Updated Review: Been here a couple of times. I dined here recently and it was a great experience other than the long wait for our food. When we checked in at the counter then wait was about 10 minutes. They were seating people quickly. I also liked that there's outdoor seating. Our servers name was Serena and she was really nice. Food: Bread Cup Short Stack Old Fashioned The Ultimate Rob Eye Steak with 3 Eggs The bread cup was ok. The top was delicious and fluffy then the bottom was a bit too moist and seemed undercooked. The pancakes were so good. I ordered it with the whip cream on the side. It's was really tasty. Lastly, the Rib Eye was cooked perfectly and it was seasoned well. Man, eating it with A1 Sauce just brought me back to my younger years. This is a great spot for weekend brunch. ‐-------------Old Review------ Long over due. This review was sitting in my drafts. Stopped by for Sunday Brunch. Great spot and easy parking. I had the French Toast. It was devine, sweet and it hit the spot. Service was good.

Amazing service from Amy! Food was also great. We tried the Texas French toast and ribeye steak with eggs. Huge portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Their bloody Mary's are a bit spicier and more sour than other places, but that's the way I like it! We were very impressed. Our steak was cooked perfectly and Amy did an awesome job anticipating our needs.

Wow this place didn’t disappoint! I recommended this spot to our friends and after looking at more pictures I was kinda regretting it (it didn’t look appetizing). Once I took my first bite that all changed! Never judge a book by its cover!! The chicken was extremely juicy. The garlic fries were amazing and I’m still thinking of them right now. The biscuit with gravy was so fresh. To top off the amazing food the red velvet pancakes were delightful! Highly recommend!!!

Let me just say THIS lol. This was our first time eating here eating at Rise and Shine. We just moved to Las Vegas a couple of months ago. I have been looking for a good place for breakfast. Well TODAYYYY was the day 😁. Yall when I say the food was FIRE, OMG. I had the French Toast Plate, my husband had the Pork and Egg Chilaquiles, my son had the Grill Cheese and fries ( he ate his plate before I could even get a picture lol ). Everything was BOMB. The flavors were on POINT. Let me not get started on our Waiter Shanon who was also amazing. He treated us with the upmost respect, greeted us right away, made sure we had everything prior to eating, and checked up on us from time to time. When I tell yall that we will be going back. I highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you are looking for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or whatever lol. I can’t wait to take my oldest daughter. I know she will be in love just like me 😁😊

The atmosphere is open and friendly. The waitstaff is dressed in PJ’s (very cute) and they have lots of GF and Vegetarian options. (Menu is clearly marked)

Great service and atmosphere! Out food was out really quick and our waitress was really attentive. The food is so delicious too. I love coming here when I am in town & would recommend trying at least once.

As a native Texan, I must say that was one of the best homemade chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. The gravy was delicious. The chicken fried steak was crunchy and light and the steak was well marinated so it was just wonderful. I had french fries that were garlic herb, very posh and tasty. The service was very attentive and genuine. The restaurant is beautifully adorned and I would definitely come back here again on my next trip to Vegas.

I'm back to update my review from 2 years ago! I'm happy to say, their French toast has improved and I have not had an issue with soggy French toast! I really like how they offer a half order option. I tried their BYO parfait with a strawberry sauce and granola. I loved it! I also want to say thank you for not using fat free plain yogurt. The strawberry sauce tastes like it's made in house, but I could be wrong. They have updated the decor; it's still cute and on theme! Staff is friendly and normally quick with service. We'll continue to come back!

This establishment is decorated nicely. Good variety of delicious food. You want to keep it light and order a smoothie they got you! You want a hearty steak and eggs plate, they have it and it's good. You feel like having a bloody mary go for it! I had a virgin bloody mary that was so tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, even on this busy Sunday morning. They even have egg whites for my lil sister. We will be back.

