They have a really nice outdoor patio area, and it is great if you want to bring your dog. The cornbread was okay, nothing special. The chicken was good and nicely seasoned. The real standouts were the mac and cheese and the carne pizza. Those are the dishes I would definitely recommend. The broccolini was just okay and did not really stand out.

My husband and I had a date night here recently. Sat in the bar because the restaurant was packed. Always a good sign in my book. We had a great night and the Holiday decorations were beautiful. The bar tender, Ash was very attentive despite working the bar solo. We laughed and chatted it up. All in all a good night.

Needed something new to eat since I'm in the area often, found this place and ordered the woodfire Classic Pizza, came with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom with basil on top with traditional tomatoes sauce. Food came out quickly and service was great. Was seated right away with no wait. Will definitely be adding this place to return

Daniel and Leticia took great care of our party of 8. We had hungry little kids and adults, and they got us taken care of right away. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I also want to give an extra thank you to Daniel! I was very impressed with how he handled an issue with one of our orders with urgency and professionalism. Menu was a nice surprise. I was expecting amazing pizza but we got that and more. The prime rib was delicious as were the ribs and chicken. I’m glad we chose Rise for our post baseball tournament. What a great experience!

I liked the atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious, but the meats and sauces are not very good. Steak was chewy, undercooked and not high quality at all.

Google
Ordered Margherita pizza with olives and jalapeno, I've always been a fan of their Margherita and tried these extra toppings. The pizza was good, as usual. Someone asked me if I wanted ranch and got me their house-made ranch which was great. The drink (rad ... in the non-alcoholic section) was refreshing. I there alone but did not get bored, ambiance is nice.

Grabbed two pizzas, a Caesar salad, and sangria with my parents here a few weeks ago and glad I stopped by. It's definitely a more elevated sit-down pizza spot. The service was great and despite it being dinner time on a Sunday, we were seated right away. Obviously, their highlights are the wood fire pizzas. I was a bit disappointed by the ham and pineapple one. It just felt like it was missing a little something. The margherita pizza, however, was great! Adding the little dash of crushed red peppers was perfect. Lastly, the Caesar salad was a solid one, along with the sangria. Overall, I would come back here but I wouldn't go out of my way to. Service: 5/5 Food: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Google
This was my first time ordering from Risewood Fire Pizza. Daniel, the supervisor, was very nice and professional, great customer service and friendly attitude. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. The pizza had a very wet bottom, and the dough ended up soggy. I also paid extra for chicken topping, but there was barely any chicken on the pizza. I also ordered the rotisserie chicken, which came with chimichurri sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was more like oil with herbs, not really a proper chimichurri. It lacked flavor and didn’t do much to complement the chicken. I really wanted to enjoy everything, and the service was great, but the food didn’t meet expectations this time. I hope the kitchen can improve on these points.

Yelp
I had such a great experience at Rise Woodfire Pizza! The food was delicious and the service was even better. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor -- you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like it. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It's the kind of place that feels comfortable whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a family meal. If you're in the area and craving good wood-fired pizza, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Mmm I rate this place a 4.5. We came here on a Friday around 6 for a party of 6. I we got seated right away as the restaurant was empty. As the ight gone by, it was pretty lively and poppin! We ordered the corn bread, a few sandwiches, a few pizza, salad and a steak. All were delicious except for the pizza. Don't get me wrong, it was good but I wish it was cooked a lil longer as I like my crust crispy a d not soggy. The prick g is a lil expensive but everything is expensive now in the Bay Area. I hope they get their beer selection sorted out as they do not have a huge variety and it was a lil on the pricey side. I believe it was $9 or $10 for a glass.

Yelp
First, just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the ambience of this place during holiday season with their lighting and decor. Now, onto the food, I personally tried the brussels sprouts which were a really tasty appetizer and the double pepperoni pizza. I added bacon to the pizza and it was great. I thought the thin crust was tasty, but also wish it was a little firmer since it seemed like the slices were kind of melting whenever I picked one up.

Yelp
I had a Pinot Nior from France by the glass good option. Lots of full bottle options. Elected for the wood fire pizza which was a real treat. So good I ate the leftovers cold the next day for lunch. The amount of toppings was ideal. We sat out on the patio with the heaters. Very comfortable. The service was also impeccable.

