Ristorante e Locanda Alla Fassa

Dined at this restaurant in July 2024. Worst meal i’ve ever had in italy to this day. We walked in, the entire restaurant was empty, yet somehow there was only 1 table “available” inside with no reservations, which is fine. Except none of the other “reserved” folk that had tables reserved showed up for the 1.5 hr we dined at this establishment, it was pretty much empty except two other tables that showed up close to the end of our meal. We should have just taken this as our queue to leave. We went to place an order and as we were placing our order we said we wanted to get an appetizer to share. Before we could even start saying what we wanted to order for our main courses, the server immediately was like “every person needs to get their own dish”… which is what we were going to do… if she didnt rudely interject. if they have an establishment rule, the correct order of things should be to let people place their entire order: appetizer, main courses, etc. AFTER they are done placing order if they dont fit the rules THEN you can mention it to the guests; the way they do it is extremely condescending and absurd. Not to mention the food was mediocre at best. The fish was average. The pastas are below average. The breads they served were extremely stale. On the way out my dad lightheartedly joked about how all the tables outside were still empty and the server(or manager, not sure exactly who this lady was) started to YELL at us “I dont have to explain my reservations to YOU” and we just smiled and nodded and she kept repeating herself. It was very odd. If you want cheap food made with cheap ingredients in a nice location along with rude service this is your place to go. It’s a shame that this beautiful view is wasted on such a terrible restaurant with terrible management.

Service with a big fake smile that didn't make us feel welcomed. 1. Family of 4 wanted to order three dishes - not allowed, everyone has to order a plate 2. Taking 2 euro service per person 3. Not kids friendly (baby crawling bothered them) Besides that very nice view on the lake, food is pretty good but definitely not the best in the area and overpriced.

We have 3 adults and 2 kids(1&7), the waitress demend us besides the little baby, everyone have to order a main dish. - not nice Then the baby wants to crawl a bit on the floor, the restaurant has only 2 tables with people, quite empty, the waitress didn't allow it. - not nice Last, the coffee had burnt dirt in it ....

This is definitely a great restaurant. The service was amazing. We had roasted octopus on smashed potato and artichoke cream, scallops with pomegranate and seafood pasta. They were all perfectly cooked. It definitely deserves a visit!!!

What a wonderful find! The atmosphere caries a sense homeliness to it. From the open glass walls and scenery to the simple but eloquent furniture and accessories the restaurant itself was easy to spend three hours at. Highly recommend making a reservation and taking a glimpse at their daily offerings. The view, the stellar food (every item we had was great) and kind service truly made this restaurant one to remember during our trip to Lake Garda.

We had a Sunday lunch here and it easily became our favourite lake view restaurant. The location is absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing, everything extremely balanced fresh and light. We had antipasto, primo, secondo plus desert and didn’t feel heavy, which just confirms how clean the food was. Wonderful staff and service! Everyone is extremely nice and helpful and makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. We will be coming back often🙂

Delicious food and fantastic service. The pesce di Lago is definitely something to try! Especially paired with a nice local white wine.