This was my first time eating at Rise & Shine - A Steak & Egg Place on Southern Highlands Parkway, and I know I will return time and time again! The restaurant was decorated in a really comfortable, in easy on the eyes, way. A flower theme in apricot and avocado green colors that made our dining experience very calming. Our server, Reno, was exceptional - attentive, friendly & efficient. Nick, who was prepping things from behind the counter by our table, had a big smile and was very friendly. I loved how the attire theme of all the staff was avocado wear - avocado printed pajamas or shirts. Between the menu and avocado theme, I felt the food options were very healthy, making ordering easy for me. The Lavazza coffee was tasty and hot, which was much-needed. My omelette and hash browns were fluffy, delicious , and not a bit oily. I also enjoyed the bread cup that came on the side, having the option to eat it plain, or with the side of icing that came with it. Truly, Rise & Shine - A Steak & Egg Place provided healthier eating options all around. I would highly recommend eating here, you will not be disappointed!

My husband, two of my grown children and myself are brunch at Rise & Shine-A Steak & Egg Place in Las Vegas near Flamingo Road on my birthday (September 21). It was delicious. Our server was friendly, attentive and efficient. He kept us hydrated throughout our time there. They serve LaVazza Coffee there. I love this brand of coffee. I ordered the half size serving of French toast with bacon. The French toast was delicious with powdered sugar and whipped cream and the syrup was warm! My husband's eggs and bacon were cooked just right. My son ordered the sampler plate and he enjoyed the pancakes, bacon and eggs. My daughter ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with bacon. The breakfast was delicious. It was a great meal with my family and combined with good food-the memories we made can't be forgotten. We will return in the future.

We randomly chose to come here for breakfast and are already dreaming of our next stop here! We wanted to try somewhere new and had seen this place a couple of times. We thought we would try it out and see. We went at 9am on a Saturday and were seated immediately as a party of 2. However, with a group of 6 more there could be a wait. The spot is so cool with neat decor and fun music and the waitresses are wearing pajamas! We were immediately greeted by our waitress Amy who was a bright personality and happy to assist since we were first timers. I knew I had to try the mimosa flight because for $14 and trying all three flavors - who could beat it! I ordered the cheese omelette and my husband ordered the ultimate rib eye. My eggs and potatoes were delicious and he said his steak was cooked perfectly as were the eggs. Now the real excitement is the cup o' bread - do not sleep on this!! IT IS INCREDIBLE! It's basically cinnamon roll bread with the icing to dip. We really enjoyed our first stop here and look forward to future visits!

Been going to Rise & Shine for 9 years & I definitely recommend it but I don't recommend the chilaquiles. There's no salsa on them at all, as you can see from the picture. They haven't been the best but now they are just nachos. Everything else on their menu is good. If you want a strong martini I recommend the vodka espresso martini

This place is my favorite. I can't believe I haven't reviewed them yet. Favorite brunch place in Vegas thus far. We are never disappointed when we visit this establishment. Everyone is friendly- service is good - the avocado pajamas give the place a fun vibe.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots, the service is always good and food typically comes out quickly. The food is amazing, and I love the chilaquiles every time! Everyone else really enjoyed their dishes and I sampled a little of everyone's and it was delicious! I usually get the cup bread because it is to die for, but opted for a coffee instead. I love the vibes here, all the staff are in pajamas and it's just very fun!!

Rise & Shine absolutely lives up to its name! This weekend, I had a fantastic breakfast experience there and I gotta spread the word. First off, let's talk about the bread in the cup. Don't let the simplicity fool you! This warm, inviting little side was surprisingly delicious. It was the perfect comfort food to start my day, soft and steamy. Exactly what I needed! Next up, the chilaquiles. Wow! This dish was seriously hearty. The portion size was generous, enough to easily share (but hey, no judgement if you devour it all yourself, like me!). I ended up taking half home and it was even delicious reheated while I worked. I also can't forget to mention the watermelon strawberry refresher. It was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, a great way to cut through the richness of the chilaquiles. On top of the amazing food, the service at Rise & Shine was fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. This place definitely has a welcoming vibe, perfect for a solo breakfast or a family outing. Overall, Rise & Shine is a total winner. Delicious food, great service, and a perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out!

Really like the restaurant, the decor is great the wait staff wears pajama sets, and the food is fantastic with great portions. The pot of bread is delicious and the chicken fried steak is a must try!

