"This Italian restaurant is located in a quiet corner of Eagle-Vail, and is pretty charming once you get past the strip mall entrance. The small bar only has several seats, but it’s exactly where you want to be—if not, there are some cozy banquette-lined nooks throughout the space. The best and most unique dish on the menu is the pollo alle fragole, or strawberry chicken. While it might sound like a Chopped challenge gone wrong, the chicken tastes great with a pop of bright berry flavor, red onions, red pepper flakes, and a brandy cream sauce, all over angel hair pasta. If you need a basic Italian lesson, “ti amo” means “I love you,” so it naturally makes sense to go here for a special date night after a day of hitting the slopes." - Kim Fuller

Dan our server was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. When I was worried the Gorgonzola gnocchi dish might be too rich for me he allowed me to choose another sauce (sun dried tomato pesto cream) and it was incredible!! I order gnocchi at every restaurant across the country I get a chance and this ranks in the very top of my list!!

Haven't been in over 10 years. Caesar fantastic. Chicken scallopine w/ angel hair amazing. Cappuccino torte to finish things off was incredible (made in house) Ken was a terrific host. This place rocks. Unequivocally, the best Italian in vail valley.

We love this place. An old school Italian place that serves locally and responsibly sourced produce and meats. Every dish we have ever had here has been so well executed where every aspect is on. The only issue we had was the last time we visited we felt rushed through our meals where courses were right on top of each other. We made a reservation for an earlier slot as we had an early start the next morning, but that doesn't mean we wanted to take our time and enjoy our meal. I didn't take any stars away from this as it might have been a one time thing, but besides this little issue, we feel this is one of the best hidden gems of the vail valley.

Great service. Extensive menu of traditional Italian dishes. But also great chef specials. Wine list is extensive. Dan was a great waiter.

Fast friendly service. Food was delicious. Even though sauces may look alike they had different and distinct flavors. The spicy sausage was great. The shrimp in the sauce wasn't over cooked. Everything was right. Would definitely go back if I visit Vail again.

Atmosphere was great, and the fresh bread with olive oil was delicious. I ordered the seafood ravioli and it was hands down the worst ravioli I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. The sauce had the consistency of water and barely any flavor. The outer edges of the ravioli were crunchy, not even close to al dente. And it was $36…. No thanks, never again.

local place. Our server this last time was not up to par, and even a little rude when asked to repeat the specials for lack of hearing her and understanding completely the accent being a young foreigner of Eastern Europe. Don’t recommend the bolognese, it lacks tomato based sauce, it lacks flavor and liquidy is the only way to describe the base. Other dishes were good.

I can’t imagine going to Vail and not stopping by for a dinner here. Always get amazing food and with such cute and homey vibes. Perfect place to get some great pasta after a long day in the snow. The two tasty options we most recently had were the Farfalle con Pollo and Pasta Gamberetti e Pesto di Pomodoro. I would absolutely get both dishes again as it would be tough to choose between the two, though the bow tie pasta itself was a little more fun and unique to eat. The very hearty portions were perfect to share between 3 people as well. The Cappuccino Torte was a nice and rich way to end the meal as well (though a scoop of gelato or ice cream on the side would push it over the top).
