"Opened in 1950, Roma was the first Italian restaurant of Luxembourg, and it remains true to its founding authentic values. Seventy years on, little has changed and the venue, adorned with Venetian chandeliers, is still as vibrant and colourful as the food is wholesome. The pasta is homemade and oozes with crisp Mediterranean accents. Examples include pasta stuffed with seafood and a velvety vongole-type sauce or why not order a melt-in-the-mouth medallion of lamb, flanked by a gutsy gravy, mashed potatoes and scamorza? Themed festivals and a varied menu with something for everyone transform each meal into a feast." - Michelin Inspector

Freshly made pasta, breads with balsamic vinegar/olive oil. Gourmet moderate entree portions. Authentic Italian cuisine. Decadent desserts like tiramisu. Very busy Thursday evening. May need to park 2-3 blocks away. Not much seating capacity so might be waiting for a table but does have a bar counter. When at seating capacity could be on site a couple of hours if including appetizers. Be prepared to chit chat.

Roma is such a gem for the authentic Italian dishes in the area. We were there for celebrating my husband’s birthday. The atmosphere was cozy. Our waiter was sweet and accommodating. We did order Supplì for appetizer(perfectly fried, served on the bed of marinara). Gamberi e Pomodori Sechi and Genoveve Di Mare for entrees. The portions looked decent enough for 2 people but we were really full by the end of the meal. I will be back to try their house made tiramisu.😌☺️

The food was wonderful. There four of us and we each had different entrees and all of us were impressed.

Nice restaurant, food was really good, authentic Italian taste. Service was a little slow but adequate. Atmosphere was beautiful but quite loud. We were there for a special birthday and no mention was made. Prices are a little expensive for portion size but a good meal overall.

Google
We thought this place was great! Our server was super sweet and very helpful. The food was great and well prepared. The mushroom/sausage pasta could’ve used a little more flavor, but noodles and consistency were great and the shrimp/sundried tomato pasta was very flavorful so that made up for it. The Manhattan was fabulous and the restaurant is super cute, a great spot for a date night. We will be back to try other dishes soon!

Google
What a beautiful experience!! We sat outside. This place has a cozy, warm n welcoming feel, inside and out. Our server, Beth, was simply wonderful and very hospitable. She did her job to a T. The food was delectable, and the limoncello sauce with the chicken is a must-have. Had a Moscato, and my friend loved her light beer. Will definitely go back.

All I can say is absolutely amazing! Calamari, the bread, I can't remember the two dishes names we got, but amazing!

Google
What a grand way to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary! The food is delicious with homemade everything. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service exquisite! Our server, Jasmine, was attentive, friendly, and joyful. We loved the old space, but the new space is marvelous too. We highly recommend you give it a try and support our local family-owned businesses. They definitely exude love in everything they do!

Yelp
The service was great, the ambiance was perfect for a date. And the food turned out good.

Yelp
Craving Italian, we decided to try a new spot and landed on Ristorante Roma. The interior was very nice - dark and moody with exposed brick that gave it a cozy atmosphere. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, which came out surprisingly fast, even before our first glass of wine. You get 3 meatballs and they were very good! Maybe just slow down how fast they come out compared to being served our first drinks. For mains, we had the Cacio e Pepe and the Bolognese. Both dishes were good - just not a standout for us. One note: The restaurant prides itself on cooking pasta the authentic Italian way, served al dente. Personally, I found it a little too al dente (a bit more chewy), though that may come down to preference. If you're used to softer pasta, you might want to try a different dish. Our server was very nice.

Yelp
Our most recent visit to Roma was nothing short of disastrous. I ordered the salmon; my wife chose a pasta dish. The salmon arrived pallid and lifeless, a gray apparition on the plate--more reminiscent of something exhumed than caught fresh from the sea. It was, without exaggeration, the least appetizing preparation of salmon I've ever encountered, in both presentation and flavor. My wife's pasta offered no redemption. Overcooked to the point of stracotto collapse and cloaked in a sauce that tasted as though it had been siphoned directly from a can of Chef Boyardee, it managed to offend both texture and taste. Suffice it to say, we won't be returning.

