Ringside Fire Grill

Great surprise! The pizza was amazing, we ordered the Margarita one. The service was very good and the atmosphere was super friendly. It is a big place with plenty of room and big screens to watch sports. The wifi worked well as well. To finish, their gelato was magnificent. And the price was right. I totally recommend it.

I was here twice recently. The atmosphere is fantastic and the aroma that the wood ovens put out really sets the mood. The burger was delicious, and the pizza was tasty! I especially like the tartness of the sauce.

I got takeout pizza so I am only reviewing that. The pizza was not good. I included a picture of their chicken parm pizza. All four adults were disappointed with the quality. Our toddlers enjoyed it though, probably because it is similar to the frozen pizza they have at kids play places.

I had a Great lunch here, the burger with fries ($15) was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was excellent as well. Great service.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat & they did not disappoint. We got the hot honey pizza along with buffalo chicken Mac & cheese. Both are done in the wood oven. So delicious. Highly recommend

This place is an absolute dump. We got seated, place was dead. Ordered our food, been waiting over a hour. We are actually still here. They do not come back to ask for water, drink or anything. They brought out one main course, 20 minutes later another. We are now waiting over 40 minutes to get our pizza. Wings were great, pizza was nasty and highly recommend that you never come here. From sitting down to getting our meal, we are approaching a hour and 30 minutes. Go anywhere else, please save your time and money.

Return visit and ordered the ribs entree. Really nice char on the ribs and veggies. Great flavor and enough ribs to share.

Good find, mix of pizza, flatbread and sandwiches. Bar had many wines (including wine flights) and local craft beer. Projection screen and TVs for sports. On right, traditional bar, far back was a wine tasting bar. Never had a gyro flatbread before and it was tasty. Pizza was crispy but could be stretched more for extra crispiness

My dock friends and I loved this place when it first opened, thought they had the best pizza and service but I have never seen a place go so far down hill so fast. Last few visits kept getting worse. They changed the recipe for the pizza and service has gotten terrible. 90 minutes to get a pizza while sitting at the bar, pulled pork was lousy and like $30 We never see the same staff. , turnover must be horrendous and that usually means poor management. I guess that's their interpretation of Fire Grill. Very sad, losing regular customers

I've been going to the Ringside Fire Grill every time I'm up at the lake--it was always a go-to spot for great food, good vibes, and especially that amazing pizza. But after my visit this past Friday, I'm seriously rethinking that. Yes, the place was busy and the service was solid, no complaints there. But the pizza? What happened?? It used to be thick, hearty, flavorful--something you looked forward to. Now it's paper thin, like a shadow of what it used to be. You could practically see through it. It felt like a completely different product--and not in a good way. Clearly, someone made a change in the kitchen or behind the scenes, and whoever made that call really

Figured I'd try it after few years!!!!! Ordered buffalo wings, they were good. Ordered a meatlovers pizza !!!! Was way to thin and no sauce or very little!!!! Was like eating cardboard. And paid about $14 for a small thin pie and not even little bit tasty. Was my mistake to try again . Could only eat few slices then rest garbage

The pizza is decent.... the calamari, however, was like trying to eat battered, deep fried rubber bands... absolutely horrible. I suggest you avoid the calamari at all cost!

This place is nice. The pizza is good. The mixed drinks are ok. A lil pricey but it's probably in line with the surrounding places. Will return in the future.

Why in gods name would you change the menu?? I loved coming here for the pizza, especially the garlic pie, then you go and swap everything. And the new stuff isn't that great. Hate to say it but we will be looking for a new spot.

Unfortunately, they make good food, but the last several attempts to order they don't have many items on their menu which had me choose another place more than once!! No meat lovers no Brooklin!! Come on its not a specialty!! Its simple ingredient!! If you're running a business have what's on your menu available. I'm local and unfortunately will use other choices.... So concider another choice so you dont have to spend time on the phone hearing we dont have that !!!!!!

Love the wood burning pizza- gelato was lovely- the pizza is unique and delish highly recommend the pumpkin honey and my son and brother loved the "meat flight pie". Lots of good stuff to try on the menu. Enjoyed making a wine flight- even brought home a bottle. Good coffee. Atmosphere is cute- got to watch some of the Olympics while there. Wish there was something for the kids to do but it wasn't an issue. Service is on the slower side but that's the norm in PA. If you're going out to eat around here be ready to relax and enjoy.

Been coming here for years. Always enjoyable. Was there last Friday. Today we're ordered 2 pizzas to go. Got home and they were paper thin!!! What the heck happened in 1 week. Not like the pizza is cheaply priced!!

The pizza was so delicious. And we really appreciated that they accommodated us by making a special order pizza. Our server was nice too.

