The food was good, but I was misinformed regarding allergens. When choosing a dessert, ( semifreddo ) I asked twice about the ingredients and the presence of lactose: not only was I informed that there was no lactose in it (I asked about cream, butter , milk to eliminate the misunderstanding) but I was told that it was a dessert specifically dedicated to people who could not eat dairy products and there is no milk nor cream. Which is a lie. The base is cream. For those with intolerances please beware.
Ps. A first-class restaurant also requires a first-class response - and this, too, was lacking on your part. Instead of empathy and professionalism, I received a defensive lecture. Guests come to your restaurant not only for food, but also for trust and experience. If there was a misunderstanding, it could have been resolved with elegance and respect, not by dismissing my concerns as ‘completely untrue’. That is what makes the difference between a good place and an exceptional one.
