"Rise Up has several locations from Annapolis to Ocean City, but the roastery in Easton might be the best way to sample this coffee house and breakfast filling station. Pick up a bag of beans and order a bacon, egg, and cheese to go alongside an iced latte for the drive ahead." - Tim Ebner

Great coffee and terrific breakfast sandwiches. Great outdoor seating spaces. Most unique coffee shop campus I've ever seen.

I love the unique set up! There’s a tent with hot air blowing, and you order your coffee in the cafe, get your breakfast burrito from the stand outside, and eat in the tent! The matcha with almond milk was delicious, and they have a rooibos (African) tea that is a brand I hadn’t tried before (water & leaf tea company). The muffin was okay. Not amazing. But it had real berries and that’s what counts. Also, this is the only place open at 6. Every other place opens at 7. Plenty of parking. Tiny step up to get in but not big. Oh! And they have Natalie’s OJ and Harney & sons juice. Top notch!

Wish there were more locations! Stopped by on our way to Ocean City. Ordered online, which was very easy to do. It did state it would be about a 45 min wait (was Friday AM) so we ordered early. Service was quick and pick up was easy. The staff waited for us to arrive to warm the muffin. The muffin and coffee were really good! Def a must stop if you are in town or headed to the beach. It is only a minute or two off route 50- so easy to get to.

I love visiting the rise up in Cambridge so I decided to stop at the Easton rise up on the way home. I accidentally put a straw into a frozen hot chocolate that was ready bc I thought it was mine and then minutes later I saw a small come out and realized I had grabbed the wrong one and told the girl working behind the counter and apologized and tried to offer to just pay for it or pay the difference and keep the bigger one but she wouldn't let me speak, rolled her eyes, snatched it out of my hand, said "NO" and dumped it in the sink. Was very rude and unnecessary as it was a simple mistake. The girl who took my order was kind and explained to me where to pick up the food bc I didn't realize there were different pick up spots at this location.

Google
This was my first time trying Rise Up and it was absolutely delicious! The barista made sure to give me tips and suggestions based on what I normally drink, and ultimately I ended up choosing a hot house drip coffee, with their seasonal pumpkin spice syrup - so yummy!!!

Google
Just stopped by for a coffee. Got an iced mocha latte. It was pretty good. No seating inside but some seats outside if that's what you're looking for. No coffee Pic cause I drank it and it's coffee. You know what it looks like. Also got a cinnamon bun that is amazing. I took the picture after I ate half cause, I forgot. But it is good. They also have a drive up option at the location we went to.

April 2025 Stopped off for a quick jolt of java and tried the iced latte. Really great bold flavor, and fast, friendly service.

Google
Great coffee and great pastries. The offer blankets that you can take across the street to the open space. This was my first time visiting. The have a nice area in the back where you can watch coffee being roasted.

Heather C.

Yelp
Stopped in today for a quick bite. The man working there was friendly and very accommodating. I ordered a chai latte which was delightful as well as the yogurt parfait. It was definitely large and too much for me to eat in one serving. My dining partner ordered the avocado toast with a fried egg on top that she said was excellent. It was a warmer day so we sat in the covered area with the heat blower comfortably.

Allison N.

Yelp
Such a great pitstop on our road trips to the Eastern Shore. We stop here on the way back every time, and every time the food and coffee is awesome. It is kind of pricy but they give you so much food that I feel like it's not a bad value. The tater tots are especially amazing and I'd really recommend them, but I think you can't really go wrong with anything on their menu.

Mr C R.

Yelp
Only thing I have tried is to organic Maryland coffee and it is disgusting. Completely dissatisfied.. If you like 7-Eleven coffee or Days inn hotel coffee then this is the place to go but if you enjoy a nice cup of Folgers, 8oclock,(a real cup of coffee!) Then don't waste your time or money definitely will not be satisfied with this rot gut brew

Matt W.

Yelp
We left a separate review for the food under the Mad Egg truck entry, since that's where we got the food, but I'll do a brief recap: outstanding avocado toast and veggie breakfast burrito, unusual enough it wasn't just more of the same, prepared super fresh and at reasonable prices. The excellent, excellent coffee is a huge bonus as a breakfast place and if we could only come back and try one of the places we tried in and around Easton once more time, Rise Up / Mad Egg would be the place. Possibly among the most pleasant take out experiences I've had in recent memory.

Charles M.

Yelp
I love rise up. They have good products and great service. The pastries are good and the breakfast sandwich was decent. I think they have strong fresh coffee and i will be back.

Yelp
On my way to the beach, and I started craving coffee. We looked around at local spots and stumbled across this gem! Ambiance was great, food was delicious, and the coffee was even better (I am a plain coffee gal, so I got an iced americano - it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Great service and wonderful coffee. The facility was clean. Breakfast Sandwiches were delicious.

