Where To Eat On The Near Main Line - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Ripplewood is a whiskey bar with over 200 selections. But it’s also a gastropub with not just some of the best bar food on the Main Line, but some of the best food on the Main Line, period. We love their rich chicken corn chowder, caesar salad with fried dressing bites, and one of the best burgers in town—a double patty topped with gouda, grilled red onion, and lebanon bologna. Cut out of work at 3pm for a Ripp happy hour, save it for a date night at the bar, or bring a big table of friends to try as many of their shareable plates as possible." - jonathan deutsch

Google
Excellent place for food and whiskey. Decent beer list, too. Menu is a little eclectic-bordering-on-strange.... But quality of food is on point. Loved the seafood cassoulet and pasta dishes. Beet salad and "spicy tuna roll" were less impressive. KILLER cocktails tho -- you cant go wrong with any of their rye concoctions.

Google
Great selection of freshly prepared and innovative food. Would definitely recommend the Mushroom Flatbread to share. Their “Fish & Chips” was delicious and boasted unique flavor combinations. Service is timely, and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing. Would come again if in the area.

I’ve wanted to try Ripplewood for a very long time and I’m so glad I did last night. It’s quite a drive for me, so I was hoping the experience was going to be worth it - it was everything and more! I sat in the back room, which was so nicely decorated, and the atmosphere was lively. My party split a bunch of appetizers and ordered the Capri Sun drink (which actually came in a pouch)! If you come to Ripplewood, the Parker house pretzel rolls and fries are a MUST. We also had the salmon croquettes and the mahi tacos which were fantastic as well. I will definitely be back!

Google
The upstairs bar is really quiet and gives a cool vibe for girls night or date night. Cocktails are amazing and the bartender Lo is incredible. Food could use some improvement - seems a bit overcomplicated and some portions aren't ideal but not bad. Overall an awesome spot for a night out. Will definitely be back!

Google
We haven’t eaten in the restaurant but we did door dash. Prices are outrageous. $25 salads with 5 springs of arugula. $11 pretzel roll. And a $25 delivery fee. Seriously? We aren’t cheap but this place is just ridiculous.

Google
Ripplewood is a cute restaurant/bar to eats at. The ambiance is good and the person who was playing music that day created a vibe. We decided to try the happy hour bartender draft choice which was cool and cheap and then sliders and fries. The sliders were ok but a little dry so i wouldn’t get them again. The fries were really good though. As for the service it was cool the server just seemed a little socially awkward but not in a way that interrupted anything just was a little awk lol overall I’m not mad at coming might try to return to try more of the main entrees

Google
My wife and I have been to this restaurant a few times now. The food is always delicious and the service is great. Multiple different seating areas (first floor or second and an outdoor area). This time we ordered the rippfries, wings, and wild mushroom flatbread. It did not disappoint, very delicious. Was too excited to eat it before taking photos 😂. The photos are not showing full portions.

Yelp
Ripplewood was mentioned on CBS MORNINGS today and I was so excited that I had to let others know...I am already a fan, but now I expect others will know too...CONGRATULATIONS...love this place

Yelp
We visited Ripplewood for dinner and it was excellent. Service, atmosphere, cool drinks and incredible meal. We didn't have a reservation so there was the shortest of waits. The downstairs with the bar is cool! When we were told our table was upstairs I was mildly bummed, but it was a nice atmosphere up there, too! Loved our visit to Ripplewood and would return for dinner, drinks, or both at the same time!

Yelp
My bf and I came here for an early Valentines dinner on a Saturday night. I was super excited to try this place out because I know the fries are super popular around the Main Line area, and as fry fanatics, we had to try it out. We sat in the very back of the first floor where it is less noisy and the vibes were comfortable. We ordered: - Ripp Fries: They were tasty but some fries got moist and soggy from being in top of one another. The sauce wasn't intriguing nor very tasty. I can see why it's popular, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order this again. - Baby Beef Ribs (from their special Super Bowl menu): A marker of good meat is when the meat falls easily off the bone. This was not that. Also, there was hardly any meat on the bones. My bf liked the broth that accompanied the meat though. - Mushroom Flatbread: This tastes similar to Trader Joe's frozen truffle flatbread. We found the dough to be too chewy and rough. - Captain Earl: A disappointment. This was something I can throw together at home myself. It tasted like orange juice with a splash of gin. Where's the flavor complexity? Where's the depth? Overall, I do like the energy of this restaurant and it's quite a romantic space; however, the food and drinks disappointed us because we had high expectations here. Unfortunately, I didn't have a favorite dish and cannot recommend others here in good faith.