Yelp
There was a great wine selection, staff were helpful and informative. This tasted like real Italian food.. it will not be like Olive Garden but that is a good thing! They are able to accommodate larger parties of people which is nice. I would definitely return.

Yelp
The food was very tasty but the clams were so tiny there were basically nothing in there, it was just shells . The server took our orders which was two pasta dishes and we only received one plate of food bc he did not put in it which was odd bc we only ordered 2 plates of food so was not a big order . Overall the food was delicious

Yelp
First time back since they moved to the new spot and it did not disappoint. Beth our server was awesome. Great recommendations by her. Atmosphere was great. Decor fits a classy Italian restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the lobster ravioli and it was so good. Prices are very reasonable for such a great meal. Oh and they have valet parking. You want a classy Italian meal in Carmel this is the place.

Yelp
we went as a family and it was a good family friendly restaurant. i do feel like there was too much of a hype for what we got . the food was okay , not bad but just not something to truly be impressed. The service was good , the waitress was attentive and answered all of our questions when we were trying to choose

Yelp
I heard a lot of good reviews about this place and decided to try it for my birthday for some authentic Italian cuisine. Parking is not ideal for getting here as they have a very small parking lot but some street parking available. The restaurant is a good size but still cozy. We were were seated near the front in the evening so it the sun was blinding every now and again from where is was setting but not the worst thing. I enjoyed my food I just didn't love it. I did enjoy the complimentary bread with olive oil/balsamic dipping sauce. We had some fried brussel sprouts that were good and some deep fried rice/mozzarella bites (suppli) that i felt were too cheesy/fried to enjoy. I ordered the Gamberi E Pomodori Secchi (fettuccini with shrimp and sun dried tomato sauce) but it was too heavy on the sauce/not my taste preference. I did leave here disappointed that it did not seem to live up to the standards my friends set. However, there were a lot of other dishes and positive reviews from others that I would be willing to give it another shot but would definitely try other things on the menu. We had a nice server and everyone we interact with was kind!

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic Italian; then this is the place for you. However, understand that authentic Italian is not like "American authentic Italian" if you know what I mean. Nonetheless, the appetizer meat balls were phenomenal, but the bruschettine di carne looked good but did not execute well. That app needed something more than just steak and bread. The entrees were good, but nothing over the top. And to be fair; in my opinion that's just how authentic Italian tastes (it had flavor but not as much as you would think). The service was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have enjoyed our time there anymore than we did. Check this place out!

Yelp
Food was excellent! This is my second time there! Recommend the Genovese di mare! The pasta is made in house and it is a family business and they are from Rome! Not too loud. Parking can be difficult on busier days! Service is excellent!

Yelp
My friend and I decided to meet up on a Thursday night. We both were craving pasta so decided to stop by here. We ordered the Italianissima (salad), Genovese Di Mare, and Spaghetti Alle Vongole. Everything was okay, but the Genovese Di Mare - something about the noodles just wasn't to our tasting. I'd like to come again to try their other dishes because my friends really enjoyed the lamb chops and ravioli. Our server offered to split our salad into two dishes so that we can easily share, which was nice. She was also very attentive and made sure we had everything. It's a perfect ambience for date night as well - will bring my husband next time since he loved pasta.

Yelp
Riley, our server, made this meal a 10/10 experience. We'd honestly give it 12/10. This was a top 3 experience on the northside. The service and greeting were personal as soon as we walked it. We were seated immediately and loved the romantic ambiance of the restaurant. It feels tiny and intimate inside. The food was fantastic. Every bite was so so delicious. They even had gluten free tortellini which I'd never been offered before. We would recommend Ristorante Roma for any occasion, a celebration, occasion, or date night.

