Excellent EXPERIENCE! If you're looking for a place where you feel like home, this is your destination. Pleasant and friendly staff which is more than happy to cater to your wishes and help you choose the right dish and accomodating drink for your palate. Excellent seafood with daily fresh ingredients and locally caught fish. We'll definifely be returning.

Extraordinary fish restaurant in center of Trieste, ask staff for recommendations and make sure to take spaghetti vongole and crab salad. Highly recommended!

It took one hour and a half to serve the main dishes on a Wednesday evening. We had to wait a lot. Food was good though.

Well this was SO good. Visited with a group, restaurant full of Italians, on a Tuesday night. We chose to share a local fish, similar to sea bream (which was brought to the table for us to see it before choosing it). It was then pan-fried and filleted and brought to us with some potatoes and a little spinach side dish. Beautifully cooked, delicious local food. I also tasted my neighbours spaghetti alla vongole which was equally delicious. And had never tried the Schioppettino local Friulian wine, also delicious, and a first for our friend who has just done her WSET 4!

Came here due to the great review, but left disappointed. The menu was small and we got simple stuff: spaghetti alla vignarola, fritto misto, salad and 2 glasses of white. Overall the portion was small. The wine (by glass) was quarter full! Never remember that we got so little wine in Italy! Spaghetti, well my husband can make better honestly. Salad was tiny and sad. Fritto was fine, at least fresh, but we just paid €24 for 2 ppl portion in Croatia vs here €22 for one. I know Italy is more getting more expensive but I'm willing to pay if the food is amazing. This is NOT a satisfying meal at all.

What a lovely place! The food was truly amazing, fresh and great quality! Wine choice was excellent and the service was also great, as well as the decor! Highly recommend!
