We were there with a larger group of friends for a birthday dinner. We were greeted with the most friendly staff and a chef who knows his craft. He advised us well on the food, educated us and created an atmosphere that was just special. Prices are more than fair. It feels like we came as guests and left as friends. Chef Fabio made sure we had an evening we will never forget. It was a very intimate and personal experience. From the food to the conversations. The restaurant is very well located, so a little stroll before going there is great. And the hidden away courtyard seating is definitely a highlight. I can only recommend going there if you are on the area!

Wonderful midday meal. We were fortunate that the chef was grilling meats on wood fired grill on the garden patio. The house special sausage was the best we ever had, bursting with flavor. All local, fresh ingredients. Service was top shelf.

The restaurant is beautiful merging with the ancient walls of the city, the garden in the back is an idyllic space. The dishes are beautifully presented. The main dishes were stunning in every sense but the appetisers were lacking flavour therefore the 4* rating.

Everything is amazing here Staff were friendly and helpful. I took their recommendation for a boneless rabbit and panna cotta, they were made so special. The rabbit meat was infused with flavour, the dessert experience was super unique. Highly recommended this Michelin-listed restaurant if you are out for an occasion or visiting with friends and family

Lovely evening spent with family in Volterra. The restaurant was quiet but welcoming, the food was good, but the whole experience was great because of our host Adrian who was so attentive and knowledgeable. We hope to be back soon.

We visited this wonderful Italian restaurant twice during our vacation — and both times were exceptional! We tried several dishes from the menu, but a few truly stood out and deserve special mention. The beef tartare was incredibly fresh, with some unexpected and creative additions that made it really unique. The veal steak was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection — one of the best we've ever had. We also couldn’t resist the desserts, which were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding on both visits. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended if you're looking for a memorable dining experience with top-quality food and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

Amazing food and ambience. The outside seating and service was spectacular. I had wild boar pappardelle for first course and it was the best pasta dish I’ve had since coming to Italy! Main course was boneless rabbit - incredible. They even had an Italian singer who set the mood and played both Italian and old school rock/pop music which made for an even better pairing with the wine and food! We all had a blast and cannot wait to come back one day.

The food at Enoteca Del Duca was really incredible! Not only the food was impressive but also the atmosphere was really cute. Great wine selection too! They also had live music all night!

Era delizioso!!! The dishes were innovative and the tastes were delicious with fresh ingredients. The presentation was also sublime, both the dishes and the decor. Service was professional, elegant and yet personable. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is owned by the same family that owns that Agritourismo we stayed at On our recent trip to Volterra. The restaurant has a very large back patio area for dining. It was a lovely evening to sit outside(both for the atmosphere and Covid safety) The food was all beautifully and artistically presented as well as being delicious. The menu had traditional standards, as well as more contemporary interpretations of dishes. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed every dish they ordered, and every wine we tried. The restaurant was quite busy, but the staff was still very attentive. I definitely would recommend this restaurant for either a family dinner or a romantic evening out. And would definitely return again

Very good food. I got the quail and truffle pasta. The truffle flavor was a little strong but still a great first course. The quail was a great finisher to the meal. It came with a corn pudding-like side inside a pastry cone. Overall the presentation was as good as it tasted (spectacular). The steak also looked very good. The staff was very kind. Our waiters were very accommodating to us only speaking english and quite nice. The patio outside had a garden and a smoker that gave the place a very nice smell. We were across from the kitchen window so we could watch the chefs make the food, which was quite entertaining.m.10/10 would recommend and go back!!

Excellent place. Not only in Volterra. Our table was in the garden. We felt like in Paradise surrounded by stone walls. Peaceful place, somehow timeless. Quality time for the family!! Perfect service, wine and food menu. Great prosecco as aperitif. Kids and I ate the Bistecca Florentina. Wow!! It was not our first, but one of the best steaks we had. Clear recommendation!

Stumbled in out of the cold after a long day of being a tourist Nov 2022 and were welcomed with warm hospitality and friendly service even though we were considerably bedraggled and under dressed for this lovely restaurant. The new owners of this well established and beloved ristorante seem to have everything in great control with beautifully presented and well-prepared dishes. We loved everything we ordered and it was so prettily plated and was truly a special meal. We started with a yummy liver pate on crostini which was really lovely. I had a delicious ravioli and my husband had very well prepared roasted pork with an amazing sauce. All paired wonderfully with local wine. The dessert was truly memorable and a real treat! A molecular gastronomic delight of deconstructed tiramisu! So pretty and so fun to eat! This was a truly memorable meal and one of our favorites during our two weeks in Tuscany.

Prettiest outside spot for lunch! We enjoyed the zuppa and risotto for two. Liked the house made red wine so much, it was the first wine to go in our suitcase for the trip home.