I love Vegas but so many people don't venture out past the strip. The Strip has awesome food too, but I LOVE this little diner south of the Strip: Rise and Shine, a steak and egg place. I stumbled on this restaurant a year ago on my last visit to Vegas looking for coffee. They truly do have the best French press coffee that I've ever had!!! I loved the decor the last time. Needless to say, they changed the decor & it's adorable still. The French press coffee is still on the mark though! Service is awesome too! They are friendly and accommodating to requests. Highly recommend them to anyone willing to get away from the Strip for great food, fantastic service, and good prices. I read a review where it was discussed about the new uniforms. It was a bit of a shocker to see green avocado uniforms, but I think they are cute and stylish. They are clean and they cover the body. I come here for food, coffee, service, and cleanliness. It's not fair to a location to judge them by their attire when it's appropriate.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Las Vegas. I usually only order their chilaquiles! Coffee always tastes so fresh and so good. In the past, they would let me sub the beans for hash browns on the chilaquiles but not anymore. Wish they'd let us do that. I wouldn't mind paying more for the hash browns either. Great service every time. I also miss the old plates!

While vacationing in Vegas we found this location not too far from the strip where we were staying. The restaurant made me feel like I was at mom's house for breakfast. Most of us ordered the feta avacado toast (see picture below) and salmon avacado toast. The food was amazing!!!! We recommend you try them, you will not be disappointed. The fresh orange juice was delicious as was the flight of mimosas. Our server Cary was amazing. She was attentive and kept coming by our table to make sure we didn't need anything else. The location was easy to get to with ample parking. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable.

This place has totally gone downhill! Everytime I give this place another chance, it is another disapointment again. I went there during the week around 1:30 p.m. and there were only four tables filled with more servers than needed. Our server was not attentive and too busy chit-chattting with the other employees. My friend's burger and fries looked disgusting and he said he was horrid. My salad was very skimpy and not as I ordered. My toast was not fully cooked. I refuse to go back to this place again. Horrid experience! Too many other breakfast places to go to now. I highly recommend Weiss Deli or the Omlete House in Henderson!

Everyone wears pajamas!!! 5/5 for this establishment as we had our best vegas breakfast experience as compliments of Reno and his staff. My fiancée and I had the country fried steak and eggs, as well as the home made Corned beef hash. We were given choice of the cup o bread as made famous on tik tok so we had to try it. Here's the review: Country fried steak and eggs: 5/5 -simply, the fact that my steak wasn't smothered is enough to tell you that you have the choice of smothering it to your liking, or just dipping piece by piece, paired with some delicious sourdough, it made me happy! I have never had someone ask me the specifications of my over medium eggs like Reno did for the whites on my egg, so it left us in shock as we customized so much of our meal to really show the attention to detail this place does for their clients. Corned beef hash: 5/5 -the fact this was corned beef hash, not just canned fake stuff, left it to a crispy experience from Reno's recommendation. Reno made the perfect recommendation to add cheese; asked my fiancée if she'd like the potatoes crispy, and made the experience just an amazing one with his willingness to make sure we had the best first impression Cup o bread: 6/5 -slightly sweet; and dipped perfectly into a syrup experience you don't get from even a Cinnabon. That speaks a lot, as I LOVE Cinnabon.... Great job. Overall, my compliments to the chef, the staff, and please get Reno a year end bonus. We heard he was the man, so now we're making the same recommendation to everyone else. Go to this restaurant and see what the hype is all about.

We found the restaurant on yelp. I wanted to try the cup of bread and it was awesome. Freshly baked. Reno was an excellent server. Very friendly and fast service. Our meal was delicious and can't wait to try again next time we are in Henderson. Fun decorations.

Such a cute brunch spot! The menu offers so much variety. I had an avocado toast with smoked salmon. It was quite filling and they did not skimp on the avocado and salmon. Do get their "cup a bread". It is a light version of cinnamon roll baked in a cup with a dip on the side. Service was great. Loved the ambience and the theme where the staff's uniform are pajamas. Would come back again when we are in town.

