Ristorante Risorgimento

I was very excited to try the tasting menu, and unfortunately was quite disappointed. First, I could not taste the ingredients listed in the menu, such as the kimchi with the octopus or the duck in the duck roll. The following food items were bland and did not have much flavour. For such a high price of €92 per person I was expecting something exceeding this quality. I told one of the servers I did not enjoy the food and they offered to bring me another menu item to which I declined - but did not seem like they cared to substitute the dish in the tasting menu itself. However they were attentive in other aspects. Overall, not a good experience. I left, still hungry.

A great find on this trip to Lake Garda. The food quality was unexpected, with the table side plating by the experience waiters amazing. Turbot and lamb were very good. The tiramisu is a must try.

We tested a lot of restaurants in Sirmione but when it comes to fine dining, this is truely the best restaurant in town! Amazing service, delicious food! It's worth every single Euro you spend there! Thank you!!!

The perfect place for dinner. We stopped here by chance on a Friday night as they had good vegetarian options (didn’t manage to take photos of unfortunately) which is hard to find in this area and wow the food was incredible. The service was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was great not too crowded but busy enough for a lovely vibe. We loved it so much we went back the following evening. This was a lucky find and would highly recommend to anyone who wants top notch food. The price was higher than most places in area but the food, wine & service was worth every bit spent. If you love good quality food the is the place to go.

A perfect place for a meal! The service was professional, attentive, and friendly. The food was excellent, and I was so happy to see vegan options on the menu. The restaurant has a cozy, elegant, and upscale atmosphere. Prices may be slightly higher than other spots in the area, but the experience is on a whole different level—well worth it!

It pains me to leave 1 star, but the food was bland and pretty certain we had some stomach issues from the food, fish was very “musty”. Service was good, but way too quick in rushing between courses.

Superb evening at Ristorante Risorgimento. The price point is set in a range that may put some off, however it's justified based on the quality of the cooking. Had the degustation menu with the notable highlights being the octopus, red prawn risotto and rabbit dishes. The inventiveness of the menu was fantastic and delivered with great service. Thoroughly recommend.

Great restaurant at a great location! We had a reservation for the family of 6 seats. As we arrived the table was ready for us and the staff greet us kindly. After we sat the staff brought to us a welcome starter from the Chef as we were first time in the restaurant. It took some time to serve the dishes but it was worth it. Some of us needed Gluten-Free dishes and Vegan options so the staff explained to us the menu patiently. As they hadn't gluten-free fresh bread they served us Schar packed bread. Very Recommended restaurant.

This place was by far the best restaurant we tried on the peninsula in Sermione, Lake Garda, and right near the castle. We had squid ink tagliatelle to share to start, followed by the Sea Bass which came with a few different fabulous sauces, and we shared the pork cheek with mashed potatoes as a final course which was beyond delicious. Each course blew us away, and service was attentive but not intrusive. It was about to rain before we sat outside so we were able to a table on a Saturday in September without reservations, otherwise I would recommend reserving a table as the restaurant is not large. A bit pricey compared to other places here but worth every penny. The wine is also available in half bottles so we had a few! They also took AmEx which most places do not, so that was a plus. This place was certainly a highlight of our beautiful trip to Lake Garda (put on your bucket list!!)
