We were delighted by the warm and welcoming service provided especially by one of the staff members. His friendly demeanor and kind attention truly enhanced our dining experience. The food was a delightful exploration of Thai-Japanese fusion cuisine. As acquaintances of authentic Thai dishes, we were particularly impressed by the Green Curry with rice and Tom Kha Gai soup. These Thai classics were expertly adapted to suit an international palate while maintaining their essential flavors (Green Curry was really spicy and could be way too spicy for many). The other dishes we ordered were also enjoyable. The high prices reflect the quality of the cuisine and experience. The scenery during 7pm-8pm was magnificent too.

We eat here every visit to Ascona. The location is perfect. We got lucky and were placed on the edge of the terrace closest to the lake so the view was perfect. Service was spot on. The dishes were excellent, as were the cocktails. It’s not cheap, but the quality and experience easily justify it. Best to reserve at peak times.

Sadly, on the occasion I was there this restaurant failed to deliver on both service and food. The Teppanyaki Tuna I have ordered was flavor less and it was lukewarm. The accompanying vegetables were also cold. Is it supposed to be like that? I found it strange. The service was downright uninterested. Once we have placed our order, not once had anyone come to ask how everything is or if we wanted anything else. Overall a disappointing experience.

Mirko, our server, was great! He speaks whatever language you need and is attentive to boot! We got the karaage, salmon bowl, and duck and beef dim sum. Everything was prepared excellently and the portions were just right. I also had the Ke Choya cocktail, a smooth plum wine drink. My wife got the sake mule and it was delightful. I recommend coming here if you're in the mood for a departure from the usual Swiss fare.

I like the idea they have asian restaurant there However, food taste, food portion, price is so-la-la. Location is good. Service is average. I would not recommend.