Yelp
We enjoyed yet another delicious dinner at Ristorante Roma. On this visit, Lisa took great care of us at the high top table in the bar area. Our menu choices on this visit were: Bruschettine di Carne starter, Italianissima salad, Gamberi e Pomosori Secchi entrée, and Genovese di Mare Spaghetti entrée. We also opted for the bottle of Alpataco Malbec. We were quite pleased with each of our choices and took home plenty of leftovers to enjoy. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Enjoyed a date night here. Quant peaceful interior with a large bar for cocktails. Outdoor seating available but not always in use. Our waiter was wonderful and we enjoyed our server very much. He was knowledgeable about all the restaurant had to offer and clearly very pationate about his job, some of the best service we've had in a while. Food was great, highlight was definitely the bruschetta de carne. Pasta is all made fresh daily and you can certainly tell. Sauces were also great amd so we're drinks. They were pretty crowded on a Sunday night so I would expect a wait on a weekend at normal business hours.

Yelp
The food was very good, I had the crab stuffed shrimp special in a garlic sauce. Wife had the flat bread and it was very good.

Yelp
I would give this restaurant 10/5 stars if I could! I have been wanting to try this place for months and when we finally did, it did not disappoint! The service from the moment you walk in is spectacular. Our server had a very large and busy party but still made our experience wonderful. They have a lot of wine and drink options. I love that they even had a two mocktail choices. We ordered 2 appetizers that were amazing and our meals were just as good! The atmosphere is upbeat and lively. It also has a dark, romantic vibe that would make it perfect for a date night. This is a must try restaurant and is definitely in my top 3 list of italian restaurants I have visited!

Yelp
This place ROCKSSS. We tried to go to the Christmas market + it was closed, so we decided to try one of the restaurants near by. Our waiter, whom I forget their name, was seriously amazing. Older man with a giant personality, fun jokes, and amazing service. He seriously made our night. He gave perfect recommendations from their menu and he made the best aperol spritz for me... so obviously this place is just awesome. It was dimly lit which was so nice and cozy + the only thing you could hear in there was all the conversations from the rest of the guests which honestly just added to the vibe. Loveeee this spot.

Yelp
Maybe they were having an off night during our visit, as our food was served cold and the pasta cooked unevenly. My husband and I both ordered the Genovese Di Mare. You could tell the pasta was homemade, but parts of the dish were undercooked and chewy (beyond al dente.). The seafood did not have much flavor, but may have been because it was cold. We ordered a Caesar salad which was ok. Whole anchovies on top of the salad were a little overwhelming, we were expecting a little more subtle introduction of the anchovies. There was also a small charge for the anchovies on the bill. Destiny, our server, was friendly and attentive. A manager did check on us, but we did not want to complain as we were with friends and didn't want to spoil the holiday mood. The dining room is upscale, nice and cozy. There is a small dedicated parking lot. They have such great reviews. Maybe this was just an off night.

Yelp
The food, the service, the ambience ... 5/5. Located in the heart of Downtown Carmel. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
We dined here for National Pasta Day last night and loved every bite. The salads are incredible, the service has always been wonderful (shout out to our lovely server Destiny!), and the pasta combinations are delicious and interesting. We love how you can choose the homemade sauce and protein and then pair it was the type of pasta you prefer. I ordered the... + Ortolana salad: Seasoned romaine lettuce tossed in extra virgin olive oil topped with seasoned heirloom tomatoes, finished with our balsamic reduction. + Genovese di Mare on pappardelle pasta: Sautéed shrimp and bay scallops married with our fire-roasted tomato sauce and Genovese basil pesto. Topped with extra virgin olive oil and parsley. Tomato sauce and pesto?! I couldn't resist it. The portion sizes are great and the ambience inside is so relaxing. My parents love that you can hear each other talk, so this is a great spot for both an intimate date night or a family gathering. We'll be back soon!

