Rise Up Coffee in Cambridge always delivers that cozy, laid-back morning vibe. I stopped in just for a coffee and ended up staying for breakfast—and I’m glad I did. I ordered the breakfast burrito, banana split yogurt bowl, and two smoothies: the strawberry matcha and the banana coffee chocolate. I grabbed a seat at the corner counter with a view of the road, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere and full-on coffee morning energy. The burrito was heartier than expected—packed with perfectly scrambled eggs, avocado, and potatoes. It was a lot for one person, so we shared. The smoothies were, as always, spot on. And the banana split yogurt bowl? Deliciously good—fresh, balanced, and satisfying. Rise Up continues to be a go-to for chill mornings, good coffee, and unexpectedly great breakfast.

Lovely corridor and the eggs were high quality. I ordered two scrambled and I’m pretty sure I got like 4?! I wanted to try the burrito or sandwich, but I’m gluten sensitive and I prefer sourdough over gluten free bread

We were craving coffee and some hearty bites on our way back to the hotel from Assateague Island. Rise Up Coffee came just at the right moment! Awesome food (served until 3.00pm) and fabulous coffee. Definitely coming back

I gave every all five stars because the food and servings and everything else is so amazing. The avocado on top not too much too little just enough and very crispy too which is I love it a lot because the bread is so crispy. It’s like eating chips lol. it’s the perfect breakfast meal of the day.

I had a fantastic experience at Rise Up Coffee! The coffee is bold and flavorful, and the food is just as impressive. I ordered the Rise Up burritos and sandwiches, and they were delicious—fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by for great coffee and food!

I love this place. The coffee is perfect and the cafe has a rustic/ log cabin vibe. The store is clean and the service is friendly. I had a hot latte with sugar free vanilla syrup and my husband had a banana coffee smoothie. I have driven past this place many times while traveling and finally decided to stop in. I will be patronizing more often now!

The idea of having small shop is great idea. However, to keep customers your employees need to be aware of the energy they offer. Nasty energy when I went to order, seemed annoyed I wanted to order. We just moved here was excited about supporting small businesses. However I felt rushed and unwanted. I thought it was just bad day, so we came back second round today. Same energy with same attitudes. Such shame. Both days were not busy, didn’t seem overwhelmed with orders.

Extra large iced lattes, really smooth espresso. A really impressive breakfast burritos and a sick interior. Massive wooden tables with comfortable, solid chairs

Rise Up is an Eastern Shore treat!! If we leave Ocean City early we try to stop at Rise Up in Cambridge on our way home. It never disappoints. My favorite is the breakfast burrito. It is large and heavy. We always split it, which makes it the perfect breakfast treat. It has a little kick because of the chorizo sausage. Hash browns were delicious, the green onions gave them extra flavor. They have picnic tables outside which was perfect for our dog. Highly recommend!!

OBSESSED with Rise Up. It's a coffee chain that's only around the Eastern Shore and I desperately need it to come to DC. I think the closest it gets to DC is Annapolis, which is my no means close enough. I ordered the Rise Up breakfast burrito which was the perfect size (could be considered small for more voracious eaters, but I cannot stomach a ton of breakfast food in one go). It had perfectly grilled sear marks and everything was finely chopped in there so that it was easy to eat. My drink was the iced coffee smoothie with French Vanilla syrup and whipped cream. Ridiculously sweet but 300% what I wanted and I love that you can still taste the coffee. Another note - like all other Rise Up locations, the wait is long to order. However it's a relatively decent turnaround for food/drinks. The inside is clean and has a ton of seating too. Highly recommend and urge Rise Up to come to DC.

Forget Dunkin. Keep driving right past McD's. Head for Rise Up Coffee on Route 50 East of Cambridge. They have a really nice indoor & outdoor spaces, great coffee, and lots of food choices to go with it. I enjoyed an everything bagel with mine.

Cambridge is the only location that is inconsistent with food and service . Twice I have been there and they had no express0, often out of ingredients, several occasions I have had over cooked or dry potatoes in my bowl and my cappuccino coffee drinks are never consistent , ( they blame it on me on dairy milk) which I never have a problem anywhere else . Poorly managed ..