Yelp
This was our first time trying Rise and thought it was pretty decent, though a tad expensive for what it is. The ambiance, level of service and experience was spectacular on a Saturday afternoon. The calabrese honey and bbq chicken were both ok and a great place to go to lunch if you have guests and want a great service experience. They charged $1 for ranch but it was thick, tasted great, and looked like it was made in house.

Yelp
RISE brings some flavor to the neighborhood, the food was good and the variety surprised me. We came here for my girlfriend's birthday with her family. The menu has everything from pizzas to whole rotisserie chickens! Take care of yall chickens! So we went innnnn! We ordered meatballs for an app, a French dip sub, two pizzas (one garden, one pepperoni), and rotisserie chicken with mac n' cheese. Everything tasted solid. A little pricey, but you definitely get options! We got options over here! They did have an extra surcharge if you order beef, which was kind of random, but whatever, the food overall was good and the service was friendly. Not a bad spot and a fun experience. Woo hoo!

Yelp
It's nice to have something so close to home by in the way of Wood fire. Service is sometimes delayed but always friendly. The pizza is all I've tried so far which is middle of the road but still better than the big 5 normal pizza delivery places. The open concept is nice when sitting inside and has very family feel type of restaurant.

Yelp
Some really tasty pizza and pretty bomb wings to accompany it! Outdoor seating is very nice while watching some games on their screens! Great stop before the Niners game

Yelp
I rarely write reviews on Yelp but the food was so good that I feel it's my duty to write this for posterity. The Pesto Lemon Shrimp pizza was on their "R&D menu" and oh maa lord it was delicious. I respectfully told the server this needs to be a permanent menu item. Neapolitan pizza style cooked in a wood oven was perfectly charred around the edges. I overindulged and it will cost me a nap. The kids was good too but I got that to distract my kids from the real food because I wasn't in a sharing mood. The half rotisserie chicken was cooked to perfection! Most non-fine-dining restaurants overcook the chicken, but not here. They served a perfect half chicken with charred lemon and incredible chimichurri sauce. They also have beef ribs, great salad selections, and a tempting dessert menu. And I will be back to try other menu items, God willing! Service was very good too and it has a nice ambience.

Yelp
The restaurant was nice, plenty of seating, the staff were nice and the food was good. We went on a Friday night and got seated right away. We ordered: Cornbread: good but not a fan of the whole kernels. Butter was delicious. Mac and cheese: not great, was really watery and not very cheesy and so not have much flavor Calibrese and honey pizza: delicious! The crust was perfectly cooked and the flavors were great! Would come back for this. Wish there was more honey though. Apple pie: not good at all. It tasted weird and the pieces of apple were small which I didn't like. The crust and ice cream was good. Overall, a good place for pizza

Yelp
I saw that Rise was featured on Check Please, Bay Area, and came for dinner the next Friday. You don't need a reservation, but I recommended getting one if you prefer booth seating. I recommended asking for a table in the main area because it gets loud near the secondary room. I think they should put something to dampened the sound in there. We didn't get a pizza and stuck with their roasted entrees. Everything was cooked perfectly. I would skip the prime rib. I think I'll go with chicken wings over the roasted chicken next time. Beef Ribs are good too but I think I'd prefer them dry. All the sides we ordered were on point. The fries, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts were all good. The grassfed meatballs were moist and the bread was fire toasted. They gave us free cookies just because the show led us here.

Yelp
Pizza is always a good option when you don't know what to eat for dinner. I came here with my parents and it was their first time. We ordered the most popular pizzas - Medjool, Date & Chèvre and the Calabrese & Honey. Both pizzas were good but the Medjool was slightly more my favorite. Our server was excellent and came by often to check in on us. My parents and I had a good time.

