Just had lunch here and it was fabulous. Excellent food, wine and service. Best meal we have had in our 7 days in Italy 🇮🇹

When driving from Faenza to Parma, I planned a brief stop in Castelvetro di Modena for a glass of Lambrusco Grasparossa. This locanda caught my attention, and I decided to stay overnight. Andrea Rossi promptly arranged a quiet corner room for me to stay. This place is beautiful and their restaurant is fantastic, offering dishes that have deep roots in the local cuisine. Their wine list is also very interesting. Edoardo was very kind and professional at the check-in, restaurant, breakfast, and check-out. It is worth a detour to have a dinner here.

Decevant pour un Michelin, plats fades et cuissons approximatives, le chef a t-il change? Guys, don't brag about it! Michelin's inspectors know their business as well as Google local guides, accept the criticism and think about what you may improve. And by the way, If you prefer to make jokes about it, you may well know that at least part of the criticism is founded... think about it ....

Very nice atmosphere and service. The food is unlike anything i’ve had while here in Italy. Get the ragu and the duck, it is actually insane how good this is!

Had one of my favorite meals in Italy after 3 days in Venice and 1 night in bologna. Stayed at the hotel and started my evening with a bottle of rosé followed by the rocket salad and burrata with anchovies as a starter and 2 pastas to share. The ravioli stuffed with potato and the tortellini were to die for!! We ordered another bottle of red followed by one last pasta. Dessert was the ruby chocolate which was absolutely sublime. The atmosphere outside on cobblestone path was quaint and very special. A long and lovely dinner that did not feel rushed or stuffy. A beautiful evening! Highly recommend especially for an experience in the countryside!

It is worth the drive up to Castelvetro for a short walk around the town and a nice meal. We enjoyed our dinner at Locanda del Feudo which is a cute spot in the heart of the old town. Good quality dishes and nice service. The Emilia salumi platter was a nice treat with selections from all over the region including a salami from Castelvetro.

Very good experience. 100% recommended.
