I don't usually go to a lot of Ripley's attractions, but since this was located next door to the CN Tower I figured why not. It was also raining so I wanted to do something indoors. I went during spring break so there were a multitude of kids here. They have different kinds of tickets you can buy.
-timed ticket - $45 for an adult
-flex ticket - $49 for an adult
-sharks after dark - $40 for an adult after 5 pm
-Ripley's Aquarium/CN Tower combo - $74 for an adult. This is general admission to the main observation deck at CN Tower
I did the timed ticket. There was a bit of a line just to get in and have your tickets scanned. There are two levels. You will start on the upper level which has Canadian waters, shoreline gallery, and kelp forest. You'll make your way to the lower level. The lower level has the rainbow reef, dangerous lagoon, discovery centre (mostly for kids and families), the gallery, ray bay, planet jellies, life support systems, and shipwrecks. There is food by the discovery centre. You exit the aquarium by going through the gift shop. That's how they get you, you'll see something you might want to buy as you're trying to leave.
So, even though it was pretty busy, I was still able to look at everything. In the dangerous lagoon with the moving glidepath, you don't have to stay in line with everyone else. You can get off the moving glidepath and bypass all of those people. Otherwise, you'll be waiting awhile just to finish. If you have kids, there are spots where they can crawl and get unique views of the fish. I would recommend coming here, you can spend a few hours there. It's a lot bigger than it looks. Staff was nice and helpful.