This establishment was suggested by our cousins who we were visiting for the weekend. Stepping inside the decor was so cute! The staff were very accommodating for our group and there was no rushing for our party to order. There was a great menu provided I wanted to try everything in each section offered but ended up getting the egg white steak omelette with the cup of bread which I would order more of because it was so delicious and highly addicting as well as a half stack of red velvet pancakes. Would definitely come again to try more of the menu and get more of the cup of bread which could be described as a butter soft cinnamon roll.

Thus is the second Rise and Shine Eatery location that we've tried. This location is definitely in the cut, way outside of main Vegas, more towards Red Rock. The decor is quaint in a different way than the other location. Staff was busy, but friendly. We got seated right away. The menu is diverse and plentiful with multiple options in each of the key breakfast categories. I chose the "traditional" avocado toast topped with a fried egg and a green smoothie. My friend chose the strawberry shortcake waffle and a carrot smoothie. All was amazing! Avocado today had a whole avocado cut up across it, covered with feta cheese, tomatoes, and pesto and arugula. Both smoothies were delicious as expected and very refreshing. The strawberry waffle had fresh strawberries on top and strawberry purée baked into the batter. We couldn't stop "Oohh'ing". Lol! The prices are reasonable, not Denny's cheap and not Bellagio extreme, especially for the quality, the service, and the portions.

This place keeps on shining! Every time I've gone, the food is great. Super nice servers and atmosphere and always busy. If you go too late in the morning, you'll definitely have a wait. Huge fan, and I'll keep going back!

I've DoorDashed breakfast from here twice in the last week; Chef's Kiss. Five stars all the way. That is because, in part, I ordered things that "travel" well. The bone-in ham steak is huge. It serves three and doesn't get soggy, can be eaten when it's not just hot off the grill. It had grill marks and smoky flavor / smell. It came with eggs. Choose scrambled, because they also travel well. The Hash Browns travel well. Wrapped up the meal with an English Muffin. They don't butter it, so it too travels well. I've learned to order one Bone-In Ham Steak breakfast. Hubby and I share it. But we can only eat 2/3 of the ham. That leaves protein for me to snack on throughout the rest of the day / evening, whenever I become a bit peckish.

Super cute little restaurant. We stopped here on the way home from Vegas. It's just off the strip. I would highly recommend it. The ambience is so cute. I'll attach some photos. I wish I would've gotten photos of the steak that me and my son shared. I forgot to take a picture before we started devouring it. it was plenty of food for the both of us and it came with this thing called cup of bread that was out of this world make sure to order extra cream cheese sauce fabulous cute little place. I recommend this place! My friends and I (a group of 10) went on a Sunday morning for brunch. It did take a little while to get seated since it was busy and Mother's day but once we did, service was great and pretty fast. Food came out quicker than we all expected given our party size but everyone enjoyed what they got. The Oreo chocolate chip cookie pancake was delicious though I could only eat one cause they were massive. My friends enjoyed their steaks and benefits as well as the country fried steak. The servers were attentive and really nice, giving our group great vibes even though we were all still recovering from the night before. Parking is spacious since the plaza is big and there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.

Came in during the week to try a new place. The waitress was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave her recommendations on their new avo toast menu. Glad we listened bc the balsamic and pesto went soooooo well together. The ribeye dish was very juicy and seasoned well. Would recommend to family and friends. You won't be disappointed.

This place is good, so plan on waiting for a table if it's on the weekend. We went on a Sunday around 10:00 am and waited around 20 minutes. The staff all wear pajamas, which we thought was funny - but more importantly, the food is good. From the name, I felt I must try the steak and eggs - did not disappoint. Steak was seasoned well and cooked as requested - plate was huge so I had plenty of leftovers. We tried a side of the biscuit and gravy which was also really good, and I recommend you ask them about the "Cup-o-Bread" ... you'll see what I mean. We will be back for sure!

Quite awful. Coffee first came and it was cold and bitter, informed the waitress and she brought back a scalding hot bitter cup (pretty sure she just added hot water from the tea tap to the old cup). My brother asked for herbal tea recommendations and she had none. From start to finish the waitress showed no enthusiasm for guests, only for texting multiple times in between orders. The steak and chorizo burrito had decent flavor , but not enough steak in my opinion. Ultimately very let down to waste a holiday breakfast opportunity on an underwhelming experience, especially in a city where there are so many great options. Will never come back.