Yelp
My husband and I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. It's beautiful inside. It's modern, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with warm colors that make it feel inviting and stylish. Service was on point. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly, which we appreciated. I ordered the salmon dish with Caesar salad and broccolini. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The salmon was nicely seasoned and cooked just right. I really enjoyed the Caesar dressing. It had great flavor. My husband had the Prosciutto di Parma pizza, which was just okay for us. We usually prefer a crispier crust, and this one had a softer, floppier undercarriage. He also got the mac and cheese on the side, and that was a hit. It's rich, cheesy, and comforting. Overall, a lovely spot with good food and great ambiance

Yelp
Full blown total experience. Great food - I had the Carne pizza and added mushrooms and it was perfect. The crust was light but a great mix of doughy and crunchy, and one of the best thin crusts I've ever had. The meat was cooked perfectly, especially the sausage and the mushrooms were a perfect balance for all the meat. Fresh mozzarella was brilliant, with the right amount of pull and still being crisp in certain parts. The only part of the pizza that was okay was the tomato sauce. It wasn't the tartness I usually enjoy, but with all of the other ingredients, it wasn't missed. Great ambiance - it's LOUD in here, which is great for a group outing, but maybe not so much if you're looking for intimacy. Great service - The staff here was very attentive. Since I was at the bar, the bartender was my server, but she was great about checking in and keeping busy with incoming drink orders. I haven't given a 5-star review in a long time. This place definitely earned it.

Yelp
Food: Excellent Vegetarian and Prosciutto Pizza. Flavorful, fresh and generous toppings. Chocolate brownie cookie was fresh and delicious. Service: Excellent, friendly and very attentive staff. Ambiance: Modern and very elegant decor inside, very welcoming, clean and well-lit. Overall excellent experience on a Sunday night.

Yelp
Short Story: A good place for both pizza, rotisserie chicken, and yes even ribs! Long Story: I came here on an early Saturday around 11am. The place is a bit empty and we were promptly seated. It's a large restaurant with several TVs and a nice bar area. We ordered the double pepperoni pizza, half local chicken, beef back ribs, wings, etc. The service is nice and attentive. The prices are in line with expectations and you do get generous portions. Verdict: I'll go back!

Yelp
Been wanting to go here for a while, and finally made my way to their happy hour! I sat at the bar with my mom, we were one of the few people in there, so service was fast! I like how you can see the Woodfire oven and the kitchen area from the bar/ restaurant. The gatsby drink wasn't our favorite, something about it just didn't hit. But the food did! The date pizza was so so good, great crust and good topping ratio of everything. They come and graded fresh parm on it as well. The meatballs were sooo amazing!! So tender, the spoon just slide right thru them to cut & on the bread! It's like make your own mini meatball subs! The truffle fries were amazing, I'd come back just for that, and the cookie!!!! The cookie with the brownie in it is my new favorite thing, it was so beyond good, they have them at the hostess stand in a jar for sale, I'm going to stop in one of these days just for that. The banana cream pie was more like a flan on top of the bananas I felt like? Different twist, but still good. Also got a slice of the basque cheesecake. Out of the three, the cookie was my favorite. I want to start coming for happy hour more!

Yelp
We came in for Father's Day and it wasn't super busy. We were seated almost instantly and given waters. Staff was very friendly and funny The restaurant itself had beautiful lighting, furniture, and ambiance. The bathroom was clean and pretty too! French fries were yum. They come with a mayo buttery sauce that paired super well. Texture of the fries are good and not too soggy nor crispy. The half bird in my opinion was a little plain and dry, but I'm not a big rotisserie fan in general. The asparagus was super yum and I loved the garlic garnish on top.Chimichurri sauce was also good! Mashed potatoes were very buttery and good. It paired great with the other dishes. The prime rib was super yum! The au jus pairs perfectly with it. Mac and cheese was pretty plain but not bad at all. I loved the calabrese honey pizza! The flavor was soooo good the hot honey went perfect with the toppings. Only note was that it was a little too sweet and oily.

Yelp
Another great experience at one of my favorite spots!! The chicken never disappoints! Great customer service at the bar!!

Yelp
What type of person doesn't like pizza? A weir-dough. Everything looked amazing, and the interior was really nice with a decent amount of parking available outside. However, the service was slow considering how few people were in the restaurant. The staff recommended the banana cream pie, but it didn't live up to the hype. The pizzas looked great, but were served at room temperature, which was disappointing. I'd give them a second chance.

Yelp
Went to dinner here for first time. Very busy place with attentive, polite servers. One of us ordered Italian Chopped Salad which was delicious, and the other ordered Beef Back Rib+Arugula pizza. Maybe due to just a different flavor expectation, the pizza was not as robust tasting as hoped for, and there was less meat than expected.

