We love rising stars academy. The staff is attentive and caring. My child has learned a lot and is now potty trained. She is also beginning to write and spell at 3 years old. I highly recommend this facility.

Exceptional. My daughter has made tremendous strides since starting RSA. I'm beyond impressed with her growth and development, both as a person and a student. The campus is extremely clean, the staff is very accommodating, and the communication is top tier. I'm well informed and aware of all her activities and have no issues at all. Love this school for my daughter,, very committed and loving staff, it’s always good to know that when I drop off my daughter she’s in great hands. Mrs. Felicia is one of the best!!! any question and concerns I have she’s always there calmly and patiently ready to take her time and explain anything I need to be address, I’m very grateful for her.

The children are always sick, and my niece and nephew have both come home with mysterious injuries that none of the staff ever seem to remember happening. 2 busted lips and a bruised arm within a 3 month period? These injuries are very concerning, and the failure to report instead of lying is alarming. These children are 2 and up, and I understand things happen but to lie about it suggests neglect or abuse. My niece literally has blood coming out of her lip! She can’t even drink from her sippy cup without crying and nothing happened that the staff can remember? I will be encouraging my sister to report this facility, and I hope any other parents or care takers reconsider sending their children here. When parents have questions there should be direct answers. Or at the very least a sincere promise to figure out what happened. Children falling or playing rough is very normal but lying teachers or care takers is RED FLAG.

the lady's here always have attitude while I'm dropping my daughter off I'm not sure if it cause I'm the father and thats how they treat the dads. My daughter has left here sick multiple times also with scratches on her body from unknown things. one of the workers tried to pocket my daughter earrings before.. and they always asking for money for lil "events" I feel they are a little money hungry.. overall I don't like that place my daughter went here for a few months id never take her back.

My granddaughter has been going there for a couple of years now. We wouldn't send her anywhere else. The staff is amazing. I recommend Rising Star Academy to anyone that want there child in a well-rounded environment.

My grandson just started going here it's only been two weeks and I must say I'm happy . There all professional and really care about your kids . They send updates on the app letting us no when he's eating and how much , potty time and if he went and nap time and for how long . I love the structure that they set up for the kids it's a nice clean place so far I'm Happy with them.

Let me put this out here since the owner didn't want to professionally sit down & talk about it .... My child had been with this school for a year. I'm a very active parent we sit down do homework, I participate in school events donations bringing things in it was never an issue. When I pick my child up I was always curious on how she was progressing. She was doing everything a 2 yr old was suppose to be doing we never received any bad reports. Just a couple of things I was working on but what 2 yr old is PERFECT? Ms summer & Felicia was perfect ! They always gave me pointers on things that would make me a better parent cause they can see I was young & TRYING my best. My daughter showed up always clean and presentable never sent her sick running nose and coughing ! I'm just that type of parent ! Everything started going down hill when they switched directors! My daughter was coming home with new scratches on her face every week & the same student was causing them ... GUESS what I didn't make a fuss I just simply asked can they prevent this from happening to my baby .... Time passed it didn't happen again but I did notice my daughter started acting strange..... Next thing I know I started getting complaints on how terrible my daughter is ..... IM. A very active parent I know my child, I wanted to know what was causing this behavior. They never had an answer!!! 2 weeks into her bad behavior change they terminated my baby with no warning. No second chance or anything... I Did reach out to the owner & he never wanted to have the meeting with me via zoom it's been 3 weeks ... I thank god things turned out the way it did cause idk what was goin on there ... And for the owner to not want to have a meeting seems kind of shady to me dear ! Ima just say this just cause people work with children doesn't mean it's their passion y'all be safe ..

UPDATING REVIEW: I wanted to clarify that my previous post from 04/21/2020 was an UPDATE to my original review from 12/2018. This is why the two are stacked on top of each other and why the 04/2020 one has the words "updated review" next to them. TO BE CLEAR, THIS IS AN UPDATE AS WELL. In response to Mr. Darren's reply on 08/02/2021: A) I am speaking the truth. What I wrote was the experience I had. I still have the contract, the cashed paycheck, and the certified mailed letters I sent regarding the issues in the original review. B) The people answering your daycare's phone were saying otherwise. This dishonesty falls on the company since this seems to be acceptable to do by your employees. I believe this was just to get me to give up on obtaining my refund. C) I was not asking for reimbursement for care provided. Like I mentioned in my original review. My daughter received care ONE DAY. And given the lack of organization on meal plans (I was promised one thing but then the first day on pick up I was told completely the opposite) I took her out immediately. I paid 3 weeks upfront. All I asked for was for the remaining balance refunded (3 weeks minus 1 day) as there was no deposit on our contract. D) DO NOT USE COVID to attempt to censor my review. COVID was a devastating pandemic. My original review was posted 12/18/2018. Well before COVID came into all of our lives. If you'd like I can email you again and see if this time I get a reply. I still have the phone numbers in the documents if they haven't changed it in the last 3 years.

Enrolled my 8 month old in the program and during enrollment was assured that food would be prepared in a way that she could eat (she had no teeth yet). However, when we went to pick her up she had not been fed solid food because the caregiver refused to smash the food and we were told that we had to bring our own baby food even though the meal plan is included in the tuition. What this meant was they did not follow through with the meal/nutrition plan we had agreed on. I withdrew her on the second day and had paid 3 weeks total. When I asked for the refund for the money I had paid, they started dodging my calls and just saying that they'd be calling us soon. It's been almost a year now and I am still trying to get the amount I paid in advance. This is outright theft, you are much better off finding a different place!

My son has been for majority of his life. He's learned a lot and I have a very good relationship with the staff. I'll be sad to see him move on next year.
