Il Fico trentacareghe

"Situated on one of the region’s most beautiful coast roads, this restaurant with a charming garden of olive trees boasts stunning views of the sea which can be admired either from the dining room or, even better, from the summer terrace. The cuisine is equal to the setting, with a focus on fish and seafood dishes influenced by Ligurian traditions." - Michelin Inspector

Real Michelin star experience, very surprising. All the dishes have surprised us, we’ve had the Fiascherino menu, the combinations were perfect, something absolutely new, combining both sea and land ingredients. Definitely recommended for those that tried a lot of food, high end restaurants, you will be surprised by how well they mix cheeses and fish or fish and mushrooms. The dessert was very unusual, combing the taste of a cappuccino in a foam texture with a salty focaccia aftertaste, incredible. Very big wine selection, the staff was proficient in English and knew the menu well + very professional. Worth a visit!

Gem with the view. This place figured out a formula for a great dining experience. View of the sea, lighting, soundtrack, table setting-all works! Frefix menue starts with 6 mini servings of seafood bites. The second dish is a signature and a treat. Tender white fish filet in a light cheese sause "puddle" with pistachio crumble and shaved black truffle. It's just delicious. Unfortunately, there is no policy or recommendation on the cellphone use in an otherwise fine dining space. Someone at the next table can have a refined meal and watch a video or a game on a loud speaker mode (headphones?). Or call from the table and loudly chat for 30 min... It's not cool or considerate or conducive to the high-quality food and atmosphere enjoyment. It is one of the best seafood restaurants in the area.

We came here (family of 7) for Easter Lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and QUANTITY of courses on the tasting menu - 9 to be exact! This restaurant is in the Michelin guide for a reason, Chef Elia and his team were so kind and knowledgeable. We tried the local vermentino wine which was lovely and paired well with the fresh fish dishes. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant located on a hill filled with ancient olive trees with a lovely view of the seaside.

Was first time in that place. Setting is just picture-perfect! We exchanged change seats during our lunch to enjoy both ways to look out from the window table for two. But the meal itself was not less fenomenal than setting. We took a pre-fix bigger menu, and it wasn't much.

Friendly staff, great wines, nice location and stunning views. However all of this does not make up for the fact that the food was very bad and seriously overpriced. The first course consisted of cod which was way too salty, followed by dishes that were poorly seasoned and/ or overcooked. All in all I would recommend the place if you are looking for a nice glass of wine with great views but definitely not for the food.

Delicious food at a reasonable price given the creativity, quality and atmosphere. They were very kind to a member of our party with food allergies and readily adapted the menu accordingly.

As visitors to Il Fico on special occasions, we adore the restaurant. Whether seated inside or out, the ambiance, service, and especially the variety of fish, is remarkable. Besides a fine al la carte offering, the owners specialise in two fixed price menus; the basic Tellaro, and the six course menu Fiascherino. The dishes change with the seasons. The staff are extremely welcoming, and balance the right levels of attention with privacy. Coming from a family of fishermen, they are very knowledgeable about what they serve which is, inevitably, local fish of all types. There is a wide choice of wines, mostly sparkling and whites to accompany the dishes. The setting itself is a delight, overlooking the Gulf of Poets, with sea views from the intimate balcony tables or from the outdoor area, dining under olive trees. Though not cheap dining, the whole package remains exceptionally good value for money. A visit to Il Fico is one of our most treasured experiences.

This is a beautiful place to have a great meal. We arrived with no reservation. The staff was welcoming and accommodating of several dietary restrictions of our party. The good was excellent, as was the service. Perfectly reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
