Rise Up Coffee

The folks at Rise Up were helpful and friendly, and even gave us a small side cup of honey no charge. The only problem was that they take cash tips only and there is no option to tip if you use a card, so if you don’t have cash, you can’t tip. My husband had a very good double shot of espresso and my matcha latte with oat milk was excellent.

It's a drive up coffee stand. It was busy when we arrived later in the afternoon. The coffee was pretty good.

We stopped at the drive up location in St. Michael's on our way out of town. It was conveniently located. The service was friendly and quick. We had the hot chi tea latte and the original coffee smoothie. Both were fantastic!

Me and my husband always gets the rise up coffee and today was my first time getting the Hot Matcha latte. We order via drive thru located in St. Michael. After trying my first sip, it taste really bad! And i thought it was because of the matcha powder that they used. So i wait until we got home and open the cup and i asked my husband to smell cause i can’t take the smell when I’m drinking it. And yes I was right! It’s the milk! I don’t know if it’s expired or just really a bad milk. And look what i found on my 2nd sip! 🤮🤮🤮🤢 service is good! I’m just very disappointed and scared of getting drinks from them again.

One of the best coffees locally, ☕️ always busy, staff always happy . If you love proper coffee (not filter coffee), this is the place to go! Especially if you are like me and visiting from the UK 🇬🇧 best coffee 😍

The staff is always so friendly. The coffee smoothies are amazing! They also have the best lemonade. Very decently priced. I work right down the street from here and this is my favorite spot to go to for an afternoon pick-me-up!

Excellent choices freshly brewed with drive through convenience

Loved this spot! I went twice during my stay in St. Michael's. I tried an Iced Macadamia Nut latte and an Iced Cinnamon Toast Crunch ( both with almond mill). Delicious and quick service.

The drive up model is convenient, if slow. The real problem was that my cafe au lait came not even quite lukewarm, like they'd just dumped a bunch of cold milk in the cup. The cold brew was good, though.

If it's your first time here, you must try the Jamaican hot tea. Not really sure what's in it, but I was offered a sample and it was delicious! Not too sweet, a little tart on the finish, and caffeine loaded. I went with the cold brew and this had some zip. I was feeling great after a few hearty sips. Which was needed after the wedding party from the night before. Nice and smooth with a splash of almond milk. This is just a drive thru location with dual ordering windows to speed things up during those busy mornings. I do believe this is a credit/debit card only spot. Stay caffeinated friends.

Been coming here for 10 years and it's the best coffee ever! Love the staff and they're so quick with every thing. Quintessential Eastern Shore visit.

We randomly found the town of St Michael's and decided to take a day trip there. It was a fun drive across the Bay Bridge. On our way to downtown St Michaels we saw this tiny shack in the parking lot. I immediately yelped it and found out that they serve beverages, coffee and juices, as well as some breakfast items and pastries. On our way home, we stopped by the cozy shack and ordered two iced macchiatos and a matcha latte. The service was quick. I was worried that we might be holding up the drive thru lane with our order, then came to find out that they accept orders at both sides of the shack! It was perfect for a hot summer day! We all agreed that their flavor is better than starbucks. We will definitely remember to visit next time when we visit St Michaels

Wanted to balance out another review I just wrote with this positive, upbeat review. Been through this drive-thru on maybe 3 occasions in the past few years when I visited my friend's summer house. The various coffee drinks are one of the best I've had in Maryland, and they are friendly too. I keep this place in mind when going through St. Michael's.

Bottom Line: A drive through to get good coffee and friendly service at reasonable prices. Rise Up Coffee is a tiny building in a strip-mall parking lot that sells coffee and simple breakfast sandwiches. The have a drive through windows on both sides of the building so its easy to get in the queue regardless of from which direction you enter the shopping center. Service is friendly and the coffee is tasty. The prices are reasonable too! This Rise Up Coffee store is the flagship location. I believe they have eight locations now. Its great to see a local business thriving!

