"Situated just outside Randazzo, one of the villages with typical lava-stone buildings dotted around Mt Etna, this restaurant serves excellent local cuisine. Recipes featuring mushrooms and meat take pride of place on the menu, from antipasti such as the excellent mixed mushrooms to first courses of mushroom soup and mains that include a highly recommended “asado” (mixed grill) and an unmissable Nero dei Nebrodi capocollo ham." - Michelin Inspector

A lovely place a little off the beaten track but worth the visit for lunch. The meat here is of high quality (indeed the local town as a reputation for this) and there was emphasis on local ingredients, with mushrooms in the spotlight alongside the spectacular meat dishes. My partner ordered Ravioli ripieni di Speck e Patate al Pistacchio, which was opulent with a cream that begged to be cleaned up with bread. The wine selection is great; dessert is made from a place down the road and is clearly of high quality. Top tip: There is a quaint garden with a swing big enough for two under an ancient olive tree just outside the front of the restaurant. Not a bad place to digest after overindulging!

We were staying at a hotel nearby, and planned to go to this restaurant one day for lunch. We ended up going 3 days in a row! The food is absolutely amazing, and is high on the price / quality equation. We absolutely loved the mushroom appetizer and the fried pumpkin flowers. I am allergic to gluten and the chef had no problem with making last-minute adjustments to the dishes so that I could have them. We cannot say enough amazing things about the food and the staff!

Menu offers specialties and loved that their menu was short. Their specialties are quite good. The ravioli pasta filled with potato on a a pistachio sauce was creamy and full filling. Smooth and tasty. Impecable service. We were visiting the region and Francesco recommended us places to visit and restaurants. Place is gorgeous and lovely. Good to know that they are open on Tuesdays since many restaurants are closed on that day.

Stopped here for lunch and were overwhelmed by the quality of the food. The steak tartare with currants and the spaghetti porcini were og exceptional quality and this place truly serves up some magnificent food. The house wine was really good as well. Service was friendly but a bit whimsical and they lose top marks for adding hidden costs to the bill and overcharging us for the antipasti. Hope they get a bit more organised and they could well become one of the best places to eat in sicily.

Very nice restaurant. Dishes made with local fresh products, delicious mushroom dishes. Only thing is the price is a bit high for the same quality in Etna area.