Yelp
Ripplewood is a staple in the Ardmore dining scene having great food, drinks, service, and ambience. I usually go for drinks and apps, I haven't had an entree except for the burger which was quite tasty. My goto apps are the wings, Ripp fries, and the Parker house pretzel rolls. I've heard people love the brussel sprouts but it's far from one of my favorite veggies! The desserts look good and I can't wait to try the pina colada ice cream sandwich! Drinks are on point, bartenders are knowledgeable and the flair is top notch. I love that this place is associated with the Ardmore Music Hall and has this amazing Jerry Garcia artwork inside, check it out next time you're looking for dinner and drinks in Ardmore!
google avatar

Lexie K.

Yelp
Great location- next to Ardmore music hall Service is ok but slow. She was very nice but not attentive. 4 dining options- bar, patio, back dining room, or upstairs. Stairs are narrow and straight up. Hard for some people Caesar salad- fresh and crispy. With great parm crisps, the croutons are like a moz stick filled with dressing instead Brussels- good. Apple pairs well. Can't taste the bacon except for the few giant chunks. Needs something creamy to balance the acidity of the dish Fireside flip is not good. Too creamy and like a latte with a very sweet end Short ribs- so good. Tender and crunchy outside. Gnocchi- good but very chewy and dense. Not like a typical gnocci

Yelp
Excellent Gastropub! I absolutely love Ripplewood Whiskey! We sat on the porch, and it was a perfect night to enjoy the ambiance. What I appreciate about this place is that they don't take themselves too seriously with the decor, yet there's clearly an expert in the kitchen. The burger that stays on the menu is fantastic; the combination of onion jam and Lebanon bologna makes it the tastiest burger in town. We also tried their Ripp Fries topped with fondue, jalapeños, chipotle mayo, brisket, and pickled red onion. This is a sensational dish--comfort food taken to the max! My husband absolutely loved his Short Rib Campanelle, dressed with roasted garlic cream, baby kale, haricot vert, and pickled long hots. I had a bite, and it was delicious! Our service was great, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, Ripplewood Whiskey is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful gastropub experience!

Yelp
I love Ripplewood. It's not only a great bar but the food is really so good! I've had dinner in the restaurant before but when I go (quite often) I prefer to sit at the bar. All the bartenders are awesome. They are attentive and great to chat with. The vibes at the bar are chill and the music selection (sometimes 90s hip hop), is right up my alley. The creativity of the drinks is impressive. Not only are they creative but they so good. I've had the Ripp Fries many times. You can never to wrong with the fries. Yum!! I've also had the Wings before. Also Yum! This time I had the Birria Bao Buns, Mahi Tacos and the Brussel Sprouts. The Bao Buns are so light and fluffy. The Birria is seasoned so well and is so tender. The mild heat from the peppers is nice. I'm a huge fan of cilantro and it is a perfect compliment to the Birria. The Mahi Tacos came out and looked like a taquito so I wasn't sure at first but the appearance does nothing for the goodness that is inside the tortilla. And I actually appreciated how it was rolled up., it made it so easy to eat. No mess and nothing falling out the taco. The Brussel Sprouts have a nice surprise with the slices of apple mixed in. The apples add a sweet complement to cut the bitterness of the brussel sprouts. A very thoughtful pairing. I'd highly recommend Ripplewood for drinks, dinner, bar food or just dessert (which is also very good!). You can't go wrong.

Yelp
Stopped by here for dinner on the way to see a show at the Ardmore Music Hall next door. The menu has a good selection of food, and I would HIGHlY recommend a large order of the Ripp fries.

Yelp
Went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was great. Drinks were delicious and we both enjoyed our meals

Yelp
This place is an absolute L, pretentious millennial, overpriced, and mid. Weird ingredients that simply do not work with each other, that were obviously thrown together to sound fancy. This place has gone downhill. We had the smash burger the gnocchi and the surf and turf and were disappointed by them all. L + ratio + bozo, give me my money back...
google avatar

Natalie L.

Yelp
Delicious snacks and drinks with friends! Really cool atmosphere and it was popping on a Saturday night but we found seats at the bar. We had the wings (SPICY but great!), loaded brisket fries, mahi tacos (best fish tacos I've had to be honest) and cheesesteak Bao. Will definitely go again :)
google avatar

Alan J.

