We had a truly wonderful experience at Il Giardino Delle Esperidi. This charming, intimate restaurant offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. Family-run and full of character, it is the kind of hidden gem that absolutely deserves recognition in the Michelin Guide. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the exceptionally kind and attentive staff, who made us feel instantly at home. We each chose the four-course menu and received excellent guidance and thoughtful recommendations, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish reflected a deep passion for cooking — you could taste the love and care in every bite. It was slow food at its very best: refined, authentic, and prepared with remarkable attention to detail. The entire evening was simply unforgettable, and we are sincerely grateful for such an experience. Without a doubt, we will return on our next visit to Bardolino, and we cannot recommend this outstanding restaurant highly enough.

Sometimes you just have to trust the Michelin Guide – and this time, it was absolutely spot on! Giardino delle Esperidi is one of those places that instantly makes you feel welcome. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which sets the tone for a truly enjoyable evening. We chose to sit outside, and it was perfect – a cozy little spot where you can soak up the lively street vibe while still focusing entirely on the food. And what food it is! We went for the two-course menu (€44 per person), and every bite felt like a small celebration of flavor. If you go, don’t miss the fish carpaccio as a starter – it’s fresh, delicate, and simply unforgettable. The wine list offers a thoughtful selection, and the waitress gave us excellent recommendations with a smile. Whether you’re a fish lover or prefer vegetarian dishes, this place is a must-visit. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and food that easily lives up to its Michelin mention.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service was top notch. Well worthy of its Michelin recommendation. Also had the most beautiful glass of Valpolicella imaginable. Highest recommendation.

Wow! The food was delicious👌. My husband, my baby and I had a beautiful peacefull evning in this authentic italian ristorante, and it was a discovery for us.

Our favourite restaurant in Bardolino. We visit every year when at the "Lago" on holiday. 3 local women cooking with local and seasonal produce. Fact they're mentioned in Michelin guide year after year says it all. We were very happy to see some old favourites still on the menu, and some very tasty new dishes too. Tobacco infused ice cream. We'd 3 courses, 2 bottles of organic wine and coffee, and still had change from 200 euros. Roll on July 2024 for our next visit! 🇮🇹

Amazing experience. Very friendly staff and extremely refined dishes different from ordinary with peculiar and interesting taste combinations. I highly recommend it. Nice location too. My tip: let the waiters guide you through the menu and wines

It was quite expensive, but that wasn’t the main issue. The real problem was that I found a piece of foil in my pasta. Normally, they would cancel the dish or offer some form of compensation, but they didn’t. After that, I couldn’t eat my pasta.

Fantastic experience, great if you’re looking for something a bit special. Quite pricey but you get what you pay for! Food was delicious, and service was outstanding. We had the sea and land tasting menus which were beautiful and waitress recommended a lovely wine pairing. We had an amazing time:) Grazie mille 🤩