As all the other Yelpers have reported the service was slow. Upon entering, the nice woman let us know the service was slow they evening and asked if we were ok with that. I have to be honest, I was not in a rush so it was kind of nice to sit at the table and relax. There are tv's located on the walls and the inside looks great. Everything we ate tasted great and obviously came out piping hot. My only true complaint was that even though service was slow, all the dishes came out at different times. Some people were almost done by the time others meals came out. If you are not in a rush, I think it is worth stopping in. They have a bar.

Super nice. Friendly. Smell of the wood fired oven worth the price of admission. Which is zero, but you know what I mean. Lake Wallenpaupack was a great spot, btw. All good stuff. Don't skip the flatbread. We were there weekday lunch and it was nice but quiet. Got there too late last night and missed a more happening time. Missed live music because of that.

Very accommodating for our large group today. Service was friendly and quick. Very family friendly- bring the kids! Pizza was good and the wings were delicious. Get some tasty cookies to go if made that day. Mixed of dark and milk chocolate- changed my life.

From this spoiled pizza person from North Jersey who has access to best pizza in USA loved the pizza there - wood fired!!! Only complaint almost waited 45 mins to one hour to get our food. Slow service but. Ext time we will expect the wait and not ravenous when we sit down!

Quick take out. We love the thin crust and fire grill. The chicken Parm and white pizza were delicious.

Tried this a few nights ago, and we had a great experience. The "small" salad was huge! We split that and tried out a white pizza. The white pizza was delicious. Very good flavor and we both loved the crust. Our server was very attentive, and the ambience is nice. We are looking forward to coming back to try out the back patio this summer. Great choice for casual dining at Lake Wallenpaupack.

What a delight - this place was big, clean, and trendy. The vibes were all good in here. Music playing and projectors all over. A giant bar (which was full) and a ton of other seating. There was a whole wall of wine to choose from. They also had a pretty good beer selection - lots of choices from the brewing company in town. The menu was awesome with lots of choices if you werent in the mood for pizza. We were though and got the meatlovers. It was REALLY good. @ $19.00 it was a lil pricey for pizza, but being a meat lovers wood fired I think it was worth it - especially being that it tasted so good!!! If I had to nit pic, Id say the sauce was a tad on the sweet side. That would really be splitting hairs though... All in all the visit was great. Great food, great staff, and a great overall vibe. Next time I'm in the area I am definitely going to make sure I stop in.

This place has been our go to since they opened. Slowly they have been limiting their menu. My wife really enjoyed the wings, chicken fingers etc as she's not big on Pizza. We just found out they discontinued all of their appetizers, nothing from the deep fryer! When the place opened they had a great menu, burgers sandwiches great appetizers etc, now it's strictly pizza and flat breads. I'm not sure if they are intentionally trying to ruin their business, that's their business but for us, who have gone there 2-4 nights a week, we sadly will not be going back.

Went there last week, the food is still good, and the service was excellent . But the prices went to high.$7.00 for a draft beer was kind of high,also the pizza got smaller, and they charged 75 cents for each dipping sauce for the wings.

Based on the lowish rating we were hesitant to try, but we are so glad we did! We went in yesterday for lunch with my parents and two young children (almost 4 and almost 2 years old). They had high chairs as well as crayons and coloring books for the kids which is good to know! We ordered the kids food soon after sitting (French fries and bacon chicken ranch flatbread), with the fries coming out about 5 minutes later and the flatbread coming out soon after. Adults ordered a TKO and Meat Lover's, both were really fantastic! In sum, we had a great lunch with absolutely no complaints and only praise. It appears management had listened to and addressed prior complaints of slow service. Looking forward to adding Ringside into our rotation of great places up here!

I don't understand when this restaurant has overall star rating of less than 4. I absolutely love the flatbreads and pizzas here. I work at the medical office down the road and enjoy treating myself once a week to a flatbread at lunch. Service is stellar, 7minutes, for a delicious chicken flatbread. I highly recommend coming here for a pizza! Thanks for the continued amazing service everyone at Ringside!

Enjoyed the wood-fired pizza - nice, comfortable setting - good beer selection - friendly service

We tried this for the first time on Friday. We sat outside on the back patio. Didnt even know they had one.. it was clean and sunny. They also have a covered side deck and of course an inside restaurant that is very large for you to choose from. My husband had a burger and the house chips. He enjoyed it. We ordered a pizza too. That was amazing!!! A $12.00 pie and $6 for 3 toppings. Worth every penny. On the menu we got the toppings price was not listed. So be careful they do add up.