Yelp
Really enjoyed myself here. Fast and friendly service. Knowledge professor type from the bartenders. I had a great old fashioned. Or two or three. lol. Also the surf and turf bao buns. They started off sweet and finished with a fire. Still a little hungry I had the paella croquettes. Topped the night off with Panna Cotta. Simply melt in the mouth. If only coffee tasted that good, I might drink coffee. Just a right blend of serious food and drink that suits this area so well.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
Rounded up to 5 stars because the burger is so good. The three seating areas are comfortable although the heated outdoor patio can be chilly if the weather is not cooperative. The menu offers interesting variations on typical bar fare. The wings are outstanding and the slice of Lebanon Bologna makes the burger a reason to return. The restaurant is popular and the service can be hurried.

Yelp
Ripplewood was off the chain good. Not on the chain, way off the chain. Right in the heart of downtown, it's a great little spot that offers small plates, shareables, and larger plates. Service was top notch and the whiskey selection was perfect. What we snagged: - Brisket Bao Buns (The best dish all night) - Mahi Mahi Tacos (Great flavor) - Grilled Shrimp - Prosciutto Flatbread (VERY good) We loved it here. Will 100% come back with friends and family. Whiskey was great too. They have great cocktail selections and even mock tails for my non-drinking wife.
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great staff and service and awesome food and drinks. Absolutely loved the cacio e pepe- seasonally flavored with butternut squash. Don't miss the loaded fries, the various bao buns or their awesome pistachio olive oil cake.
google avatar

Yelp
Returning to Ripplewood never gets old. It is a local delight & full of delicious bites always. Highlights for sure are the grilled shrimp, salads, cocktails & the Brussels are not to be missed. The best you will find anywhere!!!!!

Yelp
Where everybody knows your name One of those places where you'll be a regular at with its effortless cool and cozy ambiance, and the best playlist (rock and alternative). It's a city hangout outside of the city. The food is always quality, with Americana comfort food and amazing drinks. I'd recommend specifics, but everything is delicious. The bar staff are some of the best - and they're so friendly. Although the prices might say "higher end," it is, but the value is worth it. The chef is regularly switching up the menu with imaginative and seasonal dishes. But there's also small plates if you're not feeling the bigger price tags! (Not the best happy hour tho, as the timeframe is for people who don't work a 9-5 and the happy hour drink/food selection is scarce. It used to be one of the best, but I get that it's probably tough to offer that kinda selection in this economy). It's a build-your-own-experience, but no matter what you order, you'll leave happy. They're good people.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. Definitely craft food for the area. Huge selection of whiskey. A bit dark inside but I stopped by for a quick meal and a drink and was not disappointed. I ate at the bar and the service was excellent.

Dan K.

Yelp
We've been to Ripplewood a couple of times. The food, drinks , and service are good. It was a cold evening this last time and their back patio was very cold.
google avatar

Joan L.

Yelp
The staff is friendly. It's good to make reservations in advance, as it does get full even on a weeknight. When I went, the staff directed us upstairs, and the majority of the space got filled with musicians - probably after their show. You could probably rent it for a private occasion. I didn't get a lot here, just the fries, and it was amazing.
google avatar

Tara V.

Yelp
This place is so good. As always, their knowledge of gluten free options is top notch. They're very accommodating and I've never had a bad meal there. It's a creative menu, preparation is beautiful, service is efficient and friendly. Reservations are a must but you might be able to secure a seat at the bar. The outside porch is tolerable even in colder weather. the food is worth the trip but the real winner is that these are real service industry professionals. They know their menu, they know their wine and beer and it's a consistently great experience. They also get you in and out if you want to see a show at the music hall next door.
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic service and food- The hummus, charred octopus and Parker house bread were absolutely highlights. With that said, the mushroom flatbread is a can't miss.
google avatar

Samantha P.

Yelp
Cool environment & great drinks. Both the downstairs & upstairs are worth checking out. I haven't had the food since I'm a vegetarian & it was fairly meat heavy. However, looks delicious!

ilene W.

