Buono, buono, buonissimo. Food was perfect, we had two menu terra and one pasta from the menu. Everything was very tasty, nicely presented. We could not have asked for more. Service was outstanding, very knowledgeable. Outside and inside are nicely decorated, nice atmosphere, all is very clean. We surely will come back.

This was our favourite restaurant in Italy! Really beautiful, simple food, obviously using quality ingredients. My husband & son enjoyed the beef ragu and the beef with potatoes. I am vegan & Beatrice was fantastic to understand and recommend what could be done for me. Superb food, setting and service, highly recommend.

Dining on the main square in Grosseto's beautiful old town, you might think you're going to get food aimed at tourists. At Ristorante Canapone, this is not the case. The food is authentic Tuscan fare made with love and the freshest ingredients. I felt like I had been asked into someone's kitchen and been served from pots of delicious home cooked food. A wonderful place to eat some really good local dishes.

Great restaurant with a fabulous choice of wines. Enjoying the food outside on the terrace is especially nice: it's lovely and intimate, while still providing a view on the piazza. Note that ristorante Canapone has a sibling restaurant 'Canapino' just next to it. Canapino is an osteria with simpler meals and cheaper prices. Both places share the same terrace.
