Nicole & Erika were outstanding hosts @ Valentino’s. If you’re up for Rabbit smothered in black truffles or amazing risotto with funghi. You’re gonna love this place. The truffle crusted beef was outrageously good as was the Bronzino with veggies. If you’re not in the mood for sweets, they also have a wonderfully diverse cheese platter. Others use the word expensive to describe this wonderful restaurant, but I wouldn’t. If you’re looking for a regionally representative fine dining experience in the middle of Locarno, this is the best option around. Speciale !

The overall experience was amazing! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent service. We got the full menu(4 dishes). I highly recommend tuna from the starters and ravioli from the second starters. The shrimp and risotto starters were good but nothing 'to die for'. Both meat options from the main dishes were really delicious. Gianduja mouse and cinnamon semi fredo were excellent. We loved the atmosphere, it was really cozy, you felt at home, keep up the great job! We would definitely go back for more!

Nice restaurant! We were for the first time, but we will come back. Quiet central location, just 2 minutes from Piazza Grande. Friendly atmosphere, professional staff, very good food and wine list.

Really good food and nice ambiente. A bit small plates but very good

The food is good with high quality ingredients. I know we’re in Switzerland but it felt a bit overpriced even for Swiss standards. We originally wanted to sit outside for dinner, but the outdoor terrace is very dark and I couldn’t see anything. I highly suggest management add some more lighting The staff were very friendly and accommodating and quickly moved us inside

Dinner here was fantastic. The terrace is lovely and the staff were so kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient with us as we navigated a language barrier. If you are in Locarno this is the place to go for dinner, can’t recommend it enough. The mushroom risotto was heavenly!!

The menu was perfect, short enough to inspire confidence but with enough choice to feel interesting and to our tastes. Service was friendly and efficient, in a terrace that is cosy but without feeling isolated from the city. Some dessert options had run out by the end of the night.
