Super cozy restaurant in this tiny little village in the heart of the mountains! Food is excellent: we shared a few different pasta dishes and a Fiorentina steak which was simply excellent. In addition the service is very professional and friendly and the place is spotless. There’s a nice home feeling in it. The price is in line with the quality of the food.

We visited this restaurant during our walk and bike vacation. Nice restaurant in the center of Lama. Very good home made pastas, as well as fine starters and desserts for a decent price. The lady of the restaurant translated the Italian menu and when we left she also gave some tips for visiting the region.

Despite being on the Michelin Guide, we doing this whole on a walk from Castello de Brandola. The steak tartare with truffles and potatoes was fantastic, as was the hospitality and authentic cuisine.

When you arrive at the restaurant, take notice of the Michelin ratings. Ratings are for the last 6 years and counting. Although it is situated in a small village, this restaurant is a blend of warm comfort and an inventive menu. The seasonal pumpkin ravioli with a balsamic reduction is superb. The pork scaloppini is excellent. The tagliatelle pasta is delicate and nearly transparent, so tender It will melt in your mouth.
We spent 16 days in Tuscany over the Christmas holiday and this restaurant was one of the high points.

We had a memorable lunch at the Vecchia Lama. We ordered the degustazione with funghi e tartufi. It is a fixed menu that consists of two primi, two secondi with contorno, dessert and coffee. We sat and enjoyed the dishes, the view, and the relaxing space for more than 2 hours. Slow food experience!