Yelp
Ripplewood is my go to for an excellent meal, warm and welcoming service and -- most importantly -- my food allergies are carefully addressed. I cannot have soybean oil / vegetable oil and most restaurants in the neighborhood use in their foods. I can comfortable eat AND share plates with friends with confidence. I also appreciate how Michael welcomes us everytime with a big smile as do the servers. We recently celebrated my birthday with a friend who shares a birthday with me. Every time we bring friends they rave
google avatar

Yelp
I came here since friends have recommended this place. The reviews claim food like "Michelin" star food. Last night was not what I expected from the food at all. Upon arrival my water glass was dirty. Our waitress was super kind and even checked on the specials that they had. We ordered the following: pretzel bun with truffle butter, paella croquettes, the burger with RIPP fries and the braised short rib. The pretzel bun held up to everyone reviews! The paella croquettes were served cold the first time around and had to be sent back. Both times I did not see any rock shrimp. It was not bad if served correctly. The burger with ripp fries. The ripp fries were delicious perfectly crisp and the burger was okay. The sauce and lettuce was on the bottom bun and it came out soggy. Lastly, the braised short rib. I felt like I was drinking oil with how much oil there was in the dish. Also the amount of onions was ridiculous. The mushroom idea added to the risotto was phenomenal but wish it wasn't drenched in oil. The ambiance in the back dining room is nice. You will have to use your phone light to see the menu. The garden area for dining in the middle is lovely. The bar had plenty of seats. We also were able to get a seat without reservations. I give this place a 3 for the waitress, vibe and pretzel bun. Also with how busy it was the wait staff did their best to accommodate all tables.

Yelp
Everything went well. The place will offer you tasty food and well-balanced cocktails. We enjoyed our service. Expect to be surrounded by people because the place is quite popular, and I hope it will stay this way.

Karen H.

Yelp
Delicious food and solid cocktails. We had the Parker House Rolls, asparagus, Birria Bao Buns, Surf and Turf Bao Buns, and Zucchini Fries. Then, because we just had to, the Brookie & The Snickers Bar for dessert. We will be back and we will bring friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place for a good whiskey based drink. They also have the best fresh cut fries and hamburgers. And some peruvian dishes.

Yelp
I finally got to try The Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft in Ardmore. Super cute outside inside area. Standouts were the Grilled Halloumi and the Asparagus Parm and the blackened cobia filet. The halloumi should have more plums and skip the shishitos. The corn and crab Rangoon has a little spice kick to it but so tasty. I wouldn't change a thing on the asparagus parm. The filet was so so amazing. The pina colada was super chilled. You can skip the fried chicken and definitely skip the 75th element. The chicken had no taste and was over fried. The 75th element was bitter. Would definitely come back for the Halloumi and the asparagus parm. GRILLED HALOUMI - shishitos, grilled plum, prosciutto, adjika CORN & CRAB RANGOON - mango/habanero salsa, jalapeño, cream cheese ASPARAGUS PARM - smoked tomato, cooper sharp cheese, crispy shallot BLACKENED COBIA FILET coconut rice, mango, pineapple salsa, pistachio FRIED CHICKEN - barbeque baked beans, cornbread, pan drippings PIÑA COLADA - rum, coconut, pineapple, more rum THE 75TH ELEMENT - hendrick's gin, campari, basil, prosecco

Yelp
I was looking for a new spot to try and am so happy I found Ripplewood Whiskey and Craft. I was by myself and sat at the bar. Looks like they have an outdoor space, which would have been nice if not for the heat wave. Nice space, like the bar setup and the lights. There is a small parking lot right next to the place but there was still some street parking for a Saturday night and on the side street, and no meter after 6pm. I ordered the Charred Octopus and the Mahi Mahi Tacos, both were delicious. The octopus was a strip on top of greens with apple, or pear maybe, smoked tomatoes, and ricotta. First time I've had a combo like that with octopus and it was a nice surprise. The octopus was nicely cooked too. The tacos were wrapped rather than folded. I think the use of plantain shell and the chipotle mayo is what made this so good. Great flavor with both apps, and filling for one person, but there is always room for dessert. And oh my God, the blueberry panna cotta was the perfect ending! I would have licked that dish clean, that's how much I loved the taste of that panna cotta. Panna cotta is not usually my first choice but I knew the blueberries would enhance the flavor. And the butterfly was a nice addition. Already told the husband we need to go for dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been a minute since we've been back but the food and service are still outstanding. The latest cocktail list is terrific. And the food is never less than outrageously good. And not to sound like a creeper but the bar staff is soooo easy on the eyes!
google avatar

Payal P.

