The Best Irish Pubs in Las Vegas, According to Eater Editors | Eater Vegas

"This Green Valley Ranch pub is noticeably more laid back than its compatriots along the Strip. Ritchie McNeely’s is a whiskey-lovers dream with dozens of bottles of bourbon, Irish whiskey, rye, and more available in flights, singles, or doubles. Bar bites like Irish nachos with beer cheese sauce and corned beef egg rolls round out the menu." - Janna Karel

Due & Proper and Whist Shutter at The District at Green Valley Ranch | Eater Vegas

"Announced by the retail hub as the brand-new project from Johnathan Fine to replace Due & Proper, I found that Ritchie McNeely’s is being promoted as the incoming concept, though an estimated arrival date has not been revealed." - Bradley Martin

It's a great place to hang out. I love the atmosphere, design, space, and, of course, my old fashion. They also have happy hours. I have not tried the food yet, but I plan to go back for pork chops, as I saw other people order them, and they looked delicious. I'll definitely go back. They also have live music. Super cool!!!

Google
I wasn't overly impressed...happy hour only offered 2 types of mixed drinks & no wine by the glass...only 1/2 off bottles of wine. Had a prosciutto & fig panini but its was basically a grilled cheese. Nothing impressive. Cute place...but I'm hoping this was just a bad night.

Google
The food is truly good as is the pricing. The room was clean. Service was prompt at first, then quickly gone....avoidance...ghosted. The cook came out and asked if we enjoyed our meals. He was very nice and smiling. This was the second time we've been here and we had the same issue with wait staff then as well. Just do not engage, nor check to see if we need anything. Very sad.

Google
I did not want to go here because of the reviews but I wanted to try something new and they played the Golden Knights game for me! I was very happy with my server. She was great and attentive. She kept asking me what next I would like to try or if I was all right. The cocktails were great and I loved the recommendation of the Corned beef spring rolls! 🤤 I was there during happy hour and I guess it would have been nice to be told about happy hour and offered the menu for happy hour specials when I was asked what I would want. However, I feel like tasting the good items in the menu would be better first then last. Thank you for that wonderful experience!

Google
Really nice and laid back spot, of course this was on a late Monday night, so I’m pretty sure the weekends have a much different atmosphere and feel. Overall though, this is a cool spot with a wide selection of drinks and food, great location to bar hop from or just hangout outside. Definetly worth checking out if your on the Green Valley side of vegas.

Google
This place is awesome from the service to the food quality, atmosphere, ambience it was all great. We had a great evening! Thank you for making a special occasion memorable and Enjoyable! We will be back!

Google
This is in no way an Irish pub of any sort just a whiskey bar with a cool aesthetic. The atmosphere is really cool, it’s dark with huge leather booths and posters of black and whites from Irish history. There’s a couple of TVs and a wall full of bottles of whiskey. The food is just standard (overpriced) bar food from PRKWY next door. Our server was not very attentive and seemed to care more about the people at the tables with gaming machines, after she took our orders we didn’t see her again and had to ask the runner for drinks. There was a specific bartender just for the whiskey he was very informative and helpful with picking a whiskey for my husband, he even gave us advice on how to start drinking whiskey and where to start. While the place was beautiful I don’t think we will be back

Google
A little dark and smokey, the bartender was very nice and friendly. We had Guinness, Harp and whiskey, all were good pours. We got some fish and chips to go with the booze. The tempura battered fish was light and flakey and not greasy at all. The steak fries could have used a few more minutes frying, but overall good for bar food. Food was about 15 per person. Good whiskey is gonna run 16 bucks a finger.

