If you visit Alghero, make sure to visit this restaurant. The whole experience was outstanding. The food was very delicious. For me, the highlight of the dinner was the homemade gelato. The owner was very friendly and made sure we are having a good time throughout the whole evening.

Amazing food and Atmosphere. The founder/ head chief came round to and told us what the names of the dishes ment to him very interesting story. What a fabulous place.

Almost Michelin level restaurant! Once in Alghero one must and cannot miss the dining experience in Il Pavone restaurant. The first night we went there it was fully booked, we went there the next night and got a seat. Very limited menu but whatever they serve is top notch. One can choose from the 3 options they have in their menu. 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert, 1 starter, 2 main courses and 1 dessert and 1 main course and 1 starter. We chose the most diversified option. Now for each starter main course and dessert one can choose from 6-7 different dishes. The taste still lingers in my mouth and I cannot wait to fly to Alghero and eat here again! The owner is a very friendly and funny guy, but one should never miss the cheese spread that he claims is his own creation. Loved the flavour of the spread. Dining here in Il Pavone is an experience one should not miss while in Alghero!

This is over hyper and over prized. I reallyd dont understand how this can have a mentioning in the Guide Michelin. The food is in no way over the average nor is the service which is rushed and they even forgot our table a couple of times. The food is not a big experience it is not bad and it tastes ok but in no way excellent.

A Truly Delightful Experience at Il Pavone! Il Pavone absolutely exceeded our expectations! The food was simply great, and every dish was a testament to their culinary skill. The service was incredibly professional, making for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. We were also charmed by the owner, who was very friendly and made us feel right at home. You must try the homemade crema cheese – it's absolutely incredible! And for a perfect end to your meal, we highly recommend the gelato. We can't wait to go back!
