The idea of connecting food and books is brilliant. The place looks awesome and I could spend hours here. The food is good. Coffee is great. Service is average. I asked about a small change and the preparing team failed (they labeled the box properly, but failed to put modified food in). Of course they redo the whole sandwich, but it cost an extra time. Surely mistakes happen, but my tolerance is zero by the usual ask for generous tips

I got the jerk turkey tips bowl and it the turkey was super dry, and the bowl only comes with one plantain. They put sugar in all of their drinks by default so if you’re looking for a traditional matcha or latte, make sure you ask for no sugar. Their brownies are super good. They also move pretty slow with service even if there’s a line so i wouldn’t recommend it as a coffee quick stop between meetings.

Hot Espresso milk drink decoder: Drink/cups = 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz. When I asked for an 8 oz espresso drink with 2 oz of espresso, they offered Flat White or Cappuccino. For Here ceramic cups or Takeout - they’ll assume takeout unless you tell them For Here. My Cappuccino was classic dry foam, with good espresso. Tasty Ham and Cheese croissant in unusual flat shape with very melty cheese and diced ham.

Great Spot in Kendall Square for a casual cafe break. Over the past week, I've been coming to Ripple cafe for quick lunch visits or coffee breaks. The cafe offers a spacious interior, complete with comfortable bar seats and cozy lounge couhches. Although it is located right next to a bustling MIT bookstore, it has an inviting atmosphere that is great for both relaxation and work. Their specialty tea lattes have been a consistent delight. Each variety I've tried, from the London Fog to the Organic Chai Latte, has been delightfully smooth and well-crafted. As for the food, while the sandwich offerings are somewhat standard, their Haitian-inspired bowls were great. These bowls strike the right balance of rice, greens, and proteins, serving as healthy meal options. Just beware that the bowls pack a spicy punch, so pairing them with one of their specialty lattes is highly recommended.

Very nice space with mediocre espresso drinks and food. Soaring ceilings, a comfy couch amd chairs, surrounded by plants and floor to ceiling windows. But espresso is flat and with a slightly burned taste. I asked for here and got to go. My banana muffin was frozen in the middle and bone dry and tough on the outside. Matcha latte was tasty.

The brioche bun here is the real thing!!! Coffee is so good

Amazing food! they have the best rice bowls and the service is great! i love their brown sugar cinamon latte, and the chai lattes always hit the spot.

$6 for a drink that’s 75% ice? No thank you. Safe to say I won’t be eating here again.

I have picked up cappuccino with oat milk multiple times here while heading to the office and I love it. Its right outside Kendall/MIT MBTA station - the location is great. I also loved the vegan spinach patties! So delicious.

Always enjoy stopping here when I am in the Kendall square neighborhood. Friendly and hospitable service complete this clean, well designed cafe that is convenient to the MIT bookstore, MIT museums and Red Line MBTA station. Coffee is pretty good, too.
