"Once upon a time... a farm, now a trattoria, pleasantly rustic and colourful in the interior dining room, but with a must-visit date on the panoramic terrace in warm weather, where there is a splendid – and unmissable – view of the Val d'Orcia. On the menu, many traditional Tuscan recipes elaborated with earnestness and excellent seasonal products: liver terrine on chestnut bread, Maremma tortello with its 'ciccia' sauce, wild boar and potatoes, to close – lastly – with homemade ice cream." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic location with a stunning view, great authentic food served in a superb quality. Service is very friendly, maybe a tad slow. Would always visit again.

Chef Flavio lost his touch (if he ever had it). The bread was stale, the gnocchi had hair in it, the beans were canned, the potatoes were overcooked, they felt like rocks. Don’t fall for this tourist trap, I’m still at the restaurant and I can already feel the indigestion.

we had high hopes for this restaurant especially for a fiorentina bisteca. at 144 euro, the steak was almost uneatable. we asked for medium rare and we got COLD raw meat. such a waste of a perfectly good steak. service was slow and sloppy and the rest of the food was mediocre at best but not worth the price.

I’m saddened to say that this place is not anywhere near up to standard of being even considered a fair osteria. I love going to places with a stunning view and this place seemed to check all the boxes when we arrived. Unfortunate the view is the only plus to this restaurant. I honestly never had the experience of getting a Negroni with at least 20 fruit flies in it. Upon asking the owner to make a new one he came back with the same glass and the explanation that there must’ve been flies in the orange and that it was okay to drink. He was baffled that I didn’t want to drink it so I ordered a gin&tonic, only to get a white rum with lemon and soda water. I understand that it’s not a cocktail bar but I really don’t get why it’s on the menu if you don’t know the difference. I didn’t bother anymore because I still couldn’t understand why anyone would bring back that first glass expecting someone to drink it. Mishaps happen but at least own up to it.. So we ordered half a liter of Sangiovese which was of decent quality and we enjoyed that. The antipasto was good and well presented and came with the great olive oil of Frantoio Franci. It’s clear that this nearby producer is the only real taste addition to the restaurant. We looked forward to the rest of the meal as the setting is truly stunning and the terrace has a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the secondi were also very disappointing. The pheasant was overcooked, bone dry, clearly frozen and reheated in an uninspired manner and the saffron sauce appeared to be blended canned chickpeas. The potatoes were reheated but okay and the beans probably from a can and over spiced with salt and rosemary so the taste of the delicate Franci olive oil completely disappeared. We had some cantucci with vin santo and left with a 100€ check and a bad feeling that this was another example of the lack of effort in what can be a truly amazing place.

Tourist Trap :( I sadly give this review. As the host was accomodating, and the venue is nice. The thing is the price for the quality and quantity of food is shameful. Easily 2x / 3x the price on what on average you would pay in the area of Amiata, for food that is ok. It's a pity, it makes me sad to write this review, but also important for people to know what to avoid, and to bring business to people that remain with fair prices and good food, not exploiting local and turists. I hope the owner will take this as a feedback to improve and not a criticism. I'm happy to change this review overtime, as I'll try to go back and see if things have improved.

Unbelievably disappointing experience.. the food had absolutely zero flavor and tasted of nothing. First pasta was a tagliatelle with porcini.. second was pici with breadcrumbs. We sent the tagliatelle back and immediately could hear the chef/owner Flavio from the kitchen. Another couple was waiting for well over an hour (they arrived before us) and finally went back to the kitchen to complain and they were promptly yelled at by Flavio. It’s highly-possible that this was once a very good restaurant, as the numerous accolades on the wall seem to indicate.. However, Signore Flavio has clearly lost his passion and possibly his sense of taste. It was unseasoned food and pasta cooked in unsalted water. Quite literally the only plus is the location and the view high up over the hills of Tuscany.

Well, it's difficult to judge a restaurant for the first time, if there was a star between 3 and 4 that's where I'd put it, one thing's for sure, the view and with the sunset it's 6 stars 👍
