First time here to this local bar / restaurant. Food was great and it has a full bar! Lemon rice soup was delicious. We had the chicken marsala and chicken piccata. Both were excellent. Looking forward to going back.

First time here. Had the chicken piccata with artichokes over spaghetti. Very good and a generous portion. Came with a good sized side salad and a really good buttered roll. Very friendly staff. I’ll be back to try the chicken nachos and the French toast.

Amazingly good breakfast. Love the way eggs and hash browns are prepared. Pancakes, English muffins all excellent and fresh. Large chunks of ham. Big portions. We have had breakfast often. Unfortunately, Not as good of luck with dinner. I didn't like the stir fry my chicken was super chewy and just texturally not right-waitress was very understanding and refunded us. Next time I had rigatoni. It was basic. It didn't taste like the sauce was homemade more like canned Gordon foods sauce. Not worth the price to me. It was a large portion. Husband had a hamburger and it was a ok burger and fries. Service is always attentive and nice. We plan to stick to breakfast going forward.

Great place . So happy that they opened Restaurant here . Absolutely THE BEST POT ROAST IN TOWN! Big portion sizes . Super friendly waitstaff. They have a full bar too. I haven’t yet had a bad meal here once! Supposedly they are the sane owners as Green Apple , but let me tell you , this is an upscale. Place is the right size . Menu is excellent and location couldn’t be better. They do have a fireplace too , that sets up place somewhat romantic if you want it to be . Even green beens are fresh and crispy and not from the can!

The pot roast dinner (with mashed potatoes and a veggie) along with a choice of soup, salad or coleslaw is the best! Very friendly waitstaff. We love eating here.

Nice place! Food was good service was very good. Clean, nicely decorated. A few TVs around and a nice fireplace. We were able to have a nice conversation without fighting noise. Waitress was very attentive and very nice. Good portions of food. Actual cut turkey on my sandwich and not deli sliced.

I have been going here since it opened, about once or twice a month now. Every time I go in I always hope that Beth is our waitress. She’s such a wonderful woman to be around, always goes above and beyond with our services. Even when she is slammed with customers, she still always does her absolute best and finds a way to balance it all. Any time she’s working we know it’s going to be great service. The food is really good here and I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I brought my wife and stepdaughter in for dinner on Valentine's Day and we were very impressed with the food, cocktails and service! The entire staff was working hard and as a team and we couldn't have been happier! Having worked in several different restaurants, I understand how hard it is to maintain high standards to satisfy the customers! Here's to many more successful years!

Yelp
First time in here for lunch and what a great deal! Nice place, clean and inviting. Staff is very nice and on top of their interactions. For 3 beers and a sandwich and a bowl of soup... $28!! Like, unheard of. Told them to up their prices. I had a full bowl of cream of potato soup and a full tuna sandwich on toasted white with pickles and the food was TEN BUCKS. You can't make that a home for that price. They serve breakfast til 3 and the staff said their pot roast, steak and stir fry is killer. Gonna be back real quick to try it all. Underrated for sure and a hell of a value in today's economy/ restaurant environment. Don't hesitate to check this place out if in the area.

Yelp
Service is always quick and everyone is so kind. Food is very good too! Always looking forward to trying something different.

Yelp
Ordered the southwestern egg rolls and I was brought what was clearly some kind of roll with cabbage and carrots. My entrée was the Gyro salad and it didn't have everything that was advertised on it and the Greek dressing was actually tzatziki sauce and there was barely enough on it. My wife ordered the gyro omelette and she was happy with it.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to stop in here and we have an excellent experience. We were greeted when we walked in and were seated quickly. Drinks came fast and the refills continued during our visit. They do have good coffee here - be sure to grab some if you come in. The soda is not the best, it tastes like your typical bar soda. Speaking of bars, Ripples of the Lakes has a HUGE liquor selection. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with their wall of liquor. The food was excellent. I tried the Leonard's Omelette, which was smothered in sausage gravy - so good! My wife tried the Spinach and Feta Omelette - she said it was good. Both omelettes were huge. Both of us ended up taking half of our omelettes and hashbrowns home and enjoyed them for lunch. We did like there were two separate rooms here as well. There is a smaller room with one long table that would hold ~10 people and the other room would hold ~30 people. If you need a gathering space, this might be a good place to consider.

