Ristorante il Frantoio

Creative and delicious cuisine. We did the 3-course tasting menu with wine pairing. The duck buttons were excellent and the welcome from the chef very creative. Interesting desserts and dessert drinks. Efficient service. Cool decor and nice view. The pre-dessert was a nice touch. Adding something small at the end, like some chocolate would have made for a stronger ending.

The food was very inspiring, mixed from italian originated. The taste is unique and you will never found at other restaurant. Service was exellent, they explained everything and always ask our feel about the food. View is exquisite, you can see the valley while eating and talking. Price quite high.

The best we experienced in all of Tuscany/Umbria region. The dishes were so creative and well-balanced, with surprising and wonderful flavors. The view is also spectacular! Special thanks to Alberto, his professionalism and natural joy made this a special experience!

Very creative and delicious food. The tasting menu is worth a try. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended if you are looking for a fine dining scene in Assisi.

We dined Al fresco as the sun was starting to set. Wait staff was extremely professional and efficient. Chef presented very creative starters “on the house” which were spectacular. We shared the lobster appetizer which was incredible. Main courses varied from creative spaghetti to baked trout to grilled pigeon. Wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. Overall a great dining experience but if you are looking to be “stuffed” at the end of your meal this restaurant is not the place.

Had a fantastic evening there. Very good service. The waiter who learns German is fantastic!! The dinner was delicious. We will definetly come back. If you visit Assisi is a "must have"

We had an amazing lunch here - the food, wine, and view were all great. Each dish was beautiful and much thought and care had been put into every element on the plates. We are vegetarian and though at first we thought there might not be many options, it was no problem - there were several great options for each course and we had a hard time choosing which dish was our favorite! The service was friendly and attentive, just the right amount of attention. We live in the DC area with several Michelin star restaurants around us and il Frantoio definitely lived up to that high standard! We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

Amazing food to match the marvelous view of the Umbrian valley. The service was the best I've ever experienced in Italy, especially since we were a large group with small children.
