Ristorante Visteria

Wow! This dinner was the best dinner I have had in my entire life and we’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants! This restaurant is beyond deserving of Michelin status! The staff (Pepe and Aziz) were phenomenal and so professional and accommodating! Chef Francesco Sarno personally introduced himself before dinner, made suggestions, and delivered a meal we will remember for a lifetime. I’ve never had the sensory experience of smell, visual presentation, and taste all come together so magically. This restaurant and hotel gets 5 stars in my book! I hope I get the chance to return one day!

Dined at Visteria to celebrate a special occasion and it absolutely did not disappoint. The lake view was even more stunning in person, and the service was genuinely five-star from start to finish. It was the best dinner we had in Lake Como – made even better by the warm, personal touches throughout. A special thank you to Luca, who went above and beyond to make our celebratory evening truly memorable. Highly recommended!

This dining experience is second to none! It is a must for a special occasion when visiting Lake Como. We visited during our honeymoon and it is chefs kiss!! The food is incredible, 7 courses is actually 10 and the matching wine is like nothing you'll have had before. Staff were outstanding, and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. They were even kind enough to make a special dessert wishing us a happy honeymoon. Highly, highly recommend.

We had an amazing 3 course dinner experience here. The food was very delicious and flavorful. It was also very unique with the flavors. The brought out many complimentary appetizers and desserts. Just beware the price of champagne. They asked us if we would like champagne when we sat down and i didn’t realize they were going to charge us 160 euros doe the four glasses. All in all I highly recommend this place for dinner.

First night in Varenna, and how Ristorante Visteria did not disappoint! Simply put, best restaurant and experience we’ve ever had, and you cannot miss the opportunity to place a reservation. Service and dishes were impeccable!! Amazing attention to detail, and had catered to dietary restrictions for every course. Lovely for the Chef to come out and introduce themself to finish off the night. Thank you for having us 🩷

This place way exceeded my expectations in every regard. The whole restaurant staff and even the concierge who took us in treated us like a gold. We had 3-course meals + desserts that lasted 3.5 hours. Many surprise treats, a beautiful bread service, and chef’s table-side platings along the way. Each of us had a spectacular meal. Attentive, friendly, and impeccable service from the staff. Fresh and sensory stimulating plates. My kid tried everything and enjoyed her food too!

Amazing - that’s all there is to say. We did the 7 course menu (which ends up being more like 10 courses)… We left stuffed! Service is impeccable, and the quality/presentation of each dish was amazing. A highlight of our honeymoon for sure.

What an incredible experience at Visteria! We had the 6 course meal, but it ended up being 10 courses with a couple of extras, one of those being a special birthday dessert. The service was phenomenal. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes they were serving and answered all our questions. They genuinely cared about our feedback after each course, as they wanted to share that with the chef. Towards the end of the meal, the chef came out to talk with us. We thanked him and told us our favorite dishes. This was possibly the best dining experience I have ever had in my life. From the food, to the presentation, to the service, everything was top notch. Highly recommend Visteria to anyone staying in Varenna.