Rise up is amazing little spot with 2 drive up windows! Line or not you get what you want quickly and is absolutley delicious! I got a Iced Chai and bf got a Frozen Hot Chocolate! We'll def be going back and enjoying more!

Amazing service from the staff they were extremely friendly and drinks were ready super quick. They have alternative milks and their coffee was delicious.

This is a tiny shack drive-thru coffee place. You almost miss it if you drive by too fast. Cute little place, it was walking distance from where we were staying and lady let us order even though we were walking, not driving, hehe. Two young ladies work inside, very efficiently run and the coffee!!! I tried the almond latte, it was heavenly. My guest tried their frozen hot chocolate, she said it tasted like smores and she loved it. We are coming back tomorrow!!

I love getting the oat honey iced latte. It's sweet enough but nothing too crazy and nice and simple. I have not been bold enough to try anything different but I always come here when I can

This is a dumpy little coffee hut but damned if it doesn't have the best coffee in the area! Set in a not-so-scenic parking lot, Rise Up coffee really got me going with a giant latte. The coffee is smooth and the roast is careful--something I would expect from a city coffee shop where baristas actually train to make excellent drinks, roasts are done at the micro level and beans carefully selected, etc. I don't know where Rise Up gets their beans, but if you are in the area and looking for a cup of coffee, this is 100% the place to go. There is a cuter coffee shop in town, but their brews do not compare to Rise Up. And just so you know, I am a huge coffee snob who considers Starbucks on the level of say, gas station coffee.

Thankful I stopped by on a whim. So delicious!! Had a lavender iced latte. Would definitely recommend. Really quick service for a tiny drive through.

Affable people and WHOA such delicious beverages. Sure it's an unassuming hut in a parking lot, go ahead and pull up and thank us all later.

I absolutely love this coffee and I am willing to go out of my way just to visit. The place has a great atmosphere, the drinks are always delicious and the quality is out of this world. The staff is helpful and they make great recommendations if you feel like trying something new.

I love this place. They generally get orders right even when I order for the whole fam. They have excellent Covid protocols in place and everyone is very pleasant. Coffee and food are excellent. One of my favorite places to stop in Easton.

Delicious beverages and ethical coffee! Be prepared to wait a bit on busy days though. It's a small shack, you can't except service as speedy as other drive thru places. Other than the sometimes long wait, great place to stop for a coffee or a yummy pastry. Especially with the knowledge that just about everything you're getting is ethically sourced and doesn't contain anything "fake". Always tip your baristas!!!

I went here on my way back home out of St. Michaels. I would've missed it if it wasn't for a local who me that's where to get the coffee! Best part!! It's a drive up. For a little shack they really have there act together. My mocha was delicious- better than Starbucks, cheaper too. The service was fast and super friendly!

10 STARS! After staying at The Inn at Perry Cabin we had to find this place! The Inn serves their coffee and we couldn't get enough of it all weekend and just had to buy some of our own! I own & operate a seasonal market & coffee house in Ocean City MD; and this coffee by far- exceeds my own that I will be contacting whom ever I need to so that I may carry their product in my market for all to enjoy! For the less than 5 minutes that we spent talking with the employee; his service was sensational and he couldn't have been more pleasant and informative. The next time we visit St Michael- we will absolutely stop by Rise Up again and again!

Worth the trip from the DC area, almost by itself. Rise Up is outstanding at what it offers: fresh roasted, uniquely flavored, cozy and delicious coffee and top-of-the-line pastries. We stopped for a latte at the main store on Dover and were greeted with friendly, well-informed service and wonderful, authentic, large drinks. Later in the evening, our party stopped at the shack (remember the MotoPhotos of the 80s?) on Talbot Street ... and although they were "closed" they re-opened and went out of their way to serve some desperate travelers coffee that is reminiscent of the high-quality, unique blends and brews from places that I have only found in Portland Oregon. We bought a couple of pounds of their blends from Burundi and Guatemala and have shared them with friends ... to great acclaim.

