The 26 Best Bakeries in Houston

"Make the trek out to Friendswood for cupcakes and cookies from this popular local bakery. Expect everyday flavors like the Show Me the Chocolate, a house-made chocolate cake cupcake topped with milk chocolate buttercream and chocolate shavings; or indulge in its rotating daily specials like its Central Perk, a brown sugar, Kahlua cake topped with rich coffee buttercream and drizzled with salted caramel. The shop also brings in four specials every month and sells a limited batch of “crookies,” the cookie-croissant hybrid taking TikTok by storm. Be sure to get there early. These specials sell out quickly." - Brittany Britto Garley

I’ve been coming to this location since 2018, and it never fails me. Not only do they have super yummy cupcakes, but I also chose them to make my wedding cake and it exceeded all my expectations! We went with coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon flavors, and every bite was unforgettable.”

Google
I've been here multiple times over the years. The cupcakes are very sweet so be wary. I think some of the cupcakes are a bit dry, such as the chocolate chip cookie dough and the coffee one, so I wouldn't recommend those. However, I am a fan though of the red velvet and show me the chocolate, I think those are nice and moist. I'm thinking the darker cupcakes are always moist and the white ones are dry. Not sure though. Overall a very cute store and the employees always answer my questions. Worth a try.

I got a cake made for my daughter's 2nd birthday and we loved it. The taste of the cake was awesome and the design was everything I asked for. It was for a very affordable price also. I will be a returning customer !

Google
This team absolutely CRUSHED IT when making my order of custom colored cupcakes and cutie themed cookies for my sister in law's baby shower. The cookies turned out even better than the pictures I gave them!! Really remarkable artwork. My ONLY wish is that they made at least one vegan (or at least dairy free) cupcake or treat or something. 😢

Google
I had my daughter’s birthday cake made from them in July it was lemon with raspberry filling & my sons I just had made chocolate chip with coffee butter cream . Also had my other son’s cake made for his birthday chocolate with Nutella buttercream. Love the flavors as well as design! Thanks Rise!

Google
Rise cupcakes made cookies for my baby shower! These cookies were DELICIOUS and absolutely ADORABLE. I highly recommend their services for any creative cookie needs! 🍪 🐨 🎾

Google
This is my favorite place to go for cupcakes. I love the variety of cupcake flavors and designs. I've tried almost every cupcake flavor, including the seasonal ones, and they were all scrumptious. I prefer less frosting than most people, so I do remove a good bit because it's extremely sweet, but overall, the cupcakes are superb. I recommend the S'mores and Creme Brulee.

Google
We go every month for their cupcake flavors of the month and certain weekdays to get my favorites, and now we tried their cookies for my mom's birthday. (Christmas cookie theme) Believe it or not the cookies are just as amazing as the cupcakes!!! I love this place.

Yelp
*UPDATE* Management has corresponded with me via email and addressed all of my concerns. *WARNING* I've been coming here for YEARS and never had an issue until this weekend. I stop by and grab festive treats from their case at least 2-3 times a month. However, I'm SO disappointed in their lack of communication and poor execution of my order this weekend. I ordered a brown cake for a baby shower and it was nearly orange. Also, the lettering on the cake was misspelled. All they did was instruct me to "scrape it off" and issue a $5 refund. I've sent multiple emails, they responded once and are now just ignoring me. They claim to have been calling and emailing me the week prior to the event with questions about my order, however I have no voicemails or missed calls. They actually emailed me less than 24 hours before the event telling me the inspo picture I provided them was "blurry," however, it wasn't "blurry" when I initially sent it and asked for a quote. Funny how that works. Also, the cake couldn't even be cut. It just crumbled and made it very hard to serve. I'd never recommend trusting them for custom pre-ordered cakes for your special occasion. They don't care to respond to my email but can post advertisements on Facebook. In the future, I'd recommend other local bakeries like Pignoli or Case Bakes as their customer service is excellent.

