"It's a great breakfast spot — Rise & Shine sometimes has a long wait to get in, but it's worth it." - Susan Stapleton

Ive been here twice. This last time with a group. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our server was nice and did well at his job. I ordered something that typically comes with a half order so I asked for a full order with it. Little did I know I would be charged $5 extra for 1 extra biscuit. So be mindful when doing things like I did. But I'll definitely eat here again sometime!

The server Brooklyn was friendly and quick. She even checked back with me to see if I needed a coffee refill several times. Good food. Decent prices. Clean restaurant.

Absolutely Delightful Experience! We were welcomed with a warm and friendly greeting from Crystal. The atmosphere was awesome! All of the staff seemed to jive really well with eachother, everyone had smiles on their faces and seemed to truly be enjoying their work. It was refreshing! The establishment looked amazing with the updated changes to the tables and decor. It was very clean and smelled amazing! Had our tummies rumbling as soon as we walked through the door. Service was Fantastic! We received refreshments right as soon as we sat down. The menu was pleasant, many different options to choose from. Once our order was placed, all of the food came quickly and was placed on our table by very friendly and attentive staff. And Wow, the food was hot and tasted Fantastic!! Really was just such a wonderful experience. If you're in town and looking for a good hometown experience just them a GO! ♡

Rise and shine is my go to for breakfast! However I recently tried their lunch. For breakfast I ordered the Mexican omelet home fries and wheat toast. Everything was brought out in timely fashion, hot fresh, and delicious. Then the lunch the day after was the chicken pininie sandwich. It was good but could've used a little seasoning. The cabbage soup was to die for. Im going to try and copy~cat the recipe.😁 I will continue to make this my go to breakfast place. We'll worth the amount of good food you get!

We LOVE the new ownership of this restaurant. FOOD: Everything we ordered was perfect. Not one error. Everything was delicious! Order #1: Coffee with creamers on the table. French Toast, Scrambled Eggs and Sausage Links. The sausage links were huge! Everything is cooked perfect and yummy! Order #2: Soda, Meatlovers Skillet. The homefries in the skillet were SO good! Not soggy, but cooked well and seasoned. Everything tasted so good! Order #3: Water, Eggs (Over Medium), 1/2 order of Biscuits & Gravy, Bacon & Hashbrowns. The water came with no lemon (as asked), and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I asked for bacon that wasn't floppy and got it! It was cooked to crispy perfection! SERVICE: Our waitress was sweet and friendly. She was helpful with the menu and promptly brought our drinks and food. The waitress came to check on us frequently and filled our drinks before they ever got low. After the waitress dropped the check, she left To-Go Coffee, Soda, and water! HOW THOUGHTFUL. We didn't even ask for it. ATMOSPHERE: This is still a renovated old Pizza Hut, but it's updated. They took down all the random coffee cups lining the walls from the last failed restaurant that tried to give it a go and replaced it with a rustic farmhouse feel. They play country background music. ** One concern. We took my mother-in-law, and she was freezing the entire time (though we were not seated by the doors and it was only 30 outside). I would suggest dressing warm if you are usually cold. There was a blast of cold air with each new group that came in.

My wife and I had our first visit here, what a pleasant experience and great food. You will definitely not leave hungry. Our server was pleasant and had a great sense of humor. This place will most certainly be on our list of breakfast stops in the future.

While we were greeted warmly and seated quickly, it pretty much went downhill from there. The young teenage server seemed to be bothered we interrupted her phone time to take our order but then the food came quickly and it was decent. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant so we were confused why we never got a refill on our drinks or offered a carry out box. When we went to the register to pay the same girl that was our server, she asked if everything was ok and I mentioned the refills and carry out boxes and how no one came back to our table. She said nothing. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Yelp
Today is Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they have been open for three days. Per an employee it is a soft opening and their official opening is December 1st. They are now owned by the same owner of the Rise & Shine at E Thompson Rd & Arlington. Service was excellent throughout our meal and visit. Everyone was super friendly and nice. The dining room is much larger than I expected based on the appearance of the building. You'll notice another dining room adjacent to the main one that appears a bit smaller. I ordered two eggs, patty sausage, hash browns and toast. I had hot chocolate and orange juice with my breakfast. My sister ordered the same thing minus the meat. The hot chocolate was perfect. I could drink it right away. Most places serve it scalding hot and I can't drink until it cools down for awhile. But not here, it was served perfectly! Still hot but drinkable. Our breakfasts were good. We ate everything and had a good meal. I would come again and order the Western Omelette. They don't close until 3 pm so lunch is available as well.

Yelp
Good food at a reasonable price. Serving breakfast and lunch with large portions. Service depends on who you get but still acceptable. No frills but a favorite of ours

Yelp
We just had an overall dirty experience here. The menus, the interior of the building, the plates our food was served on were all dirty. Also, our waitress had pretty bad breath and dirt under her nails. The food was not great. Our frozen hash browns were barely cooked through and soggy. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and rubbery, my skillet had so much cheese on it it was borderline ridiculous lol the "blueberry crepe" was topped with canned pie filling and old, flat whipped cream. I think if they cleaned up the inside, wiped down the menus, required the servers to brush their teeth and wash their hands, and improved the food overall we would come back.

Yelp
New cooks who no how to cook. I had biscuits and gravy,my go to and hash browns. The hash browns were half cooked and greasy and I didn't know what was in the gravy to be sausage gravy. My brother and sister in law food was gut as bad. The waiters was no better. Will never go back.

Yelp
Typically decent food except today I was accompanied by a very large.... cockroach. No food is good enough to share with such insect. Upon finishing my breakfast I noticed the roach on the bench making its way toward my pocket, thankfully I spotted that sucker or I may have just taken it home with me. Notified the health department of my concern and was informed they were already aware of the situation as Rise N Shine had previously been asked to get rid of the infestation. Needless to say it was my last time visiting Rise N Shine.

Yelp
Worst dining experience I've ever had, I didn't even get breakfast Took my dad to breakfast for Father's Day. His food came out wrong and we were very nice about it. I sent my food back because it was too spicy and WANTED to order something else. Again we were very nice then the manager came over and got short with us then walked away and wouldn't even let me speak. So no one waited on us the rest of our visit. We went to pay and they were so kind as to take off $2.00

Yelp
I would leave less than 1 star. My husband and I went to rise and shine for brunch in Mooresville today. The restaurant was moderately busy, we only waited a few minutes to be seated, drinks were ordered and 15 minutes later we got them. There were 2 other tables sat around us and ordered after us but both tables got their food 10-15 minutes before we did. Out order came out and the Katie's omelet was rubbery and disgusting, the extra order of wheat toast was burnt and the pancakes were raw in the center. We did not ask for a discount but simply asked the server to take off the burned toast. She stated the manager Crystal refused to take off the toast. The same manager was SUPER rude to the table of elderly people near us when they inquired about their food that they had been waiting on forever. I would never return to this establishment and only went there because the sister location on the east side was a weekly favorite for us to eat at.