This place was endearing. Somehow they seemed to incorporate every aspect of the surrounding environment inside where it kinda gave country and beachy all at once. Not only was the place cute but the food was really good as well. The coffee was actually insane, in the best way, and the acai bowl was agreeable. I would definitely recommend

Great spot for a bite and coffee. There's a few locations near the eastern shore/beaches. The Rise Up burrito is delicious and love the Serrano hot sauce and salsa. Tried the banana chocolate coffee smoothie and it's certainly interesting. It has a lot of strong flavors together and while it's decent, I would probably opt for something simper next time.

I would not recommend this place. I stopped here on my way to ocean city and it took forever to make a breakfast sandwich. When I opened it up it was cold, there was lots of hair in it and the biscuit was broken into many pieces. Also their bathrooms and the parking lot are very dirty.

For years, have sporadically purchased their whole bean coffee at DC area natural foods stores. Was excited to finally check out the storefront and coffee shop in person. And, lemme tell ya - was not disappointed. For starters, the vibe. It's just perfect. The exterior has some cozy & hip seating. The interior is inviting, rustic + modern + artsy. I loved the decor. All of it. Even the bathroom was amazing and a sight for sore eyes. It's a place you could hang out for a bit and truly enjoy yourself. The seating area is its own area a little tucked away from the ordering area. There are plenty of seats as well. It felt spacious to me. Loved the layout and the black/white graphic theme. The coffee was wonderful. Ordered an Americano (iced) which I don't normally do but tried something different. No additives - just the coffee and milk. It was just right - not too strong, not too much milk. Loved the cup and the cool black/white straw. Those little touches make a coffee lover feel special. Topped if off with an egg sandwich (just egg on a buttered biscuit). No complaints. And I'm one picky gal. The biscuit was delicious. The sandwich tasted fresh and wasn't too greasy. Just right. Service was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend this coffee shop. And, you can buy their signature beans on site. A nice lil' bonus right there.

Quick in and out. Breakfast sandwich was good. Everything Bagel toasted a looked like it was toasted in a panini press. A bit smashed but tasty. Breakfast tea blend was good. Well staffed

We have been in town for 1 night and have already been here twice! The coffee smoothies are delicious on a hot day & the fruit smoothies can be customized with a variety of fruit. For breakfast we had avocado toast, the Rise Up burrito, and the banana splat bowl. They were helpful in customizing the avocado toast for our kiddo too. Food came out fast and was delicious. The cafe au lait was also great - the coffee is clearly high quality. There is plenty of space inside and out and the space has a modern vibe with both bar seating and big communal tables. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and I'm sure we will be back a few more times before heading out of town.

I happened to be on my way home from the Eastern Shore one Sunday and decided to stop by. My cousin posted about Rise Up a few times on social media and so I became curious. However, I'm not sure why because I'm not a coffee drinker. When I arrived, parking was a breeze. Upon entering the building, I was a little confused because it was so crowded inside. Where does the line end?...where does it begin? After asking people if they were ordering or waiting for their order, I finally found my place. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which consisted of bacon, egg, and cheese on a homemade biscuit and an iced chai latte. I still had to wait a while to get my food amongst the crowd. I found everything to be satisfying but nothing to shout about. I would say that a win was the bacon on my sandwich. I like my bacon crispy, especially when it's on a sandwich. Rise Up did it right. Chai latte was refreshing. I could see myself returning if in the area although I'm not in a rush to do so.