Yelp
Rise Cupcakes is my favorite bakery in Friendswood!! My absolute favorite is the Blueberry Delight cupcake! And let's not forget the cinnamon rolls... wow! Soft, gooey, and utterly divine. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.

Yelp
Best cookies we have ever had! They made my sister-in-laws birthday cookies, not one bad thing about them. The designs were spot on and the flavor was absolutely delicious. Pricing may seem like a lot to some but once you taste it you know it was made with love. Worth it! And the service was fantastic! Super nice.

Yelp
This shop is so amazing! Everything I've ever had there is phenomenal! It's a cute shop and really close to home so that makes it even better! I've had a raspberry almond cupcake and a strawberry shortcake and the strawberry shortcake was hands down one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I highly recommend this place and need to go more often! Haha

Sandra T.

Yelp
Amazing cupcakes. I stop here too often and try to blame it on my kids. ;-). And, the cookies are just as good as the cupcakes.
google avatar

Macy E.

Yelp
The cupcakes are pretty good here! I've stuck with my regular red velvet and vanilla. I felt like I've tried them all. Great place. And great service.

Tommy F.

Yelp
I was not impressed with my experience at Rise. The cookies were old and tasted horrible. Jenny's bakery in South Shore sells these for $.25 cheaper and the cookies themselves are bigger.

Yelp
This place has the cutest cupcakes with brilliant ideas for flavors. I recently got the lavender lemon , apple a la mode and strawberry rhubarb cupcake. The flavor was very potent in the lavender cupcake . The strawberry was by far my favorite. It had just enough sweetness and filling. The texture was a bit dry for all of the cupcakes but they had much potential because the flavors were so delicious. I did go during covid so it's possible that they were just older batches. The representative assisting me was super helpful and kind. She thoroughly explained the wide selection and recommended the peach cobbler and apple a la mode cupcake. The apple cupcake was definitely similar to apple pie and ice cream despite the texture. I would prefer sprinkles or crave for based solely on the consistency of the cupcake. I would come back though to try their exclusive Mangonada flavor. Something cool about this shop is that they have seasonal and monthly cupcakes; so you do get a great variety. I absolutely loved the decor! It reminded me of a contemporary candy shop .

Yelp
If I could give ZERO I would do it!! I don't even know where to begin I'm soooooo angry but I'll start from the beginning. I called to get directions and the young lady answering the phone (Shelby) had no idea how to tell me directions. So I arrive and immediately noticed the edges of the cupcakes were very dark and in my opinion too done. I asked the girl (Shelby) if she could recommend the moistest cupcake they have since they all looked very well done. She said (very sarcastically) I don't eat cupcakes and they're all moist. I would learn real quick, the cupcakes tasted like bricks!! My husband was so ready to leave at this point. We had traveled out of our way to come here so I went against my better judgement and ordered. Shelby was absolutely unaccommodating and her attitude was horrible! I ordered the plain vanilla and the Heidi and Seal (see pics) and was trying to order a drink. I politely asked is that a Mexican Coke you guys have back there? She said what??? I don't know it's a Coke, I was as trying to educate her the difference and why they were better. She said no it's Coke do you want it or not. She hands it to me and I show her the tag, "hecho en Mexico" and told her it was in fact a Mexican Coke even though she told me it wasn't. She rolls her eyes and said "whatever is that all you want?" At this point I wanted to scream and leave but instead I ask her what is her problem and why she's being so rude. She said she had an upsetting phone call and then she goes to the back. She comes out and begins acting super sweet to the other customers. I sit there to eat our cupcakes and as predicted they are dry as cardboard. It was like eating a cracker without the salt and the frosting was tooooooo sweet. I was so upset. Not only because the cupcakes were terrible but that the service was heinous. I call and leave a message for the owner, no call back. Wait a week and leave another message for the owner and still no call back. It's entirely clear to me why everything is sub par here. How are you going to put a person like Shelby up front who doesn't know directions, is super rude and lastly doesn't even eat your product. By her own admission she doesn't eat cupcakes?!?!? Skip this place at all costs and go to Small Cakes. You'll thank me later. Just so the public knows, I have received 10 hateful messages in my in box from "other Yelpers" aka Shelby's Mom and her friends, threatening me about my review. She should raise a kinder person who isn't racist or rude to people and then they won't alert the public about her terrible attitude. I'm very easy going but I'm really blunt and honest in my review. Shelby was terrible on this visit and she went out of her way to be rude. The owner couldn't be bothered to return any of my calls and now has people threatening me about my review. Want better reviews be kind and make a good product. I will not be bullied into silence.

