The Best Restaurants in East Boston - Boston - The Infatuation

"Rincon Limeño is one of the few Latin restaurants in East Boston with a full liquor license, and they make some great pisco sours. But you’d be missing out if you didn’t also order some ceviche, aji de gallina, and lomo saltado. We think the entrees at Rincon Limeño are actually better than Celeste, our other reliable spot for Peruvian food. On the weekends, it can get very busy, so making a reservation ahead of time is a good idea." - joel ang

Rincón Limeño Restaurant Review - East Boston - Boston - The Infatuation

"Rincon Limeño is one of the few Latin American restaurants in East Boston with a full liquor license. And this place makes some great pisco sours, but you’d be missing out if you didn’t also order some ceviche, aji de gallina, and lomo saltado. While it doesn’t feel as cool as Celeste - our other reliable spot for Peruvian food - we think the entrees at Rincon Limeño are actually better. On the weekends, it can get very busy, so making a reservation ahead of time is a good idea." - Joel Ang

Incredible food and exceptional service by Monica and Juan Pablo. Both were friendly and engaging and made great recommendations. The ceviche was outstanding!

An excellent experience thanks to the service From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, but what really made the difference was our waitress. She was kind, attentive, and eager to recommend the best items on the menu. She made sure we had everything we needed and always with a smile. The food was very good, but without a doubt, the best part of the evening was the service. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!

As a person who absolutely loves a good Ceviche, I've been searching high and low around Boston for the perfect Ceviche. I'm happy to announce that my 20 year searching has come to an end. The Ceviche Mixto at Rincon Limeño exceeded my expectations and hit every mark. Admittedly I couldn't eat anything else because this Ceviche isn't an appetizer its a full meal. The Inca Soda was also delicious even in the diet version. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit so perhaps i can try the Passion Fruit Alitas (chicken wings) among other things. accompanied by cocktails

Our first and last time at this Rincon Limeño. We requested fish without shrimp. At first, the server wanted us to choose something else because of possible cross-contamination. Then they agreed to cook the fish in different oil. Sadly, the fish looked like something prepared for someone who was sick — and for $26? Definitely not worth it. On top of that, our table was wobbly. I mentioned it more than three times to two different waitresses, but they just looked at me and did nothing. Because of that, my daughter spilled her full mango juice. No one replaced it, and of course, they still charged us for it. Come on. We’re definitely not coming back. The other Rincon Limeño is way better.

Nice to see a local restaurant expand and open up another location. Definitely much larger than the Eastie location (if you're familiar with the OG spot). This location has a bar which is great for a night cap. I was relieved that the food quality stayed relatively good. I have to admit that the food quality and portions are going down slightly over time. Ceviche mixto is still good, not as spicy. Tac tacu de mariscos is a smaller portion but that balances out the fact that it is a heavy meal. The cocktail program is generic outside of the Mr. A (forgot the name haha) which was unique. Still a great place to eat

I called at 9:05 pm to order food to pick up. This location closes at 10:00 pm. The first time I called they hunged up the call. The second time that I called they told me that the kitchen was closed. I called the location at East Boston and they were able to take my order to pick up in 20 min. I love this restaurant but the location at Revere has bad service.

Yelp
Food: ok. We got the ceviche de pescado, ají de gallina, and seco de cabrito. In terms of authenticity, it's on the lower end. The quality of the ingredients was good and it was generally tasty. Nothing to write home about and probably will not be coming back for my monthly fix. Service: everyone was welcoming and our server was highly, highly attentive. Ambiance: pleasant! Lovely old school Spanish rock from the 80s-90s mixed in with random stretches of random electronica.

Yelp
Rincon Limeno Revere is a Peruvian restaurant located on 260 Broadway, in Revere, MA. This is the restaurant's second location, the first located in East Boston. This second location prove to be just as good as their first location, if not better. The restaurant decor is definitely more high end compared to their first location. My family visited on a Monday evening for dinner around 7pm. There were plenty of street parking. The restaurant had a lively crowd that night, a little boy's birthday/family dinner. I ordered my favorite dish, the Classico Rincon Limeno. I highly recommend this dish, you get a seafood ceviche served in a full body wine glass and a plate full of lightly battered fried seafood. We also tried the Seco De Cabrit, which is Peruvian lamb stew. You get stewed lamb meat with beans and rice. If you love lamb stew, this is a hearty dish to try. My husband ordered the Arroz Marisco, which is reminiscent of a seafood paella. Also good. The whole family shared one flan for dessert. It was very rich. Overall, everything we tried was delicious. The food came out quick and we were pleased with everything we ordered. Customer service was top notch. I can't wait to come back to try more dishes.

Yelp
The service was amazing even though they spoke a different language.. The food was amazing and flavorful and plentiful.. The restaurant was cute and decorated with a grass wall! They even sang happy birthday it's so cute!

Yelp
Had late lunch, ordered cocktails, we wanted some appetizers but they had run out of what we wanted to order as well as some main dishes. How do you run out of anything on the menu on a Sunday in the middle of the day? A little surprised by it. Not sure we will go back.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant with the family and we were not disappointed! The appetizers were top notch! We ordered the Tapa de Aji Gallina, Tapa Tallarrines Verdes and the Yuca a la Huancaina. All were delicious and started the night with us looking forward to our dinners! Dinner definitely did not disappoint! The Pargo Rojo was amazing! The Tallarines en Huancaina con Lomo con Carne, Jalea and Bandeja were all delicious as well. The desserts made a perfect ending to a perfect meal! The service compliments the food and is it's equal! The service is friendly, happy and goes above and beyond. This restaurant is a hidden gem and would highly recommend!

Yelp
Delicious tacu tacu de marisco and ceviche. The seafood is fresh and well seasoned. The tacu tacu sauce is incredible.

Yelp
Excellent service, very friendly staff and tasty food. Well located place, since it's easy to find street parking.