The menu is extensive and the wait staff are AWESOME!! Breakfast was unbelievable and so darn tasty! I just moved into the area so I know I'll be visiting more often to try the menu. I usually stick to a few items that I love but with this menu I'm ready to break out of my comfort zone and go to town. I'll be back a soon enough as it's only 5 minutes down the road from my house.

Hubby & I came here for breakfast & we loved it! I got the ham bone in & eggs & wow that was a huge piece of ham! I loved it! Hubby got the rib eye & he loved it as well! Service was fast! Ordered chicken and waffle. The rest of the guys had banana foster, veggie omelet and New York steak. Food was excellent and Chloe (hope I spelled that right) was our server and took excellent care of us . Steak was reported to be great and chicken and waffle was phenomenal. Regret not getting the banana foster waffle.

Eaten there when we first moved to Las Vegas. Been going back ever since. The chilaquiles is the best in town I believe. Try it for yourself. Staff is always friendly and helpful if you have questions about the menu. Their cup of bread is great as well.

If we could give 10 stars we would! Wife and I were visiting family for the weekend, sister recommended this gem and we were seriously impressed! Cute diner vibe. Staff was super friendly, always on top of anything we needed, good advice on what to try. And the food...WOWSA! Highlight was the ultimate ribeye, it's a breakfast steak so it was thin and I was nervous when it came out. But I was floored to see a perfect medium throughout, legit from an actual grill and seasoned with some from the gods level coffee flavored rub. Chef's kiss! Everything was so good we went back again the next day!

Such a great place! A girlfriend and I found this place after an event at the M Resort. Loved all the staff wearing their PJs, the decor on the ceiling and the colors of the booths. Really appreciated all the options for vegan and gluten free folks. Food was fresh and delicious and the staff was super friendly. Will 100% be back next time I'm in the area!

Cozy and familiar atmosphere. We tried the cup bread which is a warm less sweet cinnamon bun with cream cheese sauce that also wasn't overly sweet. The loco moco was absolutely stacked: burger patty was extra beefy as it's a steak burger, plenty of fluffy rice, spam fried to good texture. My girl got the French toast and they have a unique cinnamon crunch texture on top which really took it to another level. For the price, quality, and portion, I'm coming back here every time I go to Vegas

Was in town for my birthday and came at the insistence of a friend to eat "Bread in a Cup". Apparently its the Bee's Knees". Gotta say, it wasn't bad. I enjoyed the ambiance and how the serves are dressed in pajamas; Neat touch.. Server was nice; pretty no nonsense, straight to the point, and HONEST. Told us she wouldn't let us order a full stack even if we wanted to and I soon understood why...the pancakes are huge! And I don't know HOW they do it, but the food was so hot that I had to wait for it to cool to eat it. Now, I don't like to be critical, but an establishment with the word "egg" in it's name, you would think the eggs would be stellar. Not so much. I always order eggs "scrambled soft with cheese". Most places don't get it right and they were no exception. They were scramble hard to the point they were flat and cheese was slapped on the top. Dry and I could not eat them. They should also consider have a different kind of potatoes in addition to the shredded ones I got. My friend had chicken and waffles. Said the chicken wasn't "flavorful" but wasn't bad. It wasn't the worst but I doubt I'd be back. For me, it was like the Grand Canyon, once you've seen it there really isn't a need to go back unless your taking friends who want to go.

Wow! This place is excellent. We were seated quickly and immediately our sever, Tammy, came by and took our drink orders. She gave a few recommendations and ensured my food order did not have any allergy alerts. Food came out fast and fresh! It was delicious. I always try the steak and gravy, and it was amazing!! The gravy is the best that I have had in a long time. The steak was perfect, not that small, thin, and dry piece that most places serve. I would recommend this place to visits who like off strip and local vibes. The restaurant is festively decorated with a Fun atmosphere! Think Pajama party and classic breakfast food ‍ I got a sweet waffle very yummy
