Ristorante Il Faggio

A truly beautiful restaurant; we were warmly welcomed. The food is exceptionally delicious – we enjoyed a menu featuring modern interpretations of regional dishes. The wine selection was also excellent. The service staff was highly professional while maintaining a relaxed demeanor, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

We had a very dissatisfying experience at this restaurant. We wanted to order only secondi piatti at lunch. The waiter was extremely insistent that we order an antipasto to share among the three of us, so we reluctantly agreed. It arrived divided on three plates. Much to our surprise, the 22 euro antipasto became a 60 euro charge on our bill -- very dishonest! We were shocked and speechless and left with a "bad taste" in our mouths. Beware about this underhanded practice.

Fantastic food, proper classic 3-4 course meals with a modern interpretation. The interior and setting is perfect: proper distance between the tables ensuring privacy. It's set in a former cinema, with high ceilings. Amazing, personal service - and all for a very reasonable price. Value for money, frankly one of the best restaurants in Italy, and beyond.

abbiamo voluto provare il menù 7 portate (a cui è stata gentilmente aggiunta una ottava omaggio) e devo dire che è un posto che merita, ci tornerò sicuramente. l'unico piatto non troppo riuscito è stato uno spiedino con la lingua, non so se per la consistenza o per il sapore (mi ricordava molto il pepe di java/cumino dei prati) ma forse più per gusto personale che per altro. il resto assolutamente di primo livello, compreso il servizio.

Esperienza culinaria che ricorderò al ristorante (consigliato in guida Michelin) Il Faggio di Pollone, in provincia di Biella. Ho avuto il piacere di provare il menu degustazione pesce di 6 portate (trovate le varie proposte di degustazione, oltre al menu à la carte e relativi prezzi sul sito del ristorante). Uno splendido mix tra tradizione ed innovazione, eccellenza nella scelta dei prodotti, contrasti di sapori unici: un’esperienza che merita di essere vissuta. Professionalità e gentilezza del personale da evidenziare, ottimo il servizio. Consigliatissimo!
