The hotel is well located, giving a great view over lago Maggiore, and close to Ascona. We stayed in the appartement, that is spacious, fully equipped and has a nice terras to sit outside. No aircon but the bedroom stays quite cool even on a 30C hot day.|Nice breakfast served in the morning, and the restaurant serves delicious diner and has a great selection of wines. There are walking paths in the area, Ascona is a 75 walk.

Very nice hotel with a beautifull view on the lake. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and has a cozy balcony facing the lake. The real treat came with diner though. It was absolutely delicious. From starter till desert, you will taste and see the passion. Just a treat for the senses. The staff were the finishing touch to an unexpected gastronomic experience.

Massive view when we arrived. Exceptionally attentive waiters. We were placed right at the bannisters, wherefore this unique view was guaranteed throughout dinner. The food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time and served at the exact temperature. The presentation is attractive. A must when visiting Locarno/Ascona.

Al Braciere - in the fourth generation - Luca and Cristian cook in Ronca sopra Ascona - a paradise for travelers who are looking for quality and love for special cuisine ... excellent cuisine and an overwhelming view over the Largo Maggiore

Went here by chance for lunch. Fabulous view, friendly and efficient staff, lovely, fresh, imaginative food at reasonable prices. Not so many lunch customers on our visit, so come on by and support this place. These guys definitely deserve your attention.
