I am posting anonymously but here is the rundown: 5 stars for: Management and maintenance! If you need to contact either of them you get responded to quickly and they handle things very fast. Easy to work with and pretty easy going. 2 stars for tenants/dirtiness: the floor I lived on had the dirtiest, loudest and rudest neighbors (dogs included...barking and whining at all hours non-stop) a neighbor who constantly slammed their door so loudly and angrily when at home that it was almost impossible to relax. One of the elevators was peed in by a dog often. And the floors and building were not ever clean despite a cleaning lady coming through on Tuesdays. All this results in 3 stars. If you need a place to stay at (not live) then this is a spot to consider as it is close to the Roosevelt Light rail, a few buses and Whole Foods and Safeway.

Avoid This Apartment – Deceptive Management and Unreasonable Charges If you’re considering renting here, think twice. After 12 months, I faced an unfair $335 deduction from my deposit, despite meticulously cleaning the apartment and providing 20 days' notice. I was still charged $100 for cleaning, $55 for painting supplies, and $180 for painting labor—unreasonable costs given the condition I left the apartment. I cleaned the entire apartment for a whole week, using Clorox wipes to sanitize every surface, sweeping thoroughly, and wiping down all areas. As seen in the attachment, I have photographic and video evidence of the apartment’s good condition as of my move-out date, July 31, 2024. I documented all existing damages upon move-in, including many paint chips and wall scratches, yet was charged as if I caused them. Management ignored all my emails disputing these charges. The unit itself was tolerable for the price—small, with a cramped gym and an overfilled, dirty garbage area—but the management experience was awful. They seemed friendly while I lived there but stopped communicating entirely once they had my deposit. This management is deceptive and unresponsive, taking advantage of tenants with unwarranted fees. I have told friends and family to avoid this place and I also urge others to stay away.

This place was fine, you get what you paid for. Make sure to carefully look at the floorplan for your room, mine was *small*, like *cannot fit EITHER a desk or a bed* small. That's mostly due to my floorplan though, other people had better rooms. The lock was a bit finicky but worked fine, the trash room often piled up, and the internet was quite bad. Those were all minor annoyances though, I have no major complaints. The location near Roosevelt station was *awesome*, and the building is close enough to groceries and restaurants. The rooftop terrace is great, and I liked the little gym up there; great views. Overall, I'd say it's a decent place if you're on a tight budget.

I don’t normally leave reviews however working with Jeremiah was such a great experience. While here at The Rise he was patient, understanding and answered any questions I had about living here. It was important for me to feel comfortable and safe in my home and Jeremiah made sure of it. I’d greatly consider renting from him again.

First off, love living here. The Rise is everything you'd need if you don't need much space. Second, Jeremiah is the man - I had a quick question and popped in the office. He looked busy as he was meeting with someone else at the time, but he didn't rush me off or tell me to come back. He assured me I wasn't bothering him, answered my question, and let me know he's always available if I needed anything. With management like that, you know you're in good hands. 👍👍

Update: they refunded my security deposit and didn't charge anything for the move out. Decent studios. But cleanliness is a major issue. I saw an unemptied drink cup in the gym that wasn't removed/cleaned for over a month. A broken treadmill in the gym was fixed after about 5 months. The on site management is nice and helpful. However, there's not much they can do. The higher management doesn't care and your problems will never be resolved. I barely stayed in the apartment during my 10 month lease. Never cooked anything. Didn't drill any holes in the walls. And I still got a my security deposit deducted on move out.

Their responsiveness to any safety concerns, the seamless leasing process, prompt handling of maintenance requests, and willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference. This building offers efficient and innovative studio apartments, for those looking to leave a smaller footprint- with breathtaking views of Green Lake and city skyline. The building’s amenities, including a lounge, gym, and rooftop deck, are also super convenient to have! With a walk score of 88 and easy access to transit, it’s a walker’s paradise. If you’re looking for a trendy, well-located community, Rise on 67th is a great choice! Highly recommended! 🌆

Would give zero stars if possible. DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU NEED WIFI. I tried to use my own xfinity internet but they make you use their "complimentary" wifi which is unusable. I pay for the "premium" version and it is still unusable. I did not know wifi this bad existed still. It is so slow apps register it as disconnecting every 30 minutes. It makes streaming shows or online gaming impossible. It cannot even support zoom calls without disconnecting. Download speeds peak at about 15 mps and average is around 8. Ping and packet loss is insane and it causes constant screen tearing during games. Even when trying to accomplish working on google docs it will disconnect and cause interruptions. Management was helpful on move in but disappeared afterwards and would take up to a week to respond to anything I do not understand the compliments for Ruslana or Mitch, neither were responsive in either normal or even emergency situations. In addition, they try to use paperwork and tricks to make it difficult to leave and to lock you into extra months past your lease end date. This doesn't even get into the lack of soundproofing so you can constantly hear your neighbors and whenever they flush toilets or take showers. Just in general everything was made as cheaply as possible with as many corners cut as they could. And you can tell.