We stopped here one evening after being turned a way from other local eateries due to the long waits. Not knowing what to expect we were surprised when we walked in. The atmosphere is very open and rustic yet modern. It had a very interesting vibe. We ordered the wood fired wings, a cheese pizza and the kid's chicken tenders meal. The wood fired wings themselves were excellent. They serve a creamy hot sauce/buffalo type sauce on the side. That was weird but we got over it. The pizza was average and was seriously lacking flavor. Not at all what we expected. The chicken tenders were very good but the French Fries were terrible. They tasted as if they were sitting in a bowl under a heat lamp for 8 hours. The service was slow and disorganized. It actually was pretty bad. There are so many employees walking around who look utterly confused. I'm not sure what to make of this place. It has potential but probably will fail unless they get it together and fix some major issues.

Used to be great. Ordered a Meat Pizza and two Gyro flatbreads. Ice cold, pretty much no meat on anything. Yet another restaurant in this area that thinks they can get away with poor food because it's a resort area. These places never survive in the long term.

Bring back the fried appetizers.....let me pick what I want to eat. Great place just the change in menu will keep us away

Was impressed with the size of the salad I ordered. Thin crust is not my favorite style of pizza, but I do like the flavor from a wood burning oven.

Very pleasantly surprised, I was expecting a pizza and wings pub and it is so much more. It is very casual but done very nicely and they will soon be opening up and make your own wine and a wine bar here so this is a great gym in the Tafton Pa area!

Normally I would have given Ringside a 5 star review. I visit there regularly in the summers. I was very disappointed when I went in this week. My favorite thing on the menu (the wings) is no longer being offered. Their house sauce and buffalo sauce are both so delicious I would always get 1 order of each for an appetizer for my family before the pizza. They also go rid of all the hot appetizers... including mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers. While the thin crust speciality pizzas are very good, in my opinion just pizzas and salads on the menu is not enough of a selection and make the menu kind of boring. Especially because it has a fancy sports bar feel I think the wings really fit the theme. please bring the wings and hot appetizers back!

Finally had a chance to try this place last weekend. We were so pleasantly surprised by how delicious this place was. We had a large party of 11 people and ordered many items to try. Pizza was excellent but the wings, oh man those wings were probably one of the best we ever had. The house special ones were a little sweet and spicy and we couldn't stop. Kept ordering more. Can't wait to go back. Also I have to give this place credit. We were surprised to see that one of their workers was a Ukrainian refugee who just recently arrived, fleeing from the horrible war. To the owners of Ringside- kuddos to you for helping such a wonderful woman and giving her the opportunity to work here. We were so glad to have met her.

Stopped in on Friday 5-7-21 hoping to get something to eat but didn't have any luck. We showed up around 7 o'clock so it was not necessarily dinner time and the place was fairly busy, not full of busy. They were clearly about five or six empty tables and the guy told us it would be about 15 minutes, I don't understand that. But, we waited so we could try out somewhere new. I will say that the food looked good, how do I know this? Because there were three or four burgers sitting waiting to be brought out to customers but they were never served while we were waiting for a table, which was at least 15 minutes. The place is run by a bunch of amateurs. I'm not sure which one is the owner/boss but I assume it was the short guy that was running the register who told us we had to wait 15 minutes. It is clear that the owners have no experience in running a restaurant. Completely disorganized people running all over the place but accomplishing nothing. As I said, food was sitting there for at least 15 minutes while we were waiting for a table and never served. One waitress just stayed by some people at the bar who I assume were regulars. Another waitress only concentrated on one large table never helping anyone else. One guy was running around cleaning tables but not seating anybody nor was he taking orders. This place is a complete mess and will never survive until they get someone in there that actually knows how to run a restaurant. It's a cute place, it's a good size place, the food looks good, but under this management it will never survive. Last comment, these people do not wear masks! The servers, the manager/owner, the cooks who you can see because it's an open kitchen so they are visible to everyone and the customers. There is no enforcement of any safety whatsoever and even the ignorant customers walk around refusing to take any precautions. There is not a prayer I will ever go back and try this place we waited so long we just walked out. We drove all the way to the other side of the lake and went to Drafts which has excellent food, excellent staff and just a pleasure to walk into. Do not waste your time going to this place.

We have eaten here twice. Love the brick oven pizza, sandwiches and soup! We had the gyro pizza today and it was phenomenal! Got 3 bottles of local organic wine to go too! Wonderful service, warm and delicious.

This place deserves a higher score than it has. I visited here 1/15/22 and had a great experience. They had live music and wildcard football on a projector. Good selection of beer and pizza. Friendly and attentive service. Ordered a flatbread and an app, got my food lightning fast. My only wish is that it was open a little bit later than 9:00. Give them a try, I recommend it!

