It's great and modern, but you need to know where you are going. this is an extremely refined cuisine, aimed at enhancing the flavors of the territory, of course, but also an extreme refinement of combinations and timing. The high cost is justified, in fact, because it is an experience rather than a classic dinner, just as the quality is indisputable. I did the full tasting menu with wine pairing, but I think I would have been disappointed if I had ordered a la carte. Overall I must say that I was satisfied, I don't like the genre though, a great experience!

Usually I do not recommend restaurants because can’t always like everything. We are all different, and tastes are different too, this is life. But now we have found a perfectionist paradise. We have visited the perfectly planned space with very attentive and careful staff, impeccable service and a kitchen that cannot be forgotten. I did not find any flaw in 12 dishes- “to explore”. Wish you to get your Michelin star soon.

The food, the ambience and above all the service were excellent. The whole evening was an all-round magnificent experience. From the home-grown ingredients, matching story the menu was based on to the perfectly implemented drinks accompaniment. We can recommend a visit to Mater 100%. We are very much looking forward coming back!

Great place with a clear focus on a creative cuisine tapping into an effective combination of local ingredients and respect and inspiration from local tradition. Beautiful dining room and very attentional service.

We stayed in the hotel Tre Baroni, and we never really investigated the restaurant adjoining the property...what a surprise and a real treat! The team there were fantastic, explaining the dishes and the process. The kitchen has glass the entire length and you could watch the chef and team prepare food, which was really interesting I won't give much more away, as if you are surprised like we were then it really adds to the experience but it's a must to visit if you are in the area. Thanks for a great night of food and experience!

Beautiful location in the middle of a national park. Beautifully renovated restaurant with a huge glass window into the kitchen, but also lots of windows overlooking the forest. Spectacular dining location. The dining experience, in our view, could not keep up with the location. Ambitious cooking with some nice moments and excellent execution on every dish. Unfortunately, not a single dish I would come back for, though. None of them left me with a "wow, I want another plate of this". All of them were a bit edgy, a lot of focus on bitter tones, and usually at the end of the each course one rather felt richer by an experience, but also not wanting to go back for more. The atmosphere in the restaurant felt a bit stiff and formal in my view. One would rarely see a smile, but rather a very professional, neutral face expression. By no means was the service bad, but I do prefer a more relaxed, friendly, chatty atmosphere over this very formal setting. The location has a lot of potential and the cooking definitely feels like its aiming at Michelin stars. A few more smiles and a few less edges in every single course and I'd be glad to come back in a few years time and see how things have developed.