Yelp
The food was phenomenal!! So delicious, freshly made pasta, amazing salads. Our service was also very very good and our server was very polite and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Roma was delicious as usual! I tried their special which was a butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter squash. Portion was very small. But it was really delicious. This is a me thing but I really strongly dislike sitting at their round tables. They are too small and so cluttered with stuff. We always remove half the stuff on the table and put it on the windowsill beside us. Whenever we sit at one of those tables I get so stressed. Definitely not enough room for 5 people let alone 6. Also I have been getting a little frustrated with Roma the last couple times we've gone. They use "authenticity" as an excuse to not offer any sort of flexibility with their menu. We had someone in our group with a strict diet. All they wanted to get was plain chicken and a side of pasta. It was like pulling teeth to get it to happen. By time someone did make it happen, the rest of our table had already eaten and finished. I'm all for authentic food, I love it in fact! But personally I have been to Italy and every restaurant is willing to make accommodations for someone's diet. So I just find it a teensy bit ridiculous.

M S.

Yelp
Been twice and had bad service both times. When we went they weren't packed. The first time the waiter just disappeared. The second time the waitress acted like we were invisible. I haven't left a 10% tip in 20 years, but I did on our last visit. If I left what was deserved it would've been zero. We won't be back.

Yelp
Excellent good and service. Price is $$$$ but a unique dining experience. Great wine selection

Yelp
I had an awesome meal tonight with some of the most fantastic service. I met someone for a work dinner with the hopes of having a good meal. This place exceeded my expectations. The host staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Gave us the option of a table or in the bar and we were fine with sitting at a table in the bar. The service was spot on throughout the entire night. You would almost say too fast. The recommendation for the wine was not the most expensive, showing that they were not just trying to upsell when they recommended something. The salads were fresh and delicious, and great bread as well. We had the meatball appetizer, and they were so delicious. We could have just eaten them for dinner. We both ordered a salad and they were both fresh and expertly prepared. I was surprised at how delicious the cherry tomatoes were. We went with the stuffed ravioli, and my guest inhaled it, and said it was one of the best he'd ever had. We had dessert and my guest had the tiramisu. He was pleased that it was not too heavy on the coffee flavor. I had some type of chocolate dessert with espresso poured over the top, which was a real treat. Service was always on point and they brought out the next course as soon as they had cleared the plates for the previous one. You didn't have to wait for it or wonder where anyone was. Multiple people helped with bringing dishes and clearing dishes. It was like a smooth orchestrated event and we both commented on how excellent the service was, especially given the service at most restaurants these days. I think it's rare these days that you find this level of service at a reasonably priced restaurant, with excellent food. I will be back.

L R.

Yelp
Disappointing and over-rated; everything about this place is average. Both the food and service were average. Pricey and pretentious does not equal a better experience. There are better Italian restaurants out there!

Yelp
This restaurant had been recently recommended to us and since we were in Carmel at the CAT theater for a show we decided to have dinner here. It was a great choice. We got seated almost immediately with a reservation and I'm glad we did have a reservation as the traffic coming into the restaurant after we were seated was almost steady. Our servers did a great job of advising us on menu items which were spot on. We started with complimentary crusty bread and olive oil dip. We shared an appetizer of baked baby Brussels sprouts that were amazing. I had the bolognese pasta as my entree and it was tasty and plentiful. We shared a dessert of tiramisu that was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and casual.