Good cappuccino, good food for bfast or lunch, quick and efficient service, convenient location

I ordered online at 12:45ish my order was supposed to be ready at 1:05pm I was NOT GIVEN my food until 1:15. I see staff members walking around with their hands in their pockets and my food is still not ready! Come to find out my food was on the counter the entire time packed ready to be picked up but instead it was left to get cold! While staff is on their phones my food is getting cold and melting. UNACCEPTABLE I am so disappointed! I also noticed the lady that was giving out the drink put stickers on the lids when she gave them to other customers but mine she did not! I had enough time to observe these details since I was inside for 15 minutes!!!!!!! I ordered 1- Açaí Bowl - Original 1- The Happy Cow - Vegan Burrito added retried beans - barely taste any other ingredients only refried beans - TASTE LIKE MUSH!!!!!!! Disgusting!!!!! 1- Hot chocolate with coconut milk - BLAND not sweet at all! Nothing special

All amazing a great stop if you are Local or on a journey. looks like they are serving lunch now . Can't beat the breakfast.

Rise up has been my favorite ever since I've lived in Salisbury a few years ago. I've since moved away but have driven back just for this breakfast! It's also become a mandatory stop every time I'm on the eastern shore. Yes, that's how good it is. The location is Cambridge is just as great as I remember. I took some of my friends and sure enough, I didn't just hype it up. The coffee and food lived up to my excitement. So happy to see that they had good business despite the pandemic. There was still a line for coffee this morning! For food -- I recommend getting the burrito and açaí bowl Drinks -- well, I don't think I've ever had a bad drink here :)

The perfect roadtrip stop, especially with the order-ahead function. Skip the pastries, go for the fresh egg sandwiches and smoothies. Excellent coffee and friendly staff. Dog-friendly (outside) area.

Sunrise burrito with turkey bacon and avocado and an iced vanilla latte. Second day back because we loved it so much! We did add the tots on day 1 and they are delicious too. Highly recommend ordering online ahead of time as there were a lot of people waiting.

The coffee here was delicious! Can't go wrong with anything you order. Even though we went when it Was busy, the drinks and food we ordered came out very quickly. Such a cute spot.

Great spot for good coffee and tasty food! Their Americano had really good flavor. A lot of tasty food options and really enjoyed the Rise Up breakfast burrito. Wait time for food was a little long (it was busy that morning, or maybe always that busy), but the burrito was definitely 5/5. Super tasty, toasted, and great ratio of eggs to meat to avocado to cheese. Great atmosphere as well. Would go back!

Came here on the way home from the beach per a friends recommendation. Waited 40 minutes for two coffees and two sandwiches. They didn't put in our sandwiches until after the pick up time (?) so it took much longer than expected. Iced latte and chocolate banana coffee smoothie we ordered were decent. Smoothie was too chocolatey, which I would never say since I love chocolate. Breakfast sandwiches were fine but not worth the wait at all. Nothing special. The bathrooms are family style (large) single occupancy which was frustrating and I saw a few people waiting around to get into one. The people there were nice enough and friendly so that was good. Overall, wouldn't come back here. Totally not worth a 40 minute wait.

We love supporting local businesses and this place is fantastic. Best coffee shop in the area that my family enjoy every weekend. Staff is very friendly and quick. Nice atmosphere. Looking forward to trying the food next time.

I throughly enjoyed my visit here! I tried something new and I really enjoyed it. It was the Jamaican tea, I also tried one of their muffins and it was delicious!! If I lived in Cambridge this would definitely be a regular stop for me. Don't word for it, try them for yourself. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Stopped here the morning after a wedding and this hit the SPOT! Coffee was delicious and this wrap was off the charts. So warm, cheesy, and loved the potato egg meat combo. Super cute place with a ton of customers. This healed me- highly recommend.

I had no idea there was a Rise Up coffee cafe to the place I was visiting! I'm like.. I MUST TRY. I usually buy Rise Up coffee beans around home (DC area) and to actually try it in a cafe is exciting. I just ordered the iced coffee, to compliment the warm day that was ahead. And the taste is satisfactory to the taste buds. The only thing I didn't really like is the paper straws because it tends to.. whats the right word.. tend to soak the drink in, which causes difficulty to continue using the straw to drink the beverage If I were to visit the area again, I would deff come by again to get my coffee fix! I would recommend this place to the coffee lovers out there or if you just want coffee, head over to Rise Up!