Yelp
We tried some place new for daughter's bday. Party of 9. This place beautiful and roomy inside! Great for big groups. Our orders, pizza, prime rib, chicken and rib combo, whole rotisserie chicken, side were sweet potatoes, French fries, coleslaw, mash potatoes and Cesar salad. Only complaint was my food was not so hot I sent back the mash potato to be reheated and the gave me a new one which was much better. Prime rib was good and tender. Chicken was ok make sure you get sauce bland if no sauce. Service was good. I also got then banana pie and chocolate brownie cookie. It was ok. Lastly was first for us. They charge $3 per person service charge if you bring in a cake.

Yelp
I recently had a great time at this pizza place with my family. We ordered two pizzas, a Caesar salad, and sangria. It's a more upscale sit-down pizza spot, and the service was excellent. Even though it was dinner time on a Sunday, we were seated right away. Of course, the star of the show is their wood-fired pizzas. I was a bit disappointed by the ham and pineapple one. It just didn't quite hit the mark. But the margherita pizza was absolutely delicious! The little dash of crushed red peppers was the perfect touch. The Caesar salad was also a solid choice, and the sangria was refreshing. Overall, I'd definitely come back here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. Service: 5/5 Food: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Food: 3/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 Noise level: Moderate noise Seating type: Indoor dining area, Bar area, Outdoor patio / terrace, Booth seating Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free

Yelp
I came here with a group of 10 coworkers after work for drinks and dinner. It was a very nice environment and the food was delicious. The menu is a mix of traditional dishes as well as modern flavors of pizzas. I had the chicken Parmesan, my coworkers got a variety of pizzas and some bowl dishes. The Woodfire margarita was also very good. I think this restaurant is a hidden gem in the area.

Yelp
Brother, as a pizza lover, this arugula short rib pizza isn't it. The flavors of pork, arugula (usually pungent) and carmelized onions don't even present themselves in this pie. The massive amount of ricotta cheese levels you feeling regret. The ricotta totally numbs the sensational flavors intended for this pizza. The crust looks pretty but it can't even hold the weight of the toppings. The only good thing about this visit were the veggies with ranch. We ordered the Anji Amarillo wings which were mid, at best came in second. The breading was soggy. Flavor was ok. I'm honestly shocked someone thought this pizza was good. Maybe it's personal but I've had a lot of pizza in my day, and I've never been as disappointed as I was today when I ate this pizza. This is horrible. Save your money and just get veggie side and ranch.

Yelp
Rise is a newer pizza restaurant at Rivermark. The place is nice and clean but we felt like the interior design was just a bit disjointed. The service was efficient and the food runner/dish collector was really fast. The waitress did her job but I didn't feel like she was very friendly or welcoming. The meatballs were okay. They were served hot with some tomato sauce, but they didn't have much flavor. It's almost like they were boiled and under seasoned. The pizza was actually really good. I usually prefer the deep dish Chicago pizza but the crust on this Salsiccia pizza was perfect. The fennel sausage was also great but I think they should be a bit more generous with the toppings.
google avatar

Yelp
The rotisserie chicken was disappointing. While they nailed the seasoning and I loved the charred lemon, the breast meat was way drier than what you'd get at Costco - and I tried it right when it came out fresh. The dark meat was tender but still wasn't as juicy as it should be. You can tell they're overcooking the chicken - it was either sitting in the warmer too long or they pulled it way past 165°F. I get that people are scared of pink chicken, but some customer education could go a long way. I've had rotisserie chicken at other restaurants that were cooked until all pink was gone past 165 and still were juicy, likely through a good brine and marinade. They might want to try spatchcocking the birds for more even cooking. I wasn't blown away by the wood-fired pizza either. I always get a margerita pizza when trying a new spot - it's my way of comparing places and this one was just okay. I also got the honey calabrese which is a pretty standard combo across all the woodfired pizza shops. The crust had too much flop, and I wish the dough had more rise and yeastiness to it. It's what you'd expect from wood-fired pizza, but nothing made it stand out from all the other places I've tried around the country. The mac n cheese was very one dimensional and was like velveeta. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. At least the service was great, and the interior has a really nice vibe that works well for hanging out with friends or going on dates.

