Ristorante Teatro alla Scala il Foyer

Great place, with delicious snacks and desserts in the bar… elaborated cocktails and perfect risotto allo zafferano… we enjoyed the place before La Scala performance but it is also great for other occasions…

stylish setting, but a bit overrated Let’s be honest – the location inside Teatro alla Scala is spectacular, but the food, while good, doesn’t quite justify the hype or the price. It feels like the high cost is more about the address than the plate. Important note: If you’re just looking for coffee or a light snack, they won’t seat you unless you’re ordering a full meal. Once you order lunch or dinner, they’ll serve drinks or desserts as well. Staff were polite and professional, as expected from an upscale place. Overall, I had no complaints about the service or quality – just personally feel it’s slightly overvalued.

at first sight the place looks very nice. However, the waiter was not professional when i asked for a table he saw my wife wearing hejab he said we are full no table available right now even though many tables were empty. I believe if he said do you have a reservation it would be good i assume. It kind of racism.

My favourite cafe and bar in Milano. Good coffee and sweets are also tasty. I like the cosy atmosphere at the bar. Crowded sometimes.

Didn’t try the restaurant of La Scala Opera Theater, just had coffee and a mediocre cruffin. The double cinnamon roll needs to take a trip to Denmark to see how it’s made properly. Nice ambience though.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Ristorante Il Foyer and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond—every detail was handled with care and warmth. The food was phenomenal (truly some of the best we had all weekend), and the ambiance struck the perfect balance between elegant and welcoming. They were incredibly accommodating of our group’s needs and made us feel like family. Highly recommend for anyone looking to host a special event—or just enjoy an unforgettable meal. 2nd visit to Il Foyer this break. Cappuccino and a cheeky Rossini. The cakes and biscuits are more than delicious and the panini was just what we needed. Worth a visit if you visit La Scala and only a short walk through the beautiful Galleria Vittoria Emanuele 2 from Piazza Duomo. Fabulous xx

The only nice and truly caring staff member was the asian woman with the short hair, the rest of the staff never smiles and it's a little too rude. The rest is extremely fine! Works as a bar as well, the bathroom is gorgeous but one was broken. Many compliments to the Marketing team!!
