Wow! A real great dining experience with phenomenal views for an anniversary dinner. It’s high end food but not in a very pompous environment. The food was great and uses a lot of local and unique ingredients, like for example I tried the local beef called cabbanina.
They have a young team running the tables who provide great and positive service. Even though the restaurant is regarded high end and is on the Michelin list, it has a very laid back atmosphere with local families enjoying food there, too.
Also really great vegetarian options that are seriously thought of and not feel like an afterthought, as some restaurants might treat vegetarian dishes.
Finally, the road to the restaurant is a bit tricky as you have to drive up narrow and windy roads up a hill, but I guess that’s part of the adventure as the difficult journey brings you somewhere special. The restaurant has amazing views across the Ligurian coast and even has a huge patio to chill out and enjoy some drinks after your meal. The price is also accessible for such a special meal and doesn’t make you feel overly guilty for treating yourself or your loved ones.