Yelp
Wow! Seldom do I leave one star reviews but if I could, I'd leave zero stars. I'm not a big dessert eater but I love a good cupcake. I don't like dry or hard cake, so I wanted to ask the young lady which one she recommends would be soft. She ignored me and then when she answered my questions she rolled her eyes. I ordered a vanilla cupcake and chocolate cupcake. Both were terrible, just really hard and dry. They were so dry I almost thought they were old. The frosting was bad too. It was so sugary and the sugar was overkill and turned you off from eating it. The worst part was how rude the young lady was (see photo) she was so condescending and seems like she hates her job. Doesn't matter because I wouldn't come back if you paid me.

Yelp
Their Christmas cookies were AMAZING! They were a great hit at the party! I also tried cupcakes they were moist and delicious!!

Yelp
I came into Rise blindly, not looking at Yelp because we wanted to look into cupcakes or cakes for a party. The reviews are pretty mixed, but we had a great experience here. Walking in, we were greeted by the really friendly staff. The store itself is nice and clean and have a nice display case right as you walk in. The cashier gave us a run down of the menu. They have an everyday menu with your basic cupcakes, and they also have a rotating menu every day of the week. Some people say they have a small selection, but I found it just right and not overwhelming. If someone takes the time and cleverly names their products, you have a happy customer in me. It's the little things that makes me happy. We decided to go with four cupcakes to take home and sample. The four we purchased were The Real Cookie Monster, Rocky Road, Red Velvet, and Not So Thin Mint. The names basically have a description in itself. My personal favorite was the The Real Cookie Monster. I have never really had cookie butter before, but now I can't get enough of it because of this cupcake. I know now what I have been missing out on. It is a chocolate chip cookie butter cake, with a cookie butter buttercream. I always appreciate a cake or cupcake with buttercream over whip cream. Not to be outdone, the Not So Thin Mint tasted just like the girl scout cookie. Minty, but not overwhelmingly minty. It also had the added bonus of a thin mint garnish on top. The Rocky Road was delicious as well with a marshmallow topping. The Red Velvet was uh like any other red velvet honestly. What stood out about all the cupcakes compared to some other place we have been was that they were all nice and moist. Sometimes you go to a shop and get the stuff displayed and though they may look great, they are super dry. Not the case here. I will definitely be back to make my way through that delicious rotating menu!

Yelp
I spent about $14 at this place. It was my first time in there. The inside of the business is decorated beautifully. There was a lady there buying tons of cupcakes. I saw the customer order probably more than 12 boxes. I also observed several people seated who looked like they'd picked over their cupcakes but most of the cupcake was left on the plate. After getting home and having one of the cupcakes I see why the cupcakes were left half eaten on those plates. I immediately felt sorry for the lady who'd ordered boxes of cupcakes from this place. The cupcakes had a cornbread like consistency. Not the good old sweet cornbread, but more of the bland cornbread that isn't fresh. All of the cupcakes were this way. Not sure how this place stays in business if this is what their product tastes like.

