Ristorante Aubergine

Had high hopes. Not unpleasant but disappointing. Food is described as home cooking but it did not transcend this. Two dishes stood out- snails appetizer- tender and tasty, and the suckling pork got a 5 for taste and tenderness but it was too salty. We unfortunately chose a wine that did nothing for us and much remained in the bottle - local- 60 % Cabernet anf 40 % Merlot. Might have been good with a hearty steak. The petro chemical aftertaste turned us both off and did not compliment braised food. Staff appeared to try their best but we never received a wine list. We had to request it. We waited over 45 minutes for our orders to be taken. The wine arrived as we began our main courses. It appears they did not coordinate who was managing our table. Ambience us nice. Interesting art on the walls.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Ristorante Aubergine in the outskirts of Padova. Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Very high quality service. Perhaps for the first time I meet a team of professionals (both an amazing restaurant chef and wonderful waiters) who are in love with what they do. The zucchini flowers were crispy, but not dry, but juicy and without a huge amount of flour (I had to try those too). Rabbit meat is very tender, so it just melts in your mouth. Large portions. Everything is excellent!

A michelin recommended restaurant in Abano. Love the bamboo in front of the entry! Food was tasty and the staff were very hospitable!

The food is good, except from the sides, we had the verdura side, it was not tasty at all. The service is very very slow. There was only one woman who could take the order and she was arrogant.

Good food and service. The pork was very good, juicy, and tasteful. Beef just ok.

I want to share my impressions, this is the most beautiful restaurant in this city, the friendliest staff and delicious dishes. Thank you for the wonderful time spent in this place.

Very high class restaurant and well priced. Probably the best restaurant i've ever been to