Miss F.

Yelp
Grey local coffee spot. Long time employees indicate a pretty positive work environment. Staff is awesome. And they spread a lot of donations and goodwill within our Easton community

Amber E.

Yelp
I don't recommend Rise Up to anyone I ended up in the hospital with 2nd degree burns because the top wasn't on my hot beverage properly I filed a report and I never got a response back so I now have a permanent scar down my leg from the scar Had to go to the ER and everything It's been a few years and no response I will never return to them again nor will I recommend them to anyone Their beverages aren't that great anyway!!!!!!!!

Jenn G.

Yelp
Easton location is perfect. I often stop here on my way home from walking RFT in the early mornings. Plenty of choices on how to start your day including yummy food from Mad Eggs, a small pop up hot breakfast truck on the side of the building. In the winter an oat milk latte is my go to, but the spring and summer months, I typically get their cold brew and a breakfast bowl filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage with a side of pico. Plenty of coffee and other merch to give out as gifts any time of the year, and they'll grind the coffee for you! The staff here is awesome! They work hard, but are super personable despite how hectic it gets! If it's too busy to sit outside on the patio, just walk across the street to a large pavilion filled with planed wood tables with enough seating for a large family reunion!!

Izabelle G.

Yelp
I use to love getting Rise Up in Easton while visiting family, but in recent times I've been very disappointed. The prices have drastically increased and in my opinion it's not worth it anymore. I love the coffee and food, but over $20 for one person is ridiculous. Thanks for the good times, but no more trips for me.

Brendan W.

Yelp
This is basically a high-end takeout; I had a really good sandwich here but at first I was disappointed with its size for the price; it's not a cheap fast food place but rather a fancy breakfast hole. The coffee is very good, but you pay for the quality. The sandwiches are prepared at a different location and you have to wait outside in the cold/rain/sunshine/snow whatever the weather to heat your name called. The food was very good and very dense and filling. I was there late for breakfast around 11.30 and the seasonal coffee had run out

Courtney K.

Yelp
Bottom Line: Reliable coffee, tasty pastries and Mad Egg sandwiches. My husband and I are big up Rise Up fans so we stopped at the Easton location when on our way home from Fenwick Island. I noticed that on the west side of the road they have a drive through coffee stand much like the St. Michael's flagship location. But on the east side of the road they have a bigger location that is a delightfully repurposed gas station. On a late Sunday morning we were easily able to find a parking spot right alongside the building. We both got black coffees and shared the best scone I've ever had. Darn, usually I stick to coffee and eggs but now I know how incredibly good the scones are! I thought the front of the shop was really cute and I liked the Mad Eggs Express station which I hadn't seen before. What I didn't realize is that in the back of the building is where they roast coffee. Had I been there on a day when they were roasting my nose would have lead me back there. Very cool. Service was friendly and we were in and out quickly. Overall, this is a cool spot and I'd love to come back on a weekday when they are roasting beans.

Christine C.

Yelp
We highly enjoy this location. We have been here a few times. Before COVID we were able to sit in front of the roasters and enjoy our breakfast. This last time was different but I felt safe. The register was in the window and I ordered a latte that came out perfect temp and delicious. I love their coffee. Our entire family enjoyed theirs. We also needed restrooms and it was nice to see that they brought in port o johns and they were clean. Parking is always easy and the staff is usually pretty friendly. We had a great experience.

Yelp
Rise up coffee roasters is a small gem in the coffee world located just outside St. Michaels. My bride and I stopped for some frozen beverages, Chocolate Banana frozen smoothie along with a frozen Hot Chocolate. We ordered a large and small and had them topped with fresh homemade whipped cream. Both drinks were outstanding, larger than expected and very tasty and satisfying. They were prepared quickly, efficiently and we were on our way in a matter of minutes.

Yelp
Stopped here on a Saturday morning on a stop over in Easton. Very nice coffee shop, delicious coffee... much better than what was available at the hotel I was staying at.

Jerry S.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Excellent nitro cold brew! Enjoyed it very much! We went early on a weekend and had a great time drinking coffee and talking outside on their furniture.

Luu D.

Yelp
Great coffee smoothie in Easton town. They also have good breakfast burritos too. Love it

Manikka L.

Yelp
I love Rise Up Coffee. It's a must have every time I touch the Eastern Shore! This time I stopped at the location on Easton on the way to Ocean City. I went through the drive-thru. It was quick and efficient on a holiday Saturday morning (Labor Day). A cafe au lait and chai latte, both with oat mill, and I was quickly back on the road to the beach!

Thomas L.