Yelp
My wife and I, along with another couple, dropped by Ripples for dinner, marking our second visit since its reopening. We were quickly seated in the dining area, and our server greeted us with menus and water. There was a slight delay before she returned to take our orders, but the menu offered a solid variety. I went with the chicken kabob, while my wife chose the fried chicken, each dish accompanied by a fresh side salad and fresh made bread rolls. The kabobs were nicely cooked and paired with rice, though they lacked tzatziki or any sauce, leaving the chicken a bit plain. The fried chicken, on the other hand, was crispy, well-prepared, and packed with flavor. A large bar sits prominently in the center of the restaurant, and the place felt clean overall.

Yelp
This place is great! Authentic family restaurant with classic favorites! Perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks, drinks, and dinner, of course. My husband and I have eaten here several times and not once have we been disappointed. Service is excellent- the waitstaff is fast, friendly, and efficient... always there for you when you need them. Atmosphere is relaxing, comfortable, and well-lit, as if you were dining in your own home :) Once seated, a basket of warm rolls are served up with pats of butter alongside fresh glasses of lemon water. The full-service bar is an unexpected delight and our hand-poured cocktails have always been on point in terms of taste and value. Of all the menu items I've ordered, my favorites are the Chicken Marsala and the Chicken Fruit Salad. My hubby loves the fried pickles and pretty much all of the chicken sandwiches and wraps. We recently shared an order of the nachos, which were good, but I felt they needed a little bit more cheese to be considered a true "nacho!" And we've only tried dessert once, but will be back for more because the carrot cake was amazing! For a yummy meal in a friendly, clean space, try Ripples of the Lakes and you'll leave happier than when you arrived! :)

Yelp
The food is superb, the service is terrific - I lost my mind on the pot roast - so good! We've always enjoyed their food and you are made to feel special when you walk in the door! We'll be back!

Yelp
The chicken finger pita is amazing!! I get it with the sweet potato fries which are crunchy and so delicious!!!

Yelp
We tried this for the first time for breakfast. The Kentucky hash was perfect. The poached eggs were slightly overcooked, but still had a bit of runny yolk which is what I wanted. It came with a side of biscuits and gravy which was also very good. My husband had the biscuits and gravy for his meal. It was canned gravy, but still very good. They grilled the biscuits which was a nice treat. The staff was very friendly. The prices were fair. We will be adding this to our breakfast rotation.

Yelp
First time here and with having a gluten allergy, Anastasia was very helpful in getting me answers. Food was quick to come out and if you know you know. Gluten free buns are not typically good lol they are very good here. Definitely recommend if you have gluten allergies. The restaurant is super cute. Love the vibe here. Come check them out!

Yelp
We need more restaurants like this in the White Lake area. Ripples is a gem. We've tried most of the menu and everything is superb. The first time I tried the German tomato soup, it was like my late grandmother was in the room with me. It's made from scratch. Ribs fall off the bone. The Chicken Marsala is so savory. All the steaks are prime and broiled to perfection. The Primavera is a great vegetarian dish. This is a 5 star restaurant family style prices.

Yelp
Place looks great, was very excited, very nice and neat looking inside and out. Food looked great, but as we finished our meal, my wife drank her Coke and realized there was about 15 ants walking around inside her glass. Which my wife had to fight not puking. Waitress wanted to give me a free Coke! LOL after I went and found the owner he was great and said everything was free and he was sorry. I don't know if my wife will ever go back very bad experience. Seems like a great place. I sincerely hope they fix the aunt issue.

Yelp
My wife and I went here for lunch. The inside is nicely decorated and has a good number of tvs. Our food and service was very good. My wife and I split our meal so the waitress, without us asking, was kind enough to split the servings on our own plates. We'll definitely go back.

Yelp
Great job to the team at Ripples! We have eaten breakfast and lunch here and we could say enough about the great food. Love the omelette's, the Rueben's, and pot roast (super tender)...we make this a regular stop for sure, especially for breakfast

Yelp
Wonderful Breakfast, great service! Our breakfast was great quality, hot, and delicious!

Yelp
Not what I expected - it's like a diner with a bar when you walk in the door. The food was OK, the service wasn't great - we were there for a late lunch around 2:30 PM. Not 100% sure if I will try it again although I do see a lot of positive reviews.

Yelp
A childhood favorite that I used to go with my grandparents growing up. Although obviously different now and more modernized interior, the pickle chips appetizer was good along with the bread, chicken finger dinner, and the GRILLED BBQ CHICKEN SALAD were great. Will be back. Wish they had that secret recipe for that old apple dumpling with the cream sauce. Our server was really nice too.

Yelp
Stopped on our way home to the other side of the state. Service and food was wonderful!