Yelp
WOW!! What an absolutely lovely restaurant, family owned and the service was professional, friendly and our waitress was very attentive. The ambiance is very romantic and very personal. Great place to have a nice meal. I ordered the ravioli Formaggi and My Husband ordered the lamb chops with seasonal roasted vegetables! Both meals were extremely flavorful and absolutely delicious. There was smoky flavor from the pancetta in my ravioli and it had a lovely richness from the homemade cheese ravioli. My Husband's lamb chops were extremely flavorful and tender. It was an amazing night with great food. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Not sure if we caught them on an off night, but it was just OK. We had a reservation for 6:30 on a Monday, but they seemed a tad overwhelmed or behind a good chunk of the evening. First, a took a decent bit to be waited on and take our orders and then an equally decent bit longer for our entrees to arrive. While I did appreciate the bread and olive oil/balsamic for dipping, it would have been better with a bit of seasoning or cheese spread on as well. I chose the sorrentina sbagliata pappardelle ($22), which was plated nice and tasted fine, but it didn't stand out from an angle of flavor contrasts. I guess I just wanted to like it more. Wife ordered vodka e basilico fettuccine ($21), which she liked better than I did my own dish, but seemed to share a similar sentiment overall Maybe we need to give them another chance or try different dishes, but based on this visit I would prefer my experiences at The Italian House in Westfield if we get to eat in the garage out back on a nice weather day or even our recent trip to Maggiano's this past Spring.

Yelp
First visit since they've moved. Love the building. So much bigger and nicer than the plaza location. Our server Savanna was great. Caesar salad. The dressing didn't have an abundance of flavor but it was good. I got La DELICATA with Pappardelle, Crushed walnuts, and hand crafted delicate cream sauce. The sauce was lovely. The pasta had quite the toothsome bite. Really could have been cooked a bit more. I don't like soft pasta at all, but super firm isn't great either. I'm a big fan of walnuts and cream sauce. Husband got FILETTO AL GORGONZOLA Filet mignon grilled. Served with house made gorgonzola sauce and rotating seasonal vegetables. The steak great, the gorgonzola sauce awesome, the seasonal veg bad. Neither of us like zucchini. Dessert. Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse both really good. Really great location and surprisingly not very busy.

Yelp
Ristorante Roma is located in downtown Carmel, In. The parking is not the best but the food is good. We all came here for a group gathering and the accommodations were just what we needed. We had a large group of approximately 13 people and the service remained flawless. We all had several dishes that we all enjoyed. The is a small restaurant that is worth a try. I tried a seafood pasta by the name of Genovese Di Mare. At this location they will allow you to chose the pasta of your liking from there selection. The dish was fresh and seasoned well. The bread was also fresh and had a delightful oil accompaniment. I can say Ristorante Roma has the BEST Old Fashioned cocktail that I've tried at any restaurant. This restaurant is definitely work a try and the cocktails are just as good. I also recommend the lemon drop martini.
google avatar

Debbie E.

Yelp
Our wonderful server, Beth, explained that the four pasta choices are homemade fresh daily and the variety of sauces are their specialty. I chose the Genoese di mare with fettuccine, featuring sautéed shrimp and bay scallops and a fire-roasted tomato sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked - I recommend this dish. There are daily specials and all the menu prices are reasonable. Nice patio seating available. Parking garage nearby or taking your chances on the crowded streets.

Yelp
Updated from a 4 to 5 star! Loved this place and our server was so nice! The only thing I wish they offered was to add chicken to the Carbonara, other than that it is such a lovelt place to come and eat

Yelp
Amazing place. Out of all the places I tried in Indy, Seattle, Chicago, NYC, and Europe - this is one of my favorite restaurants now. It is owned by an Italian family and they make all of their ingredients from scratch (pasta, sauces, even powdered sugar). We ordered Bocconcini Di Prugne (dates wrapped in bacon) to start followed by a few pasta dishes - La Delicata Spaghetti, A'Sorrentina Gnocci, and a special papardelle pasta with steak strips and a pistachio sauce. To say that all of them tasted incredible would be an understatement. The appetizer was 10/10 and so were all the pastas - fresh, perfectly cooked, and presented nicely. To finish it off, I ordered a strawberry panna cotta dessert and absolutely loved it. It had that really strawberry flavor, not just a hint of it. Great texture. Last but not least, our server Jasmine was fantastic. Very friendly, attentive, and quick. She explained the menu and offered some wine recommendations (we tried one and it was spot on). Ask for her if you're dining in! To sum up - I'm happy we finally came here and can't wait to try out other dishes on the menu next time. The place also has a free parking nearby and a terrace outside!