Yelp
Located right next to Ardmore Music Hall is this whiskey/craft bar. The place offers pretty good food for a craft bar. I got a Manhattan which was done very well. I also got a bowl of Brussels sprouts which was pretty crispy.
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
I first went there as it was in proximity to my wife's business and that's Bernie's hair studio right there in Ardmore and I have to tell you it is an amazing little joint the food. The drinks are good. The selection is wonderful. The vibe is high energy would go back there tomorrow.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Delicious food. Outstanding service. Sat in back room which was a lovely area. Everything on the menu is superior.
google avatar

Lewin B.

Yelp
I love this place! I've been there many times, and never once had a problem. The food is excellent, the service is as well and it's nice to have a place of this high-quality on the main line. The food is creative and modern, and you will definitely leave very satisfied and full!

Yelp
My sister took me here while I was visiting her in PA. She had been here before and doesn't go out much but said the food is pretty good. I was pretty disappointed with things though. While the pretzel bread was delicious, and we enjoyed the birria Bao buns, the blood orange salad was bitter and we barely ate any of it except for the burrata. The octopus was rubbery. My sister did not like the phony Negroni one bit and only had a few sips. She's too polite to send things back so there goes $12 for a mocktail. The only thing I absolutely loved was the snickers bar dessert. We paid a lot for food that was honestly hit or miss. Our poor server was too busy and had far too many tables to handle. The manager and the busser assisted at least so that helped. Not sure we'd go back here. I'd prefer a $15 cheesesteak anyplace else. They get points for the ambience and snickers bar.
google avatar

Yelp
I dislike giving bad reviews...but this was awful. I've been to Ripplewood twice. First time was great, but the second time( Saturday night) the little covered patio section they had was rampant with mice... There were no visible bait traps or anything. I counted probably like 10 mice...which got super close to our table (they were used to people). obviously didn't stay long or finish my drink which was good from the few sips I had. I know there's construction close by... but there should be some measures taken for pest control. The bar should have comped the drinks but nothing was offered at close out. The waiter acknowledged the issue but that was it. This is a tough situation...but something that desperately needs attention.
google avatar

Dario S.

Yelp
Have had brunch and dinner here multiple times. Food was delicious, although took a while to make it to the table. Service was very friendly, my biggest complaint is the decor, feels very lifeless on the top floor than it does at the entrance.
google avatar

Gillian V.

Yelp
My sister picked this place for her birthday and it was our first time going. The food was decent, and the place itself it's very cool. The waitress was nice and the food coming was pretty quick for our size of party. It's a little expensive for the portion sizes but if you have the money the food was delicious.
google avatar

Laura V.

Yelp
Cute little spot in Ardmore! Love the patio! Food was really good!! Spicy tuna and Burrata were delicious! My husband had the fried chicken and said it was great! He also had the ripp fries which were insanely good! The servers are fantastic! Super friendly and the service in general was top notch. Will 100% be back!
google avatar

Dan K.

Yelp
Ripplewood is just fantastic. We came here on a Friday for seating on the back patio with a 4pm reservation. Note that you definitely need a reservation for outdoor seating on a weekend! The back patio was a lovely covered space with heat lamps which made for a very cozy atmosphere. We started off with the knob creek house bourbon which was fantastic. The bouquet has great longevity and the flavor is really smooth. Sweet but not syrupy. The real slam dunk here is are the "for the table" and "shareable" plates. We enjoyed the pretzeled Parker house rolls, spinach and artichoke dip, wings, ricotta toast, and wild mushroom flatbread. The house rolls are a sort of Challah bread with a yummy cheese sauce. The flatbread was delicious as well. The ricotta bread was my least favorite of the bunch but the bread was outstanding. Artichoke dip had nice big chunks of artichoke and plenty of spinach that made it feel almost healthy in a good way. The wings though. Oh my lord were the wings good. Maybe the best wings I've ever had? Super crisp skin and flavorful meat. I recommend getting sauce on the side and trying it both with and without their homemade hot sauce. Ricotta donuts for desert were really interesting. They're donut balls and come with chocolate and blueberry sauce. Super delicious. We also appreciate Ripplewoods social distancing, mask wearing, and temperature screening efforts - still taking the pandemic appropriately seriously in PA as things are opening up. Adrienne was a wonderful host for us and gave great whisky recommendations!

Yelp
I was not impressed. The food was not that good. The place was nice and the servers but that's about it.

Shannon B.

Yelp
My server was so attentive to detail. He was incredibly courteous, even helping me make a substitution with my salad. Thank you Cole!! Other than that, my food and drink were delicious- but the service and ambiance is really what made the meal.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
Food and drinks were excellent! I really liked the ambiance. Not one thing that we had was bad. Would go back again!

