"As the name of this restaurant suggests, couscous takes pride of place on the menu, although other Sicilian specialities can also be sampled here. Delightful atmosphere, especially in summer when meals are served in the internal courtyard among the citrus trees." - Michelin Inspector

While in San Vito Lo Capo, we had a wonderful lunch at Michelin-starred restaurant, Profumi di Cous Cous. Because of the proximity to North Africa, the cuisine, as well as the architecture in this part of Sicily is heavily influenced by Tunisia. The restaurant had an extensive variety of couscous to chose from. I had the tuna with citrus pesto and almonds and eggplant. My friends had the swordfish. We also had a great bottle of Donnafugata white wine, one of my favorite vintners from the Trapani region. We ate in the beautiful gardens that have olive trees growing right throughout the dining area.

Tried the pesto pasta and was pretty disappointed — it was bland, lacked salt, and surprisingly had no basil. Honestly, it was the first pesto I've ever had without basil, which was odd. However, the lamb, meat, and pork couscous was absolutely incredible. Rich, flavorful, and comforting — it felt like being welcomed into a Northern Italian family's home. Truly the highlight of the meal. Service was friendly and attentive. If you go, definitely opt for outdoor seating — the atmosphere outside is much nicer than indoors. It

We had an amazing dinner at Profumi di Couscous — the food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Sicilian flavors, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, especially the couscous dishes which live up to the name of the restaurant. What truly made the night special, though, was the incredible service. The barman was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. His energy and care added a personal touch that made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Vito Lo Capo. We’ll definitely be coming back! — Igor & Marthina

After great expectations, a huge disappointment! Sorry, but who gave you a star??? Or did you buy it? The food offered was, in a word, terrible. I have never eaten such a bad, unflavored octopus salad, raw hard carrots? The baked potatoes with onion and rosemary did not even meet the onion and rosemary, sorry, and there was no salt. It is unacceptable for a steak knife to be drowned in the juice from grilled vegetables. On the other hand, I must praise the couscous, which was excellently flavored, soft, even though unpeeled small shrimps should not be there. The service sometimes seemed tired and in no mood, and the peak of dissatisfaction was that you had to go into the building to pay the bill. I have been to more than 30 starred restaurants around the world, but today I was disappointed by the great disrespect towards the food that should represent you. Try to fix it

This Michelin-recommended restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo serves Sicilian and other Italian dishes with rich, memorable flavors. I’ve been here several times and always left very satisfied. The food and the atmosphere are captivating—elegant but relaxed. Service is good, though it depends on the waiter. Still, the overall experience is consistently excellent.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely a five-star experience! The service was exceptional – grazie, Giuseppe! I’m not usually a big fan of couscous, but we tried the duo with two different varieties and both were surprisingly delicious. The burrata ravioli was delish as well! For appetizers, we had the octopus salad and chickpea fritters – both excellent. My dessert, the cassata siciliana, was the perfect finish. The wine list was also wonderful. Highly recommend!

Cous cous is in the name and cous cous delivered! Each section of the menu had both breadth and depth, and I appreciated the ability to mix different types of cous cous as a mini sampler of two. The homemade pasta was perfection, and every dish was an orchestra of flavor. The wine menu is a BIBLE offering every style imaginable. The only potential drawback is that, being a Michelin Star restaurant, you can feel like your every move is being watched as they look to ensure perfection and consistency in experience, but otherwise, the staff was incredibly friendly. Plus, the ambiance, especially outdoors, was adorable

Plentiful and attentive staff, amazing couscous, giant portions, so it’s a good idea to share courses. I really enjoyed the Couscous Duo, where you get two types of couscous dish with two sauces on one plate. Worth dressing to impress and reserving a table, especially near/at the weekend.