Yelp
Came here with my wife and some friends on a Saturday evening and was not disappointed. This was honestly one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. From the bread and oil, to the homemade pasta, wine, and sambuca; this place has it all. Very lucky to have a restaurant like this in the area. Can't wait to go back
google avatar

Yelp
My Fiancée and I went to this restaurant and absolutely loved it! First off, all of the staff are wonderfully kind and professional. Immediately we were happy with our choice to dine here because the staff alone made us feel like they were genuinely happy that we were there. Each waitress and waiter really seems to know the menu super well and they all seem very passionate about what is on the menu which makes everything on it sound great. The food itself was perfect. I try to make it out to Italy as much as I can and because of this I find it difficult to find restaurants with good pasta. That is certainly not a problem here. The food is spectacular and the portion sizes are perfect. I would argue that if you are in the Carmel area and you are wanting Italian then this is by far your best option.

Yelp
I have been here a few times, but always at the older location. I stopped in on a whim for a Sunday dinner at the new location right off of Main Street and it wasn't crowded when I came in, but was packed by the time I left. I love the story behind this place and the service has always been great. One of the main reasons I keep returning is because of the experience itself, but the food this time was lacking. I had the Pasta Genovese Di Mare again - as I always have since it's so good - but this time it wasn't as flavorful. The most prominent flavor in the dish wasn't the most appealing and sadly I didn't finish it. My friend had a specialty mushroom and truffle carbonara and she was not super pleased with hers either and said she'd try a different dish if she returns. Overall the experience is great and the new location is superb. Plenty of tables, dim lighting, and an catered to experience, but I'm slightly bummed about the actual meal.

Yelp
Great service and excellent food. We started with the BRUSCHETTINE DI CARNE He got LA BOLOGNESE and I got GENOVESE DI MARE, both very good. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for his birthday. Our server was very attentive and gave us very good recommendations.

Yelp
Had one of the best dining experiences at Roma last night. The staff was so friendly (especially the bartenders) and the service was great! The food and drinks were top notch. The bacon wrapped figs were delicious . Our waiter was proficient in Italian which just made the whole experience even more special. Overall, it was just such a delightful evening . I cannot wait to return this summer to enjoy their outdoor patio.

Yelp
Such a nice date night spot! Came here the other week and was greeted by friendly and personable staff. It was me and my boyfriend's first time and our waitress walked us through the whole menu and had taken the time to help us choose between several meals. We had complementary bread/oil to start and ordered fried rice stuffed with mozzarella. We both thought it was going to be different than what it was, was still good but may try something new next time. I got a wonderful pasta with sausage and mushrooms while my boyfriend got ravioli in a Gorgonzola sauce. We were both very happy with our choices! I would definitely come back again and recommend to friends!

Yelp
Special meals are best spent in special venues. Roma is one of those ... we celebrated birthday with another couple and everyone was very happy with our meals. In addition to menu and quality food, was excellent service with itemized roles across 4 functiins. This was as much a part of experience as food itself. We started with Supplì (Arancini) and Pecorino Brussel Sprouts. I got the lamb pops, which came with grilled veggies and a red russet hand smashed and was well seasoned and fresh. The cook was perfectly done as medium rare. The star dish was Filetto Ravioli which was stuffed with grilled steak filet and was pocketed in a hearty pasta rolled to a #4 thickness. It was delightful. I had Caprese Salad and true to Italian food, it was fresh and light and mozzarella was well executed. I want to know their source, as I believe they make their own... it had a rich balsamic and fresh grape tomatoes side. For credibility... we have been to Rome, have family in Marcollo con Cosone and I believe the chef here is a broad spectrum italian from Sicily to Venice and leans towards Tuscan style. IMHO. Fantastico ... Grazie Mille!!!