Yelp
Food, whiskey, service continues to be good. This is a great little spot if you want to get away from the Industrial Revolution of Tired Hands.
google avatar

Cara L.

Yelp
Good drinks! Bartenders are very nice and helpful! I absolutely loved the alcoholic drink that came in a juice bag(?) reminding me of capri sun. Very fun! A bit pricey. Nice, laid back environment.

Shannon M.

Yelp
Great cocktail selection and apps. We sat on the patio on a rainy day and were very comfortable!

Donna M.

Yelp
It was our first time here so We decided to do an assortment of shareables. We had the calamari, bao buns, spare ribs, shrimp, and crispy rice and tuna. They were all super delicious. They were all delicious!! We also had the Guinness dessert drink with the ricotta doughnuts. They were both ridiculously good!!

Yelp
Ripplewood is one of those spaces where I was waiting to enjoy a dinner and drinks experience that I've inevitably been slacking on before Covid-19 turned it into a harder to do experience. But since they provided the incredible Thanksgiving meal complete with CHOCOLATE BOURBON PECAN PIE that my family indulged upon, I have another incredible experience to add on to the drinks and brunch that I experienced prior to this amazing feast. When Ripplewood first showed signs of opening, it immediately showed signs of being that city worthy burger and whiskey bar that I wanted to see come to the Main Line for so many decades. But it officially opening when I moved back to Philly inevitably made it something that I could only enjoy on very rare occasions. But on the occasions that I did stop in, I was instantly wowed by the two floor indoor/outdoor dining space, the incredibly well rounded drink and food menu, and the spot on amicable service that my group received. My first visit was a bit of a blur since I stopped in to catch up with some friends for one of their birthdays after a very successful Tired Hands UYE that I hosted (may the 7th one come in 2021 - https://www.yelp.com/events/ardmore-tired-hands-uye-6-0). But I instantly fell in love with their well-rounded beer list, and the fact that you could order different variations of the city wide special (now understandably limited to just one during their limited Covid-19 dining experience for now) which included one that had a draft beer and a Fernet-Branca. But I also enjoyed their bourbon punch while making note of their other decadent sounding cocktails like their old fashioned with barrel-aged Elijah Craig whiskey, honey, and bitters. For my second visit, I took my fam out for a Father's Day brunch special occasion, and we were instantly enamored by the upstairs dining experience and the hard-working server upstairs who took extra time to make spot-on recommendations despite being understandably swamped. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wild mushroom flatbread with asparagus cream, truffles, and egg yolk; and the Ripp Fries with fondue, jalapeno, and BRISKET that we ordered for apps. And their brisket omelette that's topped off with cheddar, mushrooms, and caramelized onions is a definite contender for one of the best omelets I've ever had! For this year's Thanksgiving meal my fam and I knew we wanted to support a local restaurant without dining out, and the Philadelphia Inquirer's article tuned us in to the incredible meal deal that Ripplewood had to offer (https://www.inquirer.com/food/restaurants-thanksgiving-philadelphia-takeout-dinner-reservations-2020-turkey-stuffing-20201109.html). Our Lancaster fresh turkey came complete with house-made cranberry sauce, pretzel style rolls, gravy, a full fall harvest salad, that INCREDIBLE pie, and 2 very boozy punches! In addition to that we had the hard but delish task of choosing between 4 out of 8 amazing sounding sides(https://ripplewoodbar.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Thanksgiving-2020.pdf), and were very satisfied by the following: Roasted fingerling sweet potatoes: potatoes that were perfect for dessert with their five-spice marshmallow and maple pecan crumble! Haricot vert casserole: Their green bean casserole might have not came with that French fried onion crunch that you're used to with your home version. But it still satisfied with its crispy shallots and mixed wild mushrooms! Truffled mac & cheese: complete with caved aged cheddar, mushrooms, and Mornay sauce. So good! Roasted Brussel sprouts: made the best way with maple bacon and balsamic! With this amazing feast, we still have some delicious food for days! But once I'm done I definitely have renewed reason to finally give them a shot for that dinner and drink filled occasion, and that's still easily obtainable during Covid-19 with their limited indoor and outdoor patio dining that's kept very safe and responsible (You can even order food online through Door Dash, etc. if that understandably isn't your jam right now). But once this is over I also might have another UYE spot to set up for the future!