Yum!!! Finally venturing out to start going to cafes...and trying to feel out our comfort level. We decided to go out if town for a bit and head to the eastern shore! Stumbled upon one of Rise Up's locations in Cambridge MD Where we were staying for the long weekend. DELICIOUS breakfast and lunch options along with their amazing coffee. My husband always gets the dark roast drip coffee, and we got their breakfast sandwich from their sister store (next door) Mad Eggs, that has a killer logo! The sandwiches were straight forward, no frills and made oh so fresh, from the hearty eggs, delicious crispy bacon and sausage patties! It has a fast food feel but exceeds the mediocre fast food taste. We loved our sandwiches and we plan on coming back for lunch to try other options. I mean....they have tator tots....come on... Give Rise Up and Mad Eggs a try when you're in the area!

This is a neat little place! We ordered takeout and the wait was about 30 minutes, but lord that food was AMAZING! I don't think I have ever had a breakfast burrito that good. We were turned away very rudely from Black Water Bakery but we are so happy because Rise Up is definitely the spot!

Fresh coffee. I stopped by for beans. The 2 lb bag I picked up was roasted three days ago. Amazing flavor. Cashier was friendly to let me taste the coffee before I buy the beans. They aren't the most economical but you drink coffee as it, this is worth the price. Great customer service!

Not really the type to post reviews, but you have to give credit where credit is due. I've been coming to this location for 3+ years almost daily and at various times. I've never had bad service, a bad meal or a bad coffee. If you encounter a line, it's just because it's that good. Props to the staff here.

Loved This Place We went here twice in four days during a recent visit. We loved their breakfast so much. In particular, I liked the variety of being able to get a traditional breakfast sandwich but they also had acai bowls available. And the coffee smoothie was SO good! Too bad we're from out of town or else I'd be here weekly!

My prayers have been answered! A brand new Rise Up right off of 50! This location did not disappoint. Great decoration, including pictures honoring all of the other Rise Up shops. Friendly servers that were helpful and knowledgeable. Lastly, amazingly delicious organic coffee. Thank you Coffee Gods!!!

DELICIOUS coffee! Stumbled upon this place while craving a latte. First time trying their coffee and I went back 4x in 2 days. Lavender Latte - WOW cinnamon toast latte - Amazing Regular coffee - delicious I tried my lattes hot and iced and they were so so addicting. I also ordered them as half sweet. Perfect for me. They have outdoor seating and a barrier on the counters for when you order. Will def be back! Also bought a bag of beans to go and I suggest you do too!

Decided to order some breakfast and ordered the avocado toast, sunrise burrito, latte. Everything was solid from the food to the coffee. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast burritos from, there was a good amount of filling and it was made fresh to order. Coffee was smooth and tasted great. The only knock I had was that the toast was soggy so it had a hard time holding up the avocado/toppings but otherwise the flavor was great. The employee toasted the bread upon order but it may have gotten soggy since the freshly toasted bread was sitting in the to go container, so the steam may have softened the bread. Would definitely come back again.

Locally roasted beans , really good coffee and yummy breakfast. Iced chai latte was also perfectly done! Their food menu is small, but prices are decent for the amount you get. We had the avo toast, rise up burrito and a biscuit breakfast sandwich w/ scrapple (reminiscent of a McDonald's breakfast sandwich so I wasn't too fond of that). The avo on 9 grain toast was terrific and the burrito was huge and filling! They've got a lot of seating indoors and out. Highly recommend this coffee place if you're in the area!

Ordered the Avo Toast and Açaí Bowl---both were DELICIOUS. Avo Toast--very fresh, ripe, bright green avocado topped with an aromatic lime, pepper, and tomato pico. Very fragrant. The bread is thin and grilled to perfection and holds the weight of the toppings very well. Açaí Bowl--sooooo good! Loaded with fresh fruit and tons of granola, drizzled with honey. Easily better than Jamba Juice bowls. The smoothie puree is so good too. Everything pairs well. Also ordered house blend coffee and two cups of water. Coffee is terrific and smells so good. Atmosphere--wide, open space with plenty of community tables. Has free wifi and lots of people are on their laptops. Cool music (was playing Marvin Gaye when I walked in). Bathrooms are very clean and spacious--provide Dr. Bronner soap. Wood accents and walls make for a serene ambience and the comfy stools were the right height for the tables. Definitely worth the stop and will be back many times