Yelp
Located at the district at Green Valley Ranch in the old Richard McNeely, this place has been rebranded several times. The inside of the Oak room is not much different than it was before however, if you want a quick burger at a great place I recommend their $12 lunch burger with fries burger was cooked the profession on a great bun and delicious crunchy fries

Yelp
Okay Rebranding Alert! In my opinion this was Much Needed! The image from the front door in is now one of refinement and taste. The muted Jade walls and black velvet paper lined pillars work well together. New additions of lower tables and a couch are mingled with both booths and hightop cocktail tables. The bar is the same and they kept the televisions however the facelift overall is a win. We chose a nice bottle is red from the list and I had to try the Classic Old Fashioned. The cocktail was executed superbly. We then were served our appetizer, Cheeseburger Egg Rolls! OMG... Amazing, hot and delicious and a little bit greasy, as a good Cheeseburger should be! The House made Burger Sauce was perfect with it! Chicken Tenders were alright but that Biscuit...Holy Moly it was good! I had the Grilled Salmon served with Pesto Cream. It was good, a bit overcooked for my liking, even though I asked to have it done MR. But the dish was quite enjoyable. We were offered dessert, which sounded lovely but we passed. My one gripe, to the Owners and the Chef... why do you bother to serve Slaw when there was no effort put into making it enjoyable? Something that is so simple yet easy to really make it a special accompaniment.

Yelp
Review: We decided to check out the new bar, hoping for a good time, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. We put $100 into one machine and $60 into another while enjoying two rounds of drinks. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to find charges for drinks that should have been comped based on our play. What made it worse was the lack of service--nobody was behind the bar while we played, so we couldn't even order another round. When we brought up the issue, our server, Ivy, asked us how much we had put into the machines to verify whether our drinks should be comped. This felt unethical and unprofessional. It shouldn't be on the player to track their spending for comps--that's the bar's responsibility. To top it all off, the machines didn't pay out anything, which made the experience feel even more frustrating. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and unless they improve their service and transparency, I wouldn't recommend coming here for gaming or drinks, especially when GVR is right next door.

Yelp
We watched the golden knights game in there last night Great atmosphere and good food It was great time

Yelp
Now I know this profile is just Richie McNeelys old page with the name changed (hence the years old reviews for a restaurant open for a few months), but this place couldn't be more uninviting. Ive been here twice since the new name, once night and once day. Night time service was much better, this is primarily a review of my daytime experience. The bartender (who is bragging about being a bartender for over 21 years) is the least attentive bartender in a gaming bar ive ever seen. If max betting on machines and asking for another drink is a request that garners attitude and loses precedence to every other Tom dick and Harry in the joint then I guess it's what it is. But that's bad service where I was raised. Two stars only because of the night time crew (would be 4 on their own) who probably makes way less and gets less credit but daytime staff is shit.

Yelp
I'm a frequenter of The District, but I honestly think I've only stepped foot inside Ritchie McNeely's a couple times, if that. Came here with my husband, sister in law and her boyfriend and decided to grab a drink before we headed down to Water Street. It's pretty dark in here, but I believe it's supposed to be that way because it's supposed to feel like an Irish pub! They have cool photos around the bar, and tonsssss of whiskey. When I asked for a beer, our waitress let me know that they're really more well known for their whiskey and if you want beer, PKWY next door is more where thats at. But she did tell me they are getting Cali Creamin soon (swoooon) so that's exciting and I'll be back for that. With her recommendation, I decided to get an old fashioned with their house whiskey. They also have a limited food menu, too, which I believe they share the kitchen with PKWY. I ordered the carpaccio for the table. The old fashioned was realllll good. Pretty darn strong, too, just the way I like my old fashioneds haha. The carpaccio was DELISH! Came with a really tasty sauce on top and bread to eat it with, as well. I was shocked on how tasty it was honestly. I definitely would eat it again for sure! Definitely a cool bar to grab a drink at. Love their patio area. When the weather gets a little nicer, might come here to grab a drink and work out there or just enjoy some sunshine! Definitely will be back.