Yelp
A restaurant that specializes in rotisserie chicken and pizza, located in the Rivermark plaza. Came here on a weekday night - no wait to get seated, as it wasn't that busy. My partner and I decided to get the following: - Rotisserie Chicken (Half Bird) with a side of brussel sprouts and truffle parmesan fries (costs extra): The chicken was a bit dry and lacked flavor, especially the meat. The skin was nice and flavorful though. Brussel sprouts were good as well as the fries. - The Brunch: This sounded good on paper.. but was probably the most flavorless pizza I've ever had. Most of the flavor came from the bacon, but there wasn't that much on the pizza. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the food here, especially for the price. It's a shame since the restaurant looks nice and service was decent.

Yelp
Happy Hour at the bar option is great. Plenty of seating- it might be a little crowded when full though. Great place to watch a game. - Ordered buffalo wings for an appetizer. It was only 5pc for $9 compared to 8pc from the regular menu. - The prosciutto pizza was also really good. Party of two and there were 3 slices left over to take home. - The Harissa Spiced Hummus was okay- though the bread was a little stale and cold because of all of the oil and seasoning . - Everything paired well with the red sangria. Would definitely come back to try their Rotisserie chicken.

Yelp
My close friend loves the Rise Pizza in Burlingame so I were excited to try their new location in our area with her. It's in the rivermark plaza so parking can be a pain. Suggest parking closer to the library and walking a little bit. It's a beautiful restaurant! Spacious with lots of seating. A separate bar area. Looks like their outdoor seating area and private room is still under construction. You can make reservations online if you want to plan ahead. Appetizers: -Grass fed meatballs: 10/10! Fluffy, flavorful sauce, and the bread is really good -Truffle fries: 9/10. Not very truffle-y but some damn good fries! They were warm and crispy. Their aioli is really good too -Jalapeño corn bread: 10000/10!!! A must order! -Greek salad: 7/10. Nothing special, regular ol' Greek salad Pizza: their dough is really good!! The crust has a great chew. Ask for a side of ranch and some of their hot honey for dipping and *chefs kiss* -Carne: 9/10. A meat lovers pie! The prosciutto and sausage were delicious. -Calebrese + honey: 9/10. The group favorite! Lacked honey but it's available on the side at no extra charge. -Ham, roasted pineapple+jalapeño: 8/10 pretty good. The chunks of pineapple were a little too large. It all kinda just fell apart while eating it. The jalapeños were a little mushy too. Dessert- -Chocolate celebration cake: 1000/10 if you are a chocolate lover. It was a little too rich for my friends because it's also a dense cake. But wow, it's decadent and perfection paired with the caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. -Brownie stuffed chocolate chip cookie: 9/10. They warmed it up for us and it was soft and mushy. Yum! Very chocolate-y as well. The sea salt was a great addition. We will be coming back soon!

Yelp
After hearing my sister rave about the greatness of Rise Woodfire Pizza & Rotisserie, I knew i had to test the hype. With my daughter killing her FIRST performance at school, i decided to celebrate the success with dinner at Rise. Parking was kind of a headache since it was wet out and parking was far and few in between due to all of the neighboring eateries @ Rivermark Village. The establishment itself was kind of bare with maybe 2 other parties already seated and dining. We were greeted by a host and seated. Menus were provided - children's menu available. The options are not lacking but is not overwhelming. Dinner Consisted of: -CHICKEN + RIBS COMBO (fries and broccoli chosen for sides) -CARNE WOODFIRED PIZZA (+$2 for added onions) -GREEK SALAD Food seemed to come out in a timely manner. The greek salad was great- refreshing, light, and the lemon herb vinaigrette was tasty. The carne pizza was good- the woodfire char flavoring definitely stood out, toppings were plentiful, and the pie itself was sturdy enough to hold it's shape. The disappointment lies with the chicken and ribs combo. The two pcs of ribs were great, sure, I would have hoped there was more meat on the bones but there were zero complaints- meat was tender and fell off the bones while the flavoring deserved 2 solid thumbs up. The rotisserie chicken was an absolute fail- the flavoring was more on the bland side and 100% DRY!!! Condiments couldn't save it. Overall, I can see a lot of potential when it comes to Rise. Unfortunately my first experience here was not enticing enough for me to want to come back any time soon. It was off-putting to feel very rushed during out meal when there was clearly no lack of seating. It was as if the staff was anticipating a large crowd to miraculously appear and nobody ever really came to fulfill that assumption. If you have a slow eating toddler like myself, I wouldnt recommend dining here and STAY AWAY FROM THAT AWFULLY DRY CHICKEN.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night with friends and I must say this is a very good place for wood fire pizza. For appetizers we went with jalapeño corn bread which had the jalapeño flavor with corn and... bread. It comes with a slightly sweet honey butter which made it a sweet treat. Next we got the Burrata + Tomatoes with Pesto which was a very refreshing treat. I'm a big fan of the pesto here and the burrata on the toast made it a nice appetizer. For pizzas we went with margherita which was solid, just slightly wet. The sauce went all over the plate but it's a nice subtle melody of tomato pizza with basil. Next we got the salsiccia which was a nice savory pizza with chives and fennel seeds. We added pesto too and made for a very nice hearty pizza. Lastly we got the calabrese + honey. I don't really taste the honey except for on the crust so for me it wasn't that salt and sweet pizza I was hoping to be. It was just another ham pizza at the end of the day. For drinks, I ordered the nectar on the rise which I absolutely love. Very nice tequila with ginger beer cocktail. My friend ordered peacock daisy which didn't have a lasting taste. It felt flat and not great. Service isn't too bad. We had to keep asking for water when our jar was empty. We also had to wait forever for our waiter to come get the check. Overall, our next door table was super noisy, super belligerent because they were so inebriated. But overall without them, this place would be a chill pizzeria.