I'll start with the good: pizza was amazing and our server was super nice. Now the not so good: I'm not sure how long ago they changed their menu but to not serve fries as an appetizer and can only get them if you order chicken fingers (since fries come as a side to them) was slightly disappointing. Also, the older lady at the register who seemed to be the owner was staring us down our entire meal and just overall was not too pleasant when checking us out. It's a cool place though definitely has a lot of potential.

food and drink was great. Nice clean wood fired stove. Pizza was great, nice sauce and good Italian sausage. Our waitress was wonderful and service was really quick. We will certainly be back - Thank you!

The Margarita pizza was disappointing. The mozzarella cheese covered well less than half of the pie and the chopped basil leaves were similarly sparse so that most of the pie was dough and red sauce. And on to of that, very pricey at $18 for a 14 inch pie (they no longer sell the 16 inch pie). I will go back to the other place up the road next time.

Wood fired brick oven pizza.... delicious, Wings were fantastic. They just opened on Memorial Day 2020. Magnificent looking inside, bar is amazing. Setting up an outdoor area for seating. Waiting to come back. Jill and Don.

Tried going tonight at 8:18 and they turned us away. Said they are serving anymore customers. They close at 9:00!

My brother-in-law and I stopped in on a lark and we're glad we did. Pizza was fantastic and the Yeungling Lager(s) just hit right. Please stop in - staff were polite and inviting.

I had the hamburger which was good but not worth $15.00. The place was nice inside especially with the many TVs and the music outside. The restroom was clean but this restaurant is on the expensive side for the Tafton area. So we will not be back soon, until the economy improves or they lower their prices.

Waited 20 minutes before the waiter came over and asked for the order. By that time, I had already picked out what i wanted to eat. I tried ordering the food and the waiter stopped me and told me I MUST order a drink first. Although nothing rude was spoken, the waitress had a horrible attitude and made me and my family feel very uncomfortable. Appetizers took abnormally long to come to the table. When the food arrived one item was completely wrong. The rest of the food came as ordered but was nothing to write home about. (Average tasting and quality). I would have loved to give this place a second chance but the initial bad experience will most likely prevent me from returning.

house sauce on the wings is amazing! sweer chili sauce with a little kick. great selection on tap and tons of red & white wine options - huge projector screen for all the big games and a fantastic location! safe and excellent

Place was horrible, wings were so small and not crispy Pizza was absolutely the worst brick oven pizza i ate , bottom was not crispy which means stone no hot enough ... maybe train the staff better and tell the pizza guy to focus on pizza not his phone

Big disappointment. Service sooo slow. Took over an hour to get a pizza when the place was only the fourth the way full. Pizza soggy and sauce was bitter. It was Friday night and not very busy, yet other restaurants in the area packed. That says it all! Too bad because the place inside is very cool and trendy.

We had a very nice experience here. The venue is clean and fresh. All of the food was amazing. We had wings for the appetizer. Very good. This is your place if you like brick oven pizza. We got the TKO and loved every bite. Our overall experience was very nice.

Place looks really nice and seems interesting, However, it took well over an hour to get food. The hamburger had no bun, wasn't cooked as requested and on top of fries. The fries were soggy and gross from the burger. One flatbread pizza was burnt.

Stopped in here for the first time. I really enjoyed the place. I had french onion soup and a meat lovers flat bread pizza. I thought both were excellent. Beer was cold service was great. I highly recommend this place.

We are local and drive by the Fireside almost daily. Finally decided to stop and try it out. We brought friends from out of the area and we were looking forward to a nice lunch out. We are all in our upper sixties and low seventies and wore our masks. Outdoor dining was a little too crowded so we opted for the spacious dining are inside. We were able to find a table socially distanced from others and had a seat. Our server acted like she had far better things to do than assist us in ordering. Brisk and abrupt attitude and long waits in between drink orders and lunch orders. It was NOT busy inside by any stretch. Most, if not all, servers and cooks were not wearing their masks properly and noses were prominent all over the place. We have minor health issues and need to be reasonably sure we can be safe when we dine out. In addition, one of us has an elderly father in poor health who needs to be protected from any chance of covid infection and the thought of accidental contraction of the virus from the staff was uncomfortable. We stayed just long enough to finish most of our meal and left. There is no excuse for non adherence to the safest protocols available and mandatory in PA. In looking back, we should have left immediately but wanted to support our local businesses. It will a long time before I return, if ever. Knowing the cook staff was not wearing masks properly will color my thoughts about even using take out service. Too bad. We'd really like them to succeed. You guys can do so much better. Come on!

We were here for the week and came for our ritual Friday pizza night. First time and it was great! We had the white garlic pizza, wings, and drinks. Great atmosphere and great service.
