We were traveling north along the Adriatic coast and needed to find a place for lunch, we tried several along the beach, but due to it being off-season, they were closed. We found. La Conchiglia D’oro and thought we’d give it a try, and we are so glad that we did! The service was impeccable from the moment we stepped in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful and super clean. We were greeted with a complementary welcome hors d’oeuvre of a small, bake cheese puff with an anchovy, absolutely delicious. we started with the tartare of Seabass and tuna, it melted in your mouth. The oysters, so briny and creamy and delicious. The bread is all homemade on site, fresh out of the oven. For our main lunch, we chose the risotto with shrimp, cooked to perfection, so creamy, so smooth, lots of shrimp and taste of shrimp throughout the entire dish. We asked for the recommendation of a white wine to go with our food and it was absolutely delightful. The staff is so welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable . Highly recommend this restaurant.