I've needed to travel to Easton several times in the past few months and this place is my go-to breakfast spot before heading to work. Great coffee, great food and nice people.

I stopped by chance at the coffee hut while I was passing through St. Michael's on the way back to the city. I was tempted to bypass but the long line but was so glad I waited. The drinks were fantastic and the guys working were very friendly and patient answering all my questions (yes I'm that girl--what's in your coffee smoothie, wait I want skim). I had a coffee smoothie which was unreal..still dreaming about that. Others had the iced chai and hot chai with homemade whipcream. Even better-I found out that Rise Up will roast and send you beans with free shipping. Now if only they would deliver coffee smoothies to DC...

Fantastic coffee! Everyone running the shack is incredibly friendly and efficient. The lines can get backed up, but they move quick! I can't get my coffee from anywhere else now.

One of the bestest best besty best awesome coffees I have ever had. I can't wait to go back. It's worth the trip alone. I bought some coffee to take home it was so good!! You need some #RiseUp in your life!!

Hard to top this Easton roaster with the friendly smiles and awesome joe. Try some vegan, veggie and/or organic foods too. St Michaels location is a Brew Thru while Easton has tables inside and out. Excellent!

A cute shack manned by friendly staff serving good coffee! The frozen hot chocolate is delicious. For about $4, you get a cup of deep, chocolate flavor topped with mildly sweetened whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Beats Starbucks' sugary frappes any day. I just wish it were a little closer to town.

This is the best coffee we have had North of Florida. The latte was excellent as well!

Amazing can not say enough good things! Love this location and the Easton one! This ones the best staff wise tho they r so friendly and almost always I get amazingly consistent lattes and smoothies!! Which really is a compliment becuz when I go to Starbucks or dunkin donuts 1 out of 3 coffees r good where as here 99.5 out of 100 are amazing!

The best coffee ever. I got to get my rise up every morning on my way to work. They even sell it at whole foods in annapolis which I pick up when I shop there sometimes. Better quality and prices are more reasonable then starbucks!

LOVE this little drive through coffee shop. I pass it every morning/day when I drop/pick up the kids from school. The cappucino is my favorite! Definitely recommend this place! Sometimes the lines are long but that only shows how good the coffee is. Worth the wait.

This Rise Up Coffee is a drive through. It's a small little shack in a parking lot and cars drive by on either side of it to order a quick coffee or hot/cold drink. They have a pretty good menu, but most items are slightly expensive. The quality is nice, though. The customer service is fairly good, too. The employees are friendly and quick.

Even if I did not like coffee, Rise Up would turn me into one. Whether you want espresso, cappuccino, just coffee, or a smoothie, you will not be disappointed. Don't overlook the fact that Tim and his crew are as environmentally responsible as possible. Cannot visit St Michaels without a stop at Rise up.

This is the place my Mom gets her coffee ritually. I've always been able to get a good cup of coffee or whatever other grand espresso concoction I can come up with there too. It's pretty awesome to be able to pull up to that little trailer of a coffee bar and watch them whip this stuff out.

What a tiny coffee shop. I was going to stop at Blue Crab Coffee because a) it's right smack in the middle of town, and b) what a cute name for a coffee shop, but then I passed the turn off of the main street that I would have needed to take to find it, and then the next turn was a one-way going the wrong way, then the next turn was into the municipal parking lot . . . . sigh. Too hard by car, maybe if I'd been on foot. So I drove another 3 minutes down the road and turned into the laaaaarrrrrge and spaaaacious parking lot and pulled right up to RISE UP. What nice guys working there! And good coffee. Real coffee. Strong coffee. Tastes like they invested in an expensive espresso machine and know how to use it. And it was FAST. Which I love. Fast. Fast. Fast. I hate spending 10 minutes just to get a cup of coffee. So this is the perfect place to stop for coffee when you're on your way into or out of St. Michael's. Or any which-a-way if you're choosy about the quality of your java.