Yelp
Nice coffee shop. Good food, decent menu and pricing. The food/drink windows can be a little confusing, but it's all good. Nice picnic table gathering spot and the under tent seating across the street is nice.

Paul S.

Yelp
Probably the best coffee in Easton. The cafe is cute, limited seating but a busy atmosphere is energizing if you can find a place to sit. Service is excellent but sometimes distracted with how busy it is. If ever I have a question there's always good attention for an answer. Compared to the Bucks I much prefer their coffee - it's got all the robustness but none of the bitterness. And glad now that they have k-cups in decaf so I can enjoy a treat at home too.

Suz Z.

Yelp
These folks and their coffee are amazing! The entire team at the drive-through in Easton are friendly, personable, and craft great beverages, always with a smile! Michael, Annie, Silas, Katherine, Jonathon, and Mary all are great ambassadors for this gem of a coffee purveyor! "Pup cup" is a nice treat for my furry friend :)

B M.

Yelp
Everyone raves about Rise Up but I find it to be overrated and attribute that to the area's limited options. Everyone that works there is very friendly and the coffee is decent. I do also like what they've done with the outdoor space across the street. Otherwise, Blue Crab Coffee (in St. Michael's) or the Bāgery offer comparable coffee and better food with indoor seating and no slow moving lines. I don't mind Rise Up I just don't find them to be superior in anything they offer and offering strictly outdoor seating is a major drawback.

Bobby A.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! You will never be disappointed at Rise Up. Staff are very attentive and always friendly. Environment is perfect for a quick drop in or spending an hour working remote. Rise Up provides plenty of space for individuals like me who work remote and want to get out of their 'home-office' occasionally. Huge tables, great lighting, and power sources! Love the atmosphere. Stop in for a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Natasha U.

Yelp
I thought coffee was fine and so was sandwich but a bit overpriced. Two breakfast sandwiches and two xL coffees made breakfast cost nearly $30. A bit much for a takeout place and nothing really stood out about coffee or our sandwiches.

Linda W.

Yelp
Love the avocado toast! Great parking across the street with outdoor tables. Blueberry scones tasted very fresh with large berries

Jessica G.

Yelp
I didn't think I'd like this place as much as I do! I've been ordering an iced coffee with 2 pumps caramel and almond milk and it's so delish. You can't go wrong with coming here as they also have a huge menu and yummy food options. I'm so happy I found them. Here's a view of my beverage and the inside (:

Joe S.

Yelp
This place has really good coffee and they also have a large selection of coffee. They have both light and dark roasts and the flavors are awesome. Also, their coffee is fair trade if that's important to you. The staff is mega-friendly! Great service! Also, they partner with other businesses like Mad Eggs (breakfast foods). Lastly they have some high quality gear (t-shirts, mugs, etc)

Rose P.

Yelp
White mocha lavender coffee smoothie. Just do it. Promise you won't regret it... The next day we went back and I had it in latte form. It was good just not as good as the coffee smoothie. The place is busy, at least the times we went, and I can see why. Not only is the coffee good, but so are their pastries and breakfast (we had the bacon egg cheese biscuit and the rancheros huevos). Workers are friendly and they have it down pack- drinks come out pretty fast even though they're all hand crafted and made to order. The husband likes the fact you can go to the back of the shop to see the roasters. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Breakfast only looked like it was served during the morning hours and you order it inside but a trailer sits outside where they prep your order. If you're by one of their locations, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Rachel H.

Yelp
I never get tired of Rise Up. Excellent coffee and food. I love the 100% outdoor seating and hustle and bustle of the place.

Kim M.

Yelp
What a cool place! The coffee was amazing and we had breakfast as well. My husband and I both had the breakfast burritos and they were delicious. It was an unexpected treat and the huge outside tent seating is a great idea!

Tony K.

Yelp
Seems like what ever these owners touch... they give their all. I've visited many times and haven't met a girl behind the counter who isn't super pleasant yet. The coffee is tasty too.

Tricia G.

Yelp
I asked for a medium with whipped cream for $5.25 you would think I would get more in my cup and atleast fill the lid with whipped cream. I have barely any whipped cream

Genavie M.

Yelp
Best coffee EVER! I live on rise up, and the service is impeccable! Food and coffee that is made right, and offers quality, A++

Karisa G.

Yelp
We were on our way to Chincoteague and I was craving coffee. Thankfully we stopped at Rise Up, which was a fantastic find. They're a local coffee shop, serving up coffee and a tasty looking menu. I ordered a coffee smoothie for the husband and an iced coconut latte for myself. The coffee was delicious, well made, and really good. I didn't get food on this visit, everything sounded delicious. The vibe is relaxed, staff is friendly and also relaxed. I just wish they were closer to me! It definitely worth a visit.

Anna M.