Yelp
Needed something new to eat since I'm in the area often, found this place and ordered the woodfire Classic Pizza, came with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom with basil on top with traditional tomatoes sauce. Food came out quickly and service was great. Was seated right away with no wait. Will definitely be adding this place to return.

Yelp
The Marguerita pizza was delicious even if it burnt the roof of my mouth! And the brussel sprouts were amazing! Crispy, oily and delicious!! The location was beautiful and not super busy when we went. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It's pricy but we enjoyed it. There's a whole bar and open kitchen plan so you can see the pizza coming in and out - fun for parents and kids alike!

Yelp
Came in here on a Monday night to try the restaurant that replaced Piatti. We ordered three pizzas after learning that they are all the same 12-inch size. That gives you the flexibility to try different selections without blowing the budget. Margherita Crushed tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, torn basil. We added artichoke and sausage. Carne Crushed tomato sauce, mozzarella, Italian, fennel, sausage, Italian, ham, grass, fed beef, meatball, pepperoni, Parmesan. This was the most overrated. I didn't think the meat was fresh at all. Napoli Crushed tomato sauce, mozzarella, buffalo, sea salt, Parmesan, torn basil, EVOO. Great flavor but the thin crust gets soggy very fast. In fact because of that they only serve this dining in - no take outs. Otherwise, the sauce is pretty savory and quenching. Broccolini - a bit undercooked and under seasoned. Brussel sprouts - the best veggie side. Has some personality on display. Not Your Mom's Coleslaw - comes with buttermilk horseradish dressing. Pretty good, a little peppery and different. Overall value not quite there. Service regular. That's all

Yelp

Yelp
WOW! What a great first impression! We will most definitely be back! We tried 3 pizzas: the Bruschetta pizza, carne and pesto shrimp pizza and all tasted fantastic. They all had a distinct taste that set each pizza apart especially the pesto shrimp... dang! The service was great and the pizzas came out FAST! The venue is very spacious with plenty of tables. Considering celebrating my birthday here in the near future!

Yelp
My lunch buddy and I came here for the first time. It's more than a wood-fired pizza place, they have a variety of food items from appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and desserts to prime rib, rotisserie chicken, and fish. They have a kids menu, too. We ordered a Margherita and Double Pepperoni pizzas to share, and I must say they tasted AMAZING! The mozzarella cheese and sauce were so flavorful and fresh! And the crust...chewy and soft! Just scrumptious! Nice touch adding basil atop the Double Pepperoni. Since it was a Friday, it was Pie Day when you can get a slice of their homemade apple, blueberry, cherry, or mango pies and a couple of other select desserts at a reduced price. We tried the mango pie and it was pretty good. Service was great and the ambiance was bright and open with high ceilings. The only downside is that it gets very noisy once the place fills up. Very nice restaurant. They have a beautiful bar with shelves of liquor behind the bar, framed in front of the wide window. They have two monitors to watch sports. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Delicious food and our server Felicia was great. It was my husband's and mine first time trying Risw Woodfire and she walked us through the entire menu. We found a new date place!