On a drive from central MD to Ocean City, this is my favorite and most highly recommended pit stop! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. As for the coffee, stick with espresso drinks, as they are consistently good. As for cold brew and nitro, my experience hasn't been as consistent/reliable. Unfortunately, as of Nov 2020, the inside is not open due to COVID. I understand, but I wish they would at least open the inside for bathroom use only. We had to use the single porta potty outside. All the being said, this is still my favorite pit stop!

We stopped here on our way back from the beach and were so pleasantly surprised to find it! It's kind of a random location right off the highway but I'm glad to see they were pretty busy. We ordered our food at the outside window and sat outside. In the Covid era they must only have outdoor seating right now, which I appreciated. We were able to snag a table under the shade next to the building. I would recommend getting some umbrellas for the other outside seating. The sun can be so inhospitable. We ordered a breakfast burrito and an açaí bowl. Both were DELICIOUS! Such quality and fresh ingredients. Prices are reasonable for the amazing quality of the food. The coffee here is also unbelievably amazing! The service is also so great, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I'm so glad I know this is here. It's super convenient for driving back from the beach. I would highly recommend this spot. You won't find a better food or coffee option.

The coffee tastes like what coffee supposed to taste like and love the aroma when you first walk in! Try the burritos or breakfast sandwiches as they are all made to order and really good too .

Stopped by Rise up coffee during the drive to Ocean City due to the strong Yelp reviews. The coffee is really great. Ordered their seasonal Spring Equinox coffee and enjoyed it so much I bought a bag to take home. The food is ok. I think our expectations were too high based on the reviews. The burrito bowl was mainly tater tots and could barely see/taste the chorizo. Service was friendly. With COVID, it's outdoor dining only and there were a good amount of picnic tables and cafe tables.

Always a great stop and idea. Every in the family likes the coffee and I love the non coffee choices.

The brewed coffee is really good, but it cannot offset the horrible taste of The Rise Up burrito. The inside of the burrito had slightly burnt eggs (brown), with nothing that looked like a meat or other discernable ingredients other than the avacado, it was green. If I was stopping here again, Iwould get the coffee, but little else. (Two stars for the coffee.)

I'm so happy to see that Rise Up is now in Cambridge! A huge fan of visiting the one in Easton, it's nice now not to have to make the drive. The new space is super nice. The wait was a bit long for drinks, but I'm assuming just opening, things will smooth out. Got a chocolate croissant and a lemonade, a tasty dose of sugar :)

I was very impressed with Rise Up. This shop is located in Cambridge, MD right off the highway. It has a cool outdoor seating area, beautiful interior with everything done custom by local artisans. And the shop has good coffee and great food. When we arrived around 10am they had a brisk business. You place your order at one counter and pick it up across the way at another. The line was long but moved very quickly. The shop is spacious and had a number of great tables for sitting and working or enjoying your food. There were a few people at each table and more than one person conducting a meeting over voip or Skype. We got a great breakfast burrito and bangers and smash. The prices were rock bottom inexpensive, too.

First time here. I live in Southern California. On a trip to visit my friend. Had their breakfast burrito with chorizo and avocado. It hit the spot! It was a good size if you're hungry. It was big but not too big. Perfect, cheesy, meaty, eggs, salsa, potatoes, avocados, delicious. I also had their iced americano and it was really good. It was not bitter and not too acidic. It was perfect. I put one shot of vanilla and a splash of milk. Lastly, everyone that works there is very friendly and kind. Go give it a try!

Fantastic customer service. The combination of Mad Eggs with Rise Up is executed very well, and the Chorizo omelette (ordered a burrito without the tortilla) was phenomenal. My wife had a sausage egg and cheese on biscuit that she described as perfectly moist and flaky. My americano was spot on, and we found their dining area to be a perfect place for a rainy Saturday brunch. Will definitely be back when we are in town.