Yelp
Wow, this place is my first one star review. I really feel bad writing it but I am compelled to be honest about the food and service. I was in the area on my way to Kemah and decided to stop in to have a sugar fix. I am a sucker for a moist and creamy cupcake. The shop itself was very cute and nicely decorated. I walked in and there were a few people standing around waiting to be taken care of. The service was slow and terribly unfriendly. I was asking questions about the variety of cupcakes that were displayed but unfortunately the young lady didn't provide much detail and she refused to make any recommendation. In fact, she kept looking away and seemed agitated I was asking questions. I decided to keep it simple I had the vanilla and I also ordered the strawberry. The first thing I noticed was how dry the cake part was. It was so lackluster in flavor and incredibly dry. The strawberry cake almost tasted like the vanilla. The frosting was chalky and really sweet. It didn't combine well and it wasn't enjoyable at all. Combine all these things: the wait time, unfriendly staff and dry & flavorless cupcake and you have a recipe for 1 star. Will not come back there are too many other options.
google avatar

Majay M.

Yelp
It's very popular here in Friendswood area. All cupcakes and cookies look very cute. The flavor is also good but the frosting which most of my friends claim delicious is WAY to greasy and sweet for me. I guess because it might be real butter but once o eat one I feel guilty right after. I hope there was like a "less bulky frosting" option. Price wise is on the higher end but they look cute. They have puppy cupcakes! so that brings me back once a month. Some girls there are willing to help a couple others I've found not even making eye contact or caring to ask if you need anything else..kind of "cold" attention.

Yelp
A gloomy Saturday (February 9th at 2:20 pm) always calls for delicious cupcakes. What better place than Rise to fulfill that craving! The cupcakes were delicious as usual, but the customer service was HORRIBLE! When we walked in, the girl behind the counter did not greet us. She acted bothered to answer any questions I had. Once I paid, she didn't say thank you, walked away, and didn't even hand me the cupcakes I had just purchased, which were down at the other end of the counter. The customer service here was some of the rudest I have encountered in a very long time. This particular girl needs to learn some interpersonal communication skills. It was ridiculous, to say the least. If this is indicative of how Rise now treats their customers, I will not be back.
google avatar

Kelsey G.

Yelp
WARNING: I'm way too particular on my sweets. I decided to take my darling little sister here as a treat. She got the Heidi and Seal and I tried the Lemon Blueberry. I was SO excited to try Rise Cupcakes. I honestly wanted to give them 4 stars. Yet, I could not because the sweetness of the huge amount of icing was so blinding. The cake was dry, yet flavorful. I was also a tad disappointed in their customer service. It seems like they aren't too happy to be there? I like their selection and have been back more than once to see what new flavors I could try. I would have to say the O-o-oreo is my favorite thus far, though I look forward to trying some variety of their banana cupcake someday.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because the buttercream icing is everything. --- --- --- And if it's not buttercream, it's something delicious. We were craving something sweet after a little post-wedding BBQ celebration at my parents' house in Friendswood. We normally go into Houston and grab a box of Crave Cupcakes, but because we were limited on time, I didn't mind just hitting up a shop nearby. I have to say - Rise was just as delicious as Crave! They were the kind of cupcakes that I couldn't stop eating, despite the fact that I was overly stuffed from our huge lunch. Every flavor I tried was wonderful. I was actually bummed that I only had 24 hours in Friendswood, because I could have used some more cupcake-eating time! Who says they don't have some good stuff out in the suburbs?

James C.

Yelp
The cupcakes are pretty good. Not the best, but they'll satisfy a cupcake craving. I deducted a star because the place is always sold out. I've been coming here on/off for the last five years. Almost every time if you come within an hour of closing , they're sold out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it's happened multiple times this year. I don't recommend making the drive out after 5pm. If you must, call before hand. It's unprofessional and I'm not going to be coming back for a while. The main reason I kept coming back was because I don't live near a crave or sprinkles, but I'd rather drive further than continue to waste my time.

Patricia D.

