Ristorante Imperialino

One of the finest meals we have ever had brought to us by the most attentive staff imaginable. Definitely on the more expensive side (and there was a screw up in billing, though no fault of the restaurant), but we can still unequivocally recommend this restaurant. I should also mention it's right on the lake and in good weather it's open-aired. Just don't forget to also eat a local crotto or other small establishment too.

This is the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to, nestled in the breathtaking surroundings of Lake Como. The combination of exquisite food and stunning views creates an unforgettable experience. The ambiance, the scenery, and the culinary delights all come together to make it a truly magical place.

One of the most memorable dinners on our trip. The tasting menu and wine pairing are very reasonable for the quality and service. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and accurately described the flavor and complexity. We had a great conversation with her and learned so much about the many areas of Italy she has worked. Highly recommend this place.

Top location right near the lake, attentive service, very knowledgeable sommelier. Bottle of wine is on the table and you do it yourself, for what they change this should not be the case. Food is 6/10 for me. Nothing wow about the food, I was expecting more flavours combination, no wow effect, nothing I will remember tomorrow. Ok wine list. Nice champagne by the glass.

EXCEPTIONAL WATERFRONT DINNER ☑️ couple of things we really liked about this place: ☑️ tasting menus are excellent and reasonable price at €110(be aware that both need to order the tasting menu) ☑️ wine paring is EXCEPTIONALLY well priced at just €30 per person! ☑️ food and service where excellent, home made breads and Buttler’s where also fantastic (even by Michelin standards), especially the tomato butter ☑️ location both outside and inside the building are really excellent. Very well furnished and kept gardens 🔚 in summary, would recommend this to be a ‘must do’ when stopping in the area.

Great experience! The staff was very kind flexible and professional. We took the tera 5 course tasting menu. Everything was very good and the portions were surprisingly sufficient (we added one more dish, it was reluctant). The view from the porch is extremely beautiful, especially during sunset.

Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Ristoranti Imperialino by the Lake Como. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere exuded elegance and tranquility, perfectly complementing the breathtaking views of the lake. The customer service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring every need was met with grace and warmth. As for the food, each dish was exceptional. The appetizer, Trout Pomponette, delighted my taste buds with its delicate flavors and impeccable presentation. The main course, Poached Sturgeon, was cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's mastery of seafood. But, the highlight of the meal was the dessert – a tantalizing tasting of chocolate and maracuja, paired with a dessert wine. The combination of rich chocolate and exotic maracuja danced on my palate, leaving me utterly enchanted. Overall, my experience at Ristoranti Imperialino was extraordinary. With its picturesque location, impeccable service, and heavenly cuisine, this restaurant undoubtedly deserves three Michelin stars. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

A place with incredible view and ambiance and a service which is professional, personal and with the right spirit to enjoy the wonderful tasty dishes (divin your chicken brest with a skin prepared i never tasted like that before - bravo!), accompanied by the perfect selection of wines by the sommelier. What an evening! We come back! And we did it again! Absolutely recommended. Great team, merci!

We were staying at the Grand Hotel Imperiale for a few nights and wanted a special dinner to end a fantastic vacation with friends. We were hoping for a table by the lake, but due to a rain and thunderstorm, we were seated inside but had a beautiful view. We ordered cocktails right away, and they came to the table and were delicious. The waiter brought out an amuse bouche which was perfection on a plate. Two plates each with two beet tarts, and two crackers with chicken mousse, and then an egg with the top removed filled with egg foam and prosciutto chunks on the bottom. We loved everything and looked forward to our dinner. Service up to this point was excellent. We each ordered our dinners, and my husband asked for a wine list. Our dinners were delivered, and a server dropped off the wine list. My husband waited and waited while eating his meal and no one came back to take his wine order, our server appeared MIA and never came back to check on us, our meals, if we wanted another glass of wine. We finished our meals, and we sat and sat, and sat for nearly 40 minutes before our server showed back up with the dessert menu. At this point we were annoyed. We all expected much more of a Michelin-star restaurant. We declined dessert, and again we waited at least 20 minutes if not more to get our bill. What started out as a special evening with a stunning view and excellent food ended on a negative note. The restaurant is quite pricey, and the food was delicious, but there are other restaurants in Moltrasio that are just as good with better service.