Yelp
When I arrived at Ripples, I was kindly greeted and quickly taken to my seat. I ordered a drink which came rather quickly, after I ordered their Mozzarella sticks ( one of the many available appetizers) and got their chicken strips. My food came very quickly. My mozzarella sticks were a little bit chilly but besides that I have no other complaints. The inside of Ripples was very nice and they had a good amount of televisions and sports shows to choose from. Very good place will definitely be back soon!!!

Yelp
Food was pretty good and the place was neat and clean. Service good so we will go back.

Yelp
One word...AWESOME! We have not had a bad meal yet! Great selection and friendly owners and staff. The Southwest Egg Rolls and Chocolate Bump Cake are to die for! (Okay, now my mouth is watering as I write this review!) They are now open for breakfast so do yourself a "flavor" and have a meal or two here. It is Yumtastic!

Yelp
I am floored to say the least. My boyfriend went up here tonight to get a nice dinner with his brother. My boyfriend who is 28, would not get served alcohol because they said it wasn't him in his id. Mind you, he now has facial hair and was in his younger 20s in his ID. BUT That isn't the part that bothers me.. I can get past that. What I can't get past is that the bartender said "it kinda looks like him, but then he got fat" UM.... Talk about unprofessional. We really liked this place and believed it was wholesome. But the "fat" comment really turned us off. Will most likely not be coming back!

Yelp
We decided to try out the revived Ripples of the Lakes which (re)opened just recently. We were seated almost immediately and after a few minutes were greeted by our server, Hailey. We looked over the drink menu as well as the food menu to decide what to order. Both food and drink is what I would consider "standard fair" with prices comparable to other similar style and sized restaurants. Decor is typical "Family Style" restaurant with a full bar. It is not a large space of tables and booth seating and has been noted packed most nights after 5pm. In fact we tried to sample the food last Saturday but needed a shoehorn to get in the waiting area and ended up leaving. We were seated at a table right next to the service station which included a gentleman that came by to pick up dishes as we ate - including nearly picking up food we hadn't finished. It was kind of comical. I think he was trying to do the best possible job but was a little over zealous in his efforts. Hailey was at time MIA and at one point I had to ask our dish guy for extra napkins. Service overall was marginal. Hailey brought a basket of bread but no plates or silverware. (The bread was almost tasteless . . .) The wine list was limited to fairly cheap wines, some of which I was familiar with as not a wine worthy of a $10 per glass charge. My girlfriends Merlot and my Malbec were less than inspiring. She ordered the Pot Roast which she described as very flavorful but not fork tender. She mentioned that the mashed potatoes were very good, but that the asparagus, much like mine, was limp and flavorless. I opted for the 1/2 rack of Baby Back Ribs with sauce on the side as I prefer a dry rub. The ribs were very good as were the fries. We both ordered a house salad of which both were good. I noted a few things I would suggest for improvement: 1. Servers may be covering too many tables to pay an ample amount of attention to the guests during a meal; 2. It's a tight space, but the servers should be mindful not to cut in front of guests being escorted to their tables or leaving the restaurant; 3. We watched a server seat four very large patrons with a small child in a high chair in a booth when pulling two tables together would have given them ample space and a more enjoyable eating experience; 4. The gentleman picking up plates should be located off of the dining floor rather than hovering over the guests; 5. I would recommend turning the lights down a bit after 5pm to add a little more ambiance rather than risking patrons getting sunburn because of the full on overhead lighting; 6. Confusion at the register might well be avoided by having the servers collect the payment rather than the patrons mixing together with people waiting for a table at a condensed and crowded area near the door - I have to wonder how many who had been served have just simply walked out unnoticed. Not to mention having to wait for the server managing the cash register to return from seating new guests in order to make payment. I can't help but think that Ripples is still trying to find their feet, so to speak, and so we will return at a later date to compare experiences. Other than that, the dining was interesting from the "people watching" point of view and the food was acceptable. Service needs some work but the restaurant over all was ok and we rate it at a 3.5. P.S. I ordered a take out of the 1pound Ripples Burger for my son. He claims it was one of the best burgers he's ever had!

Yelp
Great foo and outstanding service by Christy! It was wonderful to eat with my family there.

Timothy M.

Yelp
While the atmosphere is trying to be high end and the waitstaff was attentive, the food was not good. I had chicken kabobs and water has more taste. I tried some of the pot roast and I make a tastier roast with just rootbeer and some seasoning. The table beside us was complaining about the ribs beijg tasteless as well. I always give a place a second chance to see if it was just an off day.

William T.

Yelp
Been here on four visits now and every time we had great attentive service!! All the wait staff helps each other, very much a team effort. The food was very good! Excellent presentation and portion sizes. Have had both breakfast and lunch and both did not disappoint! Will definitely be back again!!