Yelp
I ordered a rainbow cake for my son's birthday. I was told it would be ok. When we cut into the cake it was plain colored. I called to inform them and they told me they could not do that and that it wasn't written down. They said they could not give a refund but cleave me a $20 gift card. I spent over $80 on a cake and added $40 worth of cupcakes on top of my order. I will not be returning and I have gone there for 5 years for my son's birthday cakes.

Tim R.

Yelp
Wow! I read a few of the negative comments concerning the quality of the cupcakes. I don't get it. These people are either really picky or maybe they just came on an off day. I'm sure all businesses have an occasional off day. I come at least once a week! I always get cupcakes and a brownie. The cupcakes are ALWAYS fresh and quite tasty and the brownies are superb. The vast variety of cupcake flavors makes it difficult to choose. They are all great.....but if you like strawberries.....Strawberry Fields is the BEST. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. Did I mention.....Strawberry Fields is the best cupcake of all!!!!!!
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
When grocery store cupcakes just won't do, Rise Cupcakes is a great place to splurge. Individual cupcakes are $3.25 with the price of a dozen being $36. So, yeah, expensive for cupcakes! They're really really yummy though; the frosting is seriously delicious. We dropped by today and bought a vanilla, an almond joy, and a churro flavored cupcake. All three of them were pretty good. They're not only good for cupcakes though! When my son turned 2 last November we ordered a S'mores flavored, woodland themed cake that was super cute and tasted great. It was definitely pricey, and I'm not sure I'd pay that much for a cake again, but if you're in the market for a superbly decorated cake then Rise is your place.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
Best place ever! I've been coming here for years and they've never let me down. Such an amazing job on my wedding cake at a very reasonable price.

Therese M.

Yelp
I tried my first cupcake here recently. Shop person was polite and friendly. Display is nice. Cupcakes are very cute and have the amount of frosting I like. Cake and frosting tasted fresh. If you like light and fluffy frosting, this is the place for you. I prefer a rich, old fashioned style buttercream, so I won't get more cupcakes, but I'm eager to try a cookie next time.
google avatar

Clark A.

Yelp
Best vanilla and chocolate cupcakes I've had anywhere. Other varieties are hit-or-miss, but often quite good. There is something special about the texture of their vanilla cupcakes, which are my favorite; my wife says similar things about the chocolate. This is my favorite cupcake place, out of many tried. Further, I have had nothing but positive experiences with the service here.
google avatar

Kristal M.

Yelp
Very happy with the service, delivery, and execution of the cake display I was wanting. I had to organize all the details long distance and Haley covered every detail and everything came together as planned. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is price. Although they did give us a military discount, which I was very appreciative of, it still was extremely expensive for cupcakes with basically no decorations, delivery charge was more than I expected for being a local delivery and renting a cupcake stand was quite high as well. All of it added up and made the total bill more than I wanted for cake. When I'm in town I'll still stop by for a special treat!
google avatar

Mary Y.

Yelp
Their sugar cookies are normal but they're cupcakes are amazing. I got their Father's Day cookies, the cookies were a little dry. I got the salted caramel cupcake and it was yummy.

Jack S.

Yelp
Received a cup cake for my birthday. icing was good but the cake was very dry and stale, like it had been left out for several days.
google avatar

Linsey T.

Yelp
I've had cupcakes here twice before but yesterday was the first time I visited the store. It's so cute in there! I totally get Breakfast at Tiffany vibes. The girls behind the counter were sweet & helpful in deciding what cupcake I should get. They have four more "basic" flavors that are always available and then about 3-4 different cupcakes everyday. Oh! And a flavor of the month! I love the frosting here. Most are buttercream and it is not super heavy or sweet like the typical buttercream. Some cupcakes are drier than others but my favorite ones are the Blueberry Delight, the cookie butter/chocolate chip one (not sure of name), and April's flavor of the month - raspberry lemonade! So yum!
google avatar

Jeffrey J.