Yelp
Went here for a girls dinner, but would also come here for a date night with the man I'm not yet seeing. Started with a tasty old fashioned, no apps, just the yummy bread and dipping oil. I, and one of the other girls, had the Genovese Di Mare which was soo good and enough to take a little home. Another had the Pollo Al Limone and said she loved it! And another had the Sorrentina Sbagliata which she thought was delicious as well! I had a glass of Chianti with my entree and it paired well. For dessert, a tiramisu and the chocolate cake was taken home. The chocolate cake was just ok, definitely not worth 14$, it was small and a dessert I wouldn't order again for the price. Go to cake bake where the slice is huge and it's only 2$ more. Will update on the tiramisu once I hear back about it!

Yelp
If you like Italian, put this place on your list!! Super cute interior, intimate and moody. Drink menu was great. I started with an Italian Old Fashioned and it was delicious. The bread was made fresh and was warm when served. I wasn't a huge fan of the dipping oil but honestly, the bread didn't even need it. I ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta (definitely don't remember what it was called as all the names are in Italian). It was so, so good. It didn't feel overwhelming and heavy but was a generous portion. I'll definitely be back to try different combinations as you can select whatever pasta you like for each dish. Great date night spot and right in the heart of Carmel.

Yelp
Service is excellent and friendly. The ambiance is casual but classy at the same time. The food is excellent. It is not what I expected--you choose what you want on your pasta, then you choose the type of pasta you want it on. This worked fine for me because I appreciated the detail in the sauces & preparation, but it did not work well for my husband who prefers simpler and less expensive food experiences. If he could have ordered a piece of lasagna or some spaghetti and meatballs, with a basic side salad, he would have been much happier. As it was, the options were more complex and more expensive than we like. So you know what to expect: For 2 side salads and two meals and one shared desert with no drinks--only water to drink, our meal was 110 after a 20% tip. Although we won't be back, I enjoyed a delicious salad and my seafood pasta meal and half of a great piece of cake, so for me it was still a nice evening out.

Yelp
Our first visit to the cozy, charming Roma will definitely not be our last! While it took a little longer than we liked to see our server he was on it once we got started. We started off splitting the Italianissima salad, it was light and fresh and the walnuts were a great touch. My husband devoured his Bolognese while I chowed down on the gluten free preparation of Pappardelle Alla Boscaiola. The gluten free pasta was perfectly cooked and all of the pasta dishes can sub out the noodles. We finished dinner with the tiramisu (delicious) and the blueberry pannacotta. Looking forward to going back to Roma and trying more of their delicious dishes!

Yelp
Great Italian restaurant in Carmel run by a family. This is their new location and it is very modern and well decorated, which helps match up to their amazing food. We started out with an appetizer which was steak on bread with balsamic and it was delicious. We also got Italian mules which hit the spot. You're able to pick any of their homemade pastas to match with their sauces, and I chose their sauce with scalloped insurance to have with no key and it was delicious. Other people at our table got pistachio sauce with linguine and that was my favorite. We also ended with the tiramisu which hit the spot. We will be back to try other items on menu! Kind and well versed staff!

Yelp
Overall a perfect night - all thanks to Roma. I called and made reservations for 11. The team was able to accommodate and even called day of to confirm the number of people! They still let us sit even though 2 of our party was running late to let us get started. The server was knowledgeable on the menu. Detailing specials and suggestions. We had wonderful wine and the food was amazing. Every plate was good. Including the butternut squash ravioli, gnocchi, and meatballs. When I return the hardest part will be choosing what to have next!

Yelp
The service was good. When a couple didn't make it to their reservation we where quickly seated after they called them to confirm their cancellation. The pasta however left a lot to be desired unfortunately. Not bad but there are better Italian places.