Yelp
I absolutely love the interior of this place. When you see pizza it doesn't usually say Rotisserie and the inside usually looks like a bar hang out. This place stepped it up. It has the most welcoming and beautiful decor I've seen in a pizza place. I decided to dine at the bar as I was dining alone for work and was staying practically next door to this place. I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious salad and the burrata and fruit plate. I wanted something light but I LOVE BURRATA! These were both perfect choices and still felt fairly light. The bar keep was always there to fill my glass and make sure everything was delicious. All 5 stars, can't wish to dine here again! Prices are really good for the quality and what you get portion wise.

Yelp
Eyes on the Rise The sister restaurant to Burlingame's Rise Pizzeria, Rise Woodfire is a mom-and-pop done good story. It all began with by a local couple who had a passion for making pies the proper way, using a wood-fired oven. Housed in the former Piatta Italian location, they've renovated it from white tablecloth Italian, to a rustic local neighborhood joint that just happens to sling wood-fired pizzas and also happens to have a killer bar. This The Good: *Reservations via OpenTable *Great service *Not only do they use their wood oven for Pizzas, but they also use it to cook several other items like Prime Rib and Beef Ribs--both of which aren't available until after 4 p.m. Next time, Gadget! *Full bar with local craft brews on-tap *Grass-fed Beef Meatball app was superb. The marinara was delicious and the meatballs were cooked to perfection. *Pizza was delicious. The dough had a nice chew, the ingredients were distributed well, and the crust had a nice char from the oven. They make a damn fine pie. *I don't recall much about the Kazbah bowl other than Carissa enjoyed it. I'd ask her for more details but she's hurrying me along right now so we can eat dinner. (: The Meh: *No outdoor seating for the time being but it looks like it's in the works. *Located in a large outdoor shopping center so there's plenty of parking abound, but this center can get quite busy and turn parking into "quite the tenses." If you don't mind walking, I recommend parking by the library/park. The Ugly: *They don't have a BYOP (Build-Your-Own-Pizza) option on the menu, so if you're building a pie for a picky teenager then you have to pick one of their presets that has the closest toppings and then add and subtract accordingly. But, as it's SoP in her pizza world, taking off an ingredient doesn't save you money but adding them on will cost you. And adding on a few things can inflate the price of the pizza well-over 50% very quickly. Conclusion: Tasty pies in a great ambiance. I'll be back for the Prime Rib! :)

Yelp
Honestly, love the vibe and the food! I've been here twice and each time I have tried something new and I equally enjoy the meals, especially with friends. The waiters are always nice and I appreciate how well they take care of us

Yelp
Good to see the old Piatti's location being replaced with another good restaurant in the neighborhood. We have tried Rise a few times since it opened and have enjoyed the food and friendly service. The pizzas are tasty but our favorite dish so far are the meatballs. The drinks are good too. We've come without a reservation on weeknight evenings and are always seated right away. You can also sit at the bar if there is a wait for a table. We'll be back since we live close by.

Yelp
This place is conveniently located near a variety of other restaurants, making it a great choice for those staying at nearby hotels or apartments. We ordered two cocktails, broccolini, kids' chicken wings, a funghi pizza, Basque cheesecake, flourless chocolate cake, and a cookie brownie. Everything was delicious, and the ambiance was cozy with great service. Prices are fair for the location. It's a perfect spot for a team lunch or dinner, or a relaxed family meal. There's plenty of seating, so it's easy to grab a table without any fuss.

Yelp
Came on a Sunday afternoon, service was great. The menu had a nice variety. We ordered family style so everyone could share. The chicken wings were very meaty. The pizza extra cheesy, the bottoms were a little burnt though. Cocktails were refreshing and just right amount of alcohol and flavor. It's a very open restaurant but a bit chilly.

Yelp
3.5 stars, but rounding up to 4. Nice and spacious restaurant so plenty of space for families/kids Good Neapolitan pizza, but Pizza Antica still edges them out and pricing is similar. With that said, it's nice to have quality Neapolitan pizza options without having to drive to Santana Row.