Yelp
The frosting is amaaaazing ! I went with funfetti and it was the best decision . The actually cake portion was a bit dry unfortunately .
google avatar

Dallas W.

Yelp
Pretty average cupcakes. They definitely taste homemade but they are missing that "oomph" that other bakeries have that keep their customers coming back for more. I was expecting more, especially at their price point. Definitely not bad at all but not my first choice for cupcakes.
google avatar

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Well. Dang. I've been wanting to try this place forever....and tonight we stopped by finally! I ran my first 5k today and as a treat, hubby brought me here for cupcakes. Sadly, I wasn't that impressed. Don't get me wrong, the shop is super duper cute and all the cupcakes have adorable nicknames but they're pretty small and the ones we had were dry. Plus the buttercream frosting didn't taste like thick rich buttercream; it tasted like the supermarket whipped frosting. We got the Rise and Shine Vanilla and the Show Me the Chocolate...such cute names, huh? I wanted to try the lemon but the couple in front of us got the last two (lemon is one of the daily flavors), so we figured vanilla and chocolate are pretty safe to try, right? I mean a vanilla cupcake with vanilla buttercream should taste like wedding cake right? Well, not at Rise. The cupcake edges were crunchy and very dry and the cupcake itself wasn't that moist. Hubby only ate half of his...usually when I get an extra half of a cupcake I get all giddy. Tonight I just was just sad as I can't throw away a cupcake but I really didn't want to eat it.... We bought 4 cupcakes and they were $3.02 a piece; maybe you get a discount if you buy 4? Still more than they were worth sadly.... So. A definite 5 star for the cuteness of the shop and the hours and the cupcake box with the holder but since I base cupcakes on taste and texture, a definite 2 star....as in meh. I've experienced better.
google avatar

Siobhan N.

Yelp
Dang, some pretty harsh reviews! I have driven 30 minutes out of my way just to get a vanilla cupcake from here! I'm from the UK so we like our fairy cakes aka cupcakes to be a little more dense and rich, and it's buttercream all the way, this place delivers on all of those aspects. They taste like home to me and I love it :) I've only ever had the vanilla, why mess with a good thing eh? The staff are friendly and the bakery itself is decorated really cute. They even had special cupcakes made for Shark Week, what more could one ask for?!
google avatar

T T.

Yelp
I love cake, but this was not cake. Lol I had a couple bites and was good. Very powerfully sweet. Sugar plus extra sugar. Sugar and cinnamon over powered. Beautiful designs, but looks can be deceiving. Very disappointed in taste. Bought 4 different flavors. Tried two the snores and cookie dough and threw the others away. You can actually put too much sugar and cinnamon in a cake.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
The shop is sooo cute!! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The cupcakes are good, but the icing is REALLY sweet...for me, anyway.
google avatar

Martha W.

Yelp
I have been in love with this place for about 2 years, their cupcakes are incredible! Always friendly service, and they really cater to your individual requests. I ordered 2 dozen mixed cupcakes for my daughter in-law's baby shower, huge hit!
google avatar

Andria M.

Yelp
Not really a two, but not quite a three and Yelp doesn't do halves. I have been a few times since they opened and am always hoping for better. If I could get this frosting on HEB cake then it would be five stars. A previous reviewer mentioned the texture of stale cornbread and that's it. There was not much taste to the cake and it was not moist at all. I did finally get the peanut butter today and it was much better than other flavors I have had previously. The chocolate chips in the cake greatly improved it's taste but it still didn't taste $3.25 worth. If you eat inside be sure to bring your own napkins, they can get messy. I couldn't find one anywhere and the server was on the phone the whole time and I didn't want to interrupt. The shop is very cute and clean.

Carla D.

Yelp
Ordered our first birthday cake from Rise Cupcakes. They did an amazing job! Cake was not only decorated so well, but it was delicious. Prices great compared to another bakery I had checked. Highly recommend Rise! They made my Louisiana boy happy with this LSU crawfish boil cake!
google avatar

Monica F.