Yelp
Organic coffee. Fresh. Cute interior. Friendly service. Drive through available. Parking and drive through is a bit clunky and too small.

David M.

Yelp
I have only been to their place in St. Michaels. I've been there about 20 times when I'm visiting family. Coffee is always lukewarm. I like my coffee served very hot. Taste is good but I like Dunkin Donuts coffee better

Caroline A.

Yelp
Rise up is always the best place to get coffee on the Eastern shore of Maryland. We look for the rise up stores. And we send rise up coffee to our daughter in Arizona which she loves.

Cecile P.

Yelp
1. Ambiance: This place is an absolute gem. I am so impressed by a coffee place. I absolutely love the concept layout and their drinks. Upon entrance, I was immersed in the smell of coffee and baked goods. Furthermore, there is a large space in the back with community tables and high chairs for the customers. There are wall arts everywhere with a hint of industry views to the multiple bags of coffee beans and machines in the background. I was told that this is the top 20 coffee shops in the nation and I can see why. 2. Food: The drinks were phenomenal. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the mocha with lavender coffee, but the drink was delicious with organic ingredients. It felt clean and refreshing. Furthermore, I had ordered the Mango Smoothies and Jamaican Iced Tea. You can't do any wrong these drinks. They were so refreshing and delicious; not a lot of sugar, and was tasty enough to where you don't feel guilty about drinking it. 3. Service: The cashiers were very friendly and nice. It gets really packed in here so definitely give them ample time to make your drinks. There are seatings in the back and the outside front of the coffee shop. 4. Costs: The drinks were approximate $4 - $6 depending on your selection. Since the ingredients were organic and the drinks felt so healthy and refreshing, I believe the prices are definitely worth it. You're getting a lot of bang for your buck if you go here versus going to Starbucks. 5. Overall Experience: I loved my experience and definitely will be back. I actually went back multiple times, because I am such a fan of this place. Side Notes: N/A

Nikita K.

Yelp
So delicious and the customer service was wonderful. Definitely the spot to go in Easton, MD

Jamie R.

Yelp
I went on a trip in this area and the owner of my Air b n b suggested this coffee shop. It exceeded my expectations. It is a very cozy, country feel coffee shop w a vivacious menu! I came on two occasions for breakfast w my fiancé and got the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito! Absolutely delicious. Their sauces are great, staff is great, and food is delicious. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Will certainly return if and when in the area!

Claudia Virginia A.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal! It's very small yet cozy! I got the Pineapple Smoothie. Very delicious, fulfilling and satisfying! But very cold, which is perfect on a hot summer day. Recommend

Nikki C.

Yelp
Yum! Visiting from out of town. Coffee and food were great! Online ordering and pickup were easy.

Cameron C.

Yelp
This place has the best thing I've ordered every year at least 1,2,3,4,6000 Times....a caramel coffee smoothie with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream ‍ man do I ever tell ya it's good

Michael S.

Yelp
they have good double espressos and great service I would recommend them to anybody that is a coffee lover.

Kara T.

Yelp
I was dying to go back and soon as I left. Get a $10 Rise Up growler of amazing, velvety cold brew (no milk or sugar needed!), and come back and they will refill it for $5!! Phenomenal! The roasting happens in an open area partitioned off in the back of the shop. High top tables are set up and it's a perfect spot to bring a laptop or a group meeting. Also, they sell Rise Up Klean Kanteens! Love! Rise Up seems to have some pop up drive-through kiosks around the area, including in St. Michaels but they unfortunately don't have cold brew there. The hipsters will have to trek to Easton for that.

Purvi D.

Yelp
OMG the breakfast sandwiches. So good. We went every morning while visiting Easton.

Lucille G.

Yelp
great coffee but my favorite drink is the Jamaican iced tea.The black tea with cloves, cinnamon, and other spices are just perfect for a hot summer day.

Latoya E.

Yelp
Rise up is truly a hidden treasure on Dover Road located in Easton Maryland. This place was recommended to me by the staff members at Easton high school. For once, I am glad I took the detour. This divey a little spot, does everything in house to include roasting their own coffee beans. You can sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch while the magic happens. The staff was super friendly and even gave me a free frozen coffee smoothie for being affiliated with the military. I truly felt welcomed. Because the weather was so hot I opted for the frozen coffee smoothie versus a traditional cup of coffee. But what clearly, I was the triple berry muffin. I will surely stop past here once again on my trips to the Eastern shore of Maryland. Truly an excellent experience overall

Sunshine S.

Yelp
I love this place! Every single time I've gone everyone who works there is super friendly and makes the atmosphere feel safe and inviting. The burritos!!! Girl don't get me started they are the BOMB and their coffee/tea is the best around. If anyone has anything bad to say about this place they're probably lying lmao
