Ristorante Giardino delle Esperidi

Our favourite restaurant in Bardolino. We visit every year when at the "Lago" on holiday. 3 local women cooking with local and seasonal produce. Fact they're mentioned in Michelin guide year after year says it all. We were very happy to see some old favourites still on the menu, and some very tasty new dishes too. Tobacco infused ice cream. We'd 3 courses, 2 bottles of organic wine and coffee, and still had change from 200 euros. Roll on July 2024 for our next visit! 🇮🇹

Good food, huge wine list, excellent service.

For those who go for the experience and decorum: it's a great place with nicely decorated plates and friendly staff. For those who go for the food: the price quality ratio is under par. It's just not really good.

Fantastic experience, great if you’re looking for something a bit special. Quite pricey but you get what you pay for! Food was delicious, and service was outstanding. We had the sea and land tasting menus which were beautiful and waitress recommended a lovely wine pairing. We had an amazing time:) Grazie mille 🤩

Amazing experience. Very friendly staff and extremely refined dishes different from ordinary with peculiar and interesting taste combinations. I highly recommend it. Nice location too. My tip: let the waiters guide you through the menu and wines

We have booked this restaurant for an advice pof our friend as he told its very nice. Its the first time we have such a bad food experience in Garda. From the very beginning till the end of our dinner everything was awful. The waiters were very rood. We ve been waiting for the first course over an hour!!!.In my plate i found a hair so the waiter had changed it and i had to wait 30 minutes more. The second courses were not good too… the meat was very tough and unbeatable… Want to pay attention that you can order only a la carte menu for 40 for two dishes or 60 euros for 3 dishes and the choice is not so wide… So after all we wanted to run away from this awful place… we asked for the bill but it turned out that they didn’t accept credit cards… lucky we had cash… So if you want to spoil your dinner time welcome to this restaurant…

Excellent food here. No wonder this place got a nod from Michelin (the Michelin Plate: Good Cooking). I had the truffle baked in cheese, I would normally not have gone for a dish like that because most of the time I have gotten truffle it has overpowered the dish but I thought it was worth the risk this time due to the reputation this place has. I was not disappointed. The parmesan the truffle was baked in was strong enough to compete with the truffle and provided a balance to the dish. My girlfriend went for the vegetarian millefeuille which was also excellent. It felt like the vegetables where picked that morning. I am not giving it 5 stars because it was a little pricey and it felt like it was missing something, like it needed more atmosphere but I would definitely recommend anyone to come here.

Authentic Italian restaurant in the middle of picturesque Bardolino. Very nice food, we'll presented and decently priced despite being located in a touristed area. Plates are 'normal' Italian sizes and so three courses are reasonable for a full meal.