Yelp
My daughter brought me a cupcake from here, so I don't know the cute little name of it like all the other reviewers! LOL. The cake part of it was very tasty and had strawberry pieces in it. The icing though was over the top sweet! I think in the future I will just eat the cake and toss the icing so as to avoid having a major stomach ache the rest of the day!
google avatar

trisha h.

Yelp
I am adding a star because the cupcakes we had recently we're moist and delicious! They are no longer dry. Counter personnel were very nice too.
google avatar

Elanny S.

Yelp
I will need to return Friday for the carrot cake cupcake. I was sadden to see how small the selection was, but based on the size of the shop its understandable. The young lady behind the counter was polite and served me as expected. Cute little shop, Very well kept. Guess cupcake lovers would enjoy trying their available selections, but since I only care for carrot cake and in occasions velvet once I must be honest and give them 2 stars.
google avatar

Fabian P.

Yelp
Geeze where does one began. The presentation of the cake was not up to par based on the price paid for this cake. The icing used as the "glue" wasn't smoothed out all the way. The cake itself was pretty dry. My mother asked the employee for another box but she said she couldn't, normally places will make accommodations for their consumers. Literally had to carry the cake open boxed because the box was too small. What bakery doesn't have different sized boxes for the cakes they make? Clearly not a lot of efforts are made to keep consumers to come back in to their business because the service isn't there and they won't accommodate to the consumers needs.
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Delicious cupcakes! I don't know why others wrote such negative reviews but I haven't had a flavor that I did not like. The lady at the front whom I'm guessing from other reviews and photos is "Shelby" was never rude and she had great customer service. I do not know her personally but I figured I would stand up and clear things up. I have gone here on several occasions and have never had a bad experience and the cupcakes always taste great even at just a few hours from closing time.

Donna N.

Yelp
Thank you Rise team for making my daughter's birthday an amazing one!! It was absolutely adorable!! If only I had a camera in hand to snap a photo of her reaction, I would have. Along with others that saw the cake as well! You guys are great at what you do and we are always pleased with the cakes and cupcakes that we order.

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up a few cupcakes while on the way to surprise my granddaughter at school for her birthday. I picked up the vanilla and cotton candy flavors. The young lady that waited on me was very friendly, HOWEVER the cupcakes were so dense and dry and the icing was too sweet.. I was very disappointed and to make it worse, my granddaughter who loves sweets didn't like her cupcake either. Sorry to say, I would not recommend this bakery if cupcakes are what you are wanting.

Lisa T.

Yelp
I ordered 6 cupcakes (walk in) different varieties. I get home and taste the lemon one and it's not fresh. I mean moist is no where in this cupcake. I tried the vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing again not fresh, next the vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing not fresh and to the trash all go. Simply horrible, I paid $21.00 for stale dry cupcakes, but hey they did look pretty. Don't stop keep going to Jenny's too or Cakes by Jula

Yelp
Love love love this place! I am a true regular! I am obsessed with every flavor cupcake they offer! My favorite one is the Cookie Monster (only offered on Wednesday). I bring all my friends here too, it's one of those places that just make you feel happy when you are there. I love the staff they are always so nice, and the decor is super cute as well.

Yelp
We have been frequenting Rise for a few years now. Cupcakes are always delicious and staff friendly. We usually bring a group of kids and parents (Hike it Baby), after a walk from the nearby park. The interior is beautiful, like something a kid would dream about, or from a movie. Keep up the good work Rise and thank you!

Yelp
Took my granddaughter in to have a cupcake, while we were sitting down a manger came out and asked the table next to us (that had three little girls)if they would like to go see the back where they make the cupcakes! I asked the girl in the front did she not think that was rude my granddaughter was sitting right next to them and wasn't asked. the OWNER came out but wasn't helpful at all we didn't even finish out cupcake..........As for the cupcakes I've had way better!!!!!
