Rishi Tea & Botanicals

I spent $100 on what I thought was good tea but it’s horrible. I’ve contacted rishi through their website and through Facebook looking for help and no one answers back. I’ve made tea a million times before and when I make this tea it’s basically the same hot water. Do NOT waste your time.

THERE IS NO STORE AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! very polite staff helped my mom track down the tea flavor she was searching for but they do not have a tea store at this location

I recently got introduced with Rishi tea and I am really happy with the taste. The jasmine tea, chamomile tea are my fav. I liked the English tea too which is same as my Indian tea taste. great quality and lovely packaging.

The shipping is extremely fast, even during peak holiday season. I typically only get my teas from Rishi, in bulk--what a wonderful company to have in the city

Rishi has done a really good job of bringing high quality teas to a wide span of vendors in the area. I miss the loose tea in the metal tins. But overall the switch to sachets and cardboard has been fine. Every tea I’ve had from them I would rate 5 stars.

I love Rishi tea. The two stars are for shipping. I ordered two packs of tea two weeks ago. The shipping updates say it’s in transit but still in Milwaukee. This is absolutely ridiculous. Never again.

I have been buying tea from Rishi for years now. The tea is always on point and shipping is stupid fast and often free!! They continue to innovate their offerings but also keep the ol' staples on board, which I appreciate.

Outrageous pricing! The most expensive tea purveyor on planet earth! I first ordered from Rishi Tea back in May of 2011 and ordered for several years after UNTIL the endless, exorbitant price rises became too much to handle. Comparing the prices of the teas today versus in past years is astounding. Some prices are 200%; 300%; 400% higher than in the past. I travel regularly to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan and can tell you - if you really like tea - there are a multitude of other suppliers supplying exact same teas (even with some of the garden direct) at exponentially cheaper pricing - and they ship internationally. What happened to Rishi is sad - it became a ruthless corporation only concerned about bottom lines. Any true tea savant would never, ever shop here due to the company's extortionate pricing!

We are a tea connoisseur family, and regularly order tea from Rishi. My husband loves their Earl Grey, my daughters love the Jasmine and Matcha Super Green, while I drink the Turmeric Ginger daily. I recommend starting with the sampler box, there are some really nice surprises in there. The Greek Mountain was unique in flavor I never thought to try, but was delicious. Yes, this tea might cost a little bit more than standard teas, but this is for people who appreciate good teas and fusions, and have a discerning palette. It's well worth it.

this tea is wildly expensive, which is fine, if taste's good. I got FIFTY bags of a certain flavor and it tasted awful..... the company would not exchange them for me, even though my family has already placed 4 orders with them in the last month..... not good customer servcie and we will NOT order form them anymore......

This is the corporate headquarters, and not the place to come shopping for tea. But instead of treating me like the nuisance I was being, they were very friendly and more than helpful -- I am extremely impressed with this operation. I don't want to tell you what they did for me here because I don't want other people coming to bother them, but suffice to say that this is a company that practices the highest levels of customer service from bottom to at least somewhere above middle management. I know a thing or two about social organization, this sort of dedication to customer satisfaction usually means a somewhat decentralized set up but the top echelons probably treat all employees well and allow for more than a fair amount of autonomy downward in the hierarchy. Ordered two packets of "Milk Oolong" tea. Received regular oolong tea instead. Most unhelpful employee offered absolutely no solution and did not believe that I was telling her the truth (over a transaction that was less than $50). I have spent over $1,000 in the past with Rishi Tea, but that also did not matter in the least bit. Very frustrating because company was unwilling to exchange out the mislabelled oolong tea for the Milk Oolong I had ordered, or take the tea back, or issue a refund. Needless to say, I will never purchase from them again, and will also spread a bad word about them simply by telling the truth about my horrible dealing with them. Also contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint, and will likely file a lawsuit in Texas under the Texas DTPA for deceptive trade practices (I am an attorney, so will be filing the lawsuit myself).

my tea order was stolen and Rishi sent me an expedited replacement at no cost- great customer service and great tea!

Local headquarters for Rishi Tea. There isn't a public shop per say, but you can purchase tea and accessories online and pick them up here for free. Same day if you order by 11am. Very quick and easy process. Shipping is free for orders over $29. If you live in milwaukee, you will receive your order next day. I love tea, local businesses and organic things, so Rishi is awesome. This company is something Milwaukee can be proud of.

Tried to visit their web site, but at every page I opened, a window intervened asking me for an email address and pretending to offer a discount. So, there is really no acceptable shopping at their internet site. As there are many places to obtain high quality tea, I will not order from them. Avoid!
