend with me, I had no issues with communication. I can't wait to go back and try the whole red snapper! Reservations recommended but not required.

Amazing spot worth a trip! The red snapper is amazing and eye catching but every single dish has it's own unique flavors and irresistible sauces and spices. The staff are amazing and we had an amazing time here. Absolutely recommend this spot, top to bottom the menu from ceviche to drink options is worth coming back multiple times! Stay Eatin' Bruh approved for sure!

Food is good love that they have vegetarian options and really great non alcoholic beverages . Got the passionfruit limonata and it had fresh passion fruit in it .. went for lunch and staff was warm and welcoming . Food came out really quick , hot and fresh , we will be back . It is a tad on the pricey side but plates are large so it's worth it .

We were spending the night near Logan Airport and needed a place for dinner. By chance, we tried Rincon Limeno. Excellent choice - the food was delicious and the server was wonderful. We recommend the cabrito (lamb stew).

I ordered for pick up, they took the order over the phone. I paid when I ordered the guy suggested that he will give me the big order just in case I want to eat more. That's cool if it weren't at my expense. I did end up getting the bigger size but was not on him to make the decision for me. Location: The location is cool. Right in the center of town with ample parking spaces, meter free. The 1st thing I noticed was the restaurant sign went from green to red, it alternates colors. It is surrounded by other restaurants and shops. Inside is a bit small but they made the best of it. Each booth is surrounded by plexiglass for covid. It has a very cool vibe, just very small. I couldn't imagine going here with a large group. Close to the Airport The staff: They all seemed pretty nice and on point. I walked in to get my food it wasn't ready so I stepped outside when I came back in they were on it. I saw the hostess sit a few ppl while I initially waited to get someone's attention. The food: It was really good, being Cape Verdean rice is a staple in my culture so it is the hardest thing to get from anywhere is rice because if it isn't done right it is very disappointing. So the rice here met my expectations. The beef was so tender and had a great grille flavor to it. The beans could have used more flavor for me but all in all it was really good. Conclusion: I want to go back, sit in this time. Their menu had so many options.

This place was fucking bomb. Sooo good and I give 10/10 Yuca A La HuancainaFried Tapa Tallarines Verdes Empanada Peruana Pollo Tapa De Aji Ballina Tostones Flan Myria (I couldn't make out her name) was so nice and just loved her. I'll be back (terminator voice)
