"La cucina italiana has no secrets for Roberti Fani. After earning a Michelin star in his homeland, he has moved shop to the country town of Roeser. On the ground-floor of a rather ordinary residential complex, he has opened a cosy, stylish establishment depicted by seamless professional service and a first-rate sommelier. Chef Fani loves popping out into the dining room, to grate truffles for example. This seasoned chef unveils his immense know-how in a deceptively simple and effortless manner, while his brigade of young chefs add their own creative spin. You might taste warm shrimp in a cream sauce, a warm shellfish mayonnaise and a plankton cream. The chef may also treat you to a mouthwatering risotto of herbs, fried capers and a zest of citrus fruit. Do not be misled, the apparent simplicity of each dish is the result of a consummate command of textbook culinary techniques. Very cosy atmosphere. The food was good albeit not up to par compared to other michelin starred restaurants. One dish stood out however. The one based around tomatoes. The tomato flavoured water truly was something special. The prices were fair and the wine pairing was good. We appreciated the staff/sommelier bringing us a handwritten listing of the wines we had that night.

A++++ Can't praise the experience at Ristorante FANI enough. Delicious, exciting, adventurous, 9 course vegetarian meal here. Terrific, knowledgeable, and kind staff make for a pampered and comfortable 3 hour meal. Really a memorable experience for my wife and I. Highly recommended!

Today, my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Firstly, the restaurant's design is quite simple and unremarkable. Secondly, although the food was visually appealing, that was its only merit. The marinated cucumbers tasted like they came straight from a store-bought jar. The desserts were equally unimpressive. We spent 400 euros and felt it was entirely wasted, especially on such a special occasion. I've had far better food at ordinary restaurants. I am absolutely convinced that this restaurant does not deserve its Michelin star; I know of many establishments that are significantly superior.

We tried the "terra e mare" tasting menu and we loved the experience. The quality of the food is extraordinary with a service very attentive to every detail. We were looking for culinary creations that would surprise us and it was a complete success.

One of the nice Michelin star restaurants in Luxembourg. The tasting menu is updated for each season. The wine pairing is mostly from Italy and matches the food amazingly well. There is parking area at the back of the restaurant