Yelp
We ate at the Oak Room on 1/15/25 for lunch. To start out with, they were out of bread. I can see that may happen at the end of the day, but for lunch on a Wednesday? So, I was not able to get my first choice of a chicken pannini sandwich. I ordered the chicken linguini. The chicken cutlets were dry, and the linguini was butter laden but tasteless. It cried out for salt. I opted not to eat it because the calories were not justified by the lack of flavor. After the meal, my stomach was upset so I decided to throw away the leftovers. When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress did not give me my change, I had to ask for it. I will not be returning.

Yelp
I came in this morning due to needing a nice spicy Bloody Mary as a hair of the dog type drink, and I must say the ambience is nice they have pool tables and a cool dark atmosphere but my main thing I took from coming here was their bartender, who I must say was amazing, Darby was very personable, gorgeous and a great help. I recommend coming here for her great attitude, good to look at lol and the machines and drinks.

Yelp
Kim was amazing best Green Tea Shots in the District. She was very personable & friendly. Will definitely be back for our ladies night out.

Yelp
THE BAND WAS AMAZING I wish I could say the same for the rest of the place They have 2 ppl for the entire bar I was surprised that there was 20 ppl in the entire place and we brought 10 of them It's just an average Irish bar Nothing special BUT THE BAND The guy they had playing (Patrick Mahoney) should have attracted many more people So I guess I wonder what's wrong with the place I would come back for the the band and nothing else
google avatar

Marjorie W.

Yelp
OMG! Was heading to REI for shoes and stumbled on this place. Kim the day bartender was awesome and loved the espresso martini! Food was great, enjoyed the crispy shrimp chicken panini. Will definitely be back and see they are now open 24 hours

Yelp
Nice little Irish Pub. Golden Knights friendly and will have the sound on for the game. Only downside is the menu doesn't have any Irish fare. The place uses the same menu as PKWY tavern which is located next door.

Julien D.

Yelp
Came to check out the new revamp and liked it a lot. The server was great and super friendly, the atmosphere was nice. And they had the VGK on, so it was a solid start. My biggest gripe is that they do not have a whiskey/bourbon menu. Please add a menu for all the drinks you have on the wall. Everyone would appreciate it ha. And add prices to it please lol
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
Any changes to the chicken fingers? Going back to the original would be great as the new method is terrible. You used to have the best tenders in town.

Suzan H.

Yelp
Certainly not my favorite. Food is okay. Charge extra for everything including ranch or tartar sauce. On an up note the ketchup was n/c. Got our order wrong on one sandwich 2x's . By the third the rest of us were done for long time . The manager thinks they did us a favor by discounting the one error by 20%. In my view the sandwich should have been comped. Won't be back for sure!

Yelp
Bartender and service.. 5 Music from the 80s (and no bar tender ability to accommodate the guests without getting in trouble 0 (managers, your music taste is terrible!) Food... it goes back and forth... they killed favs like the ahi salad :( Tonight, the chef did a Buffalo quesadilla that hit :) (Thank you chef! 5!). Still feel like I get to know staff, then they're moved/fired. (Corporate...) Maybe the problem isn't the faces we see... Just saying :/

Yelp
Great place to stop by for Drinks and Snacks! Love the Outside Seating. Great for People Watching and catching up with Friends. Bartenders like Darby and manager Jen always attentive and welcoming. Only thing missing are the TVs that were there previously. Everyone loved being able to enjoy sports games on them and Live Events. Please bring them Back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Went to a retirement party, it's a fun little Irish bar. They did not shut down the bar and there was plenty of indoor /outdoor space for a group of 50. We had a great time, service was great . They set up a nacho bar, it was fantastic!

Nina M.

Yelp
It's a great bar! Love the location and the live weekend music. The bar has a great style. Really feels like a PUB!

Michele D.

Yelp
Great service. Our server was friendly. Food and drinks were great. The fish and chips had good batter to fish proportions and the burger was amazing. Loved it all. High recommend. We will be back!

Casey C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, and attentive bartenders. Great for parties or any other kind of gatherings.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
I used to go to this location when it was Al's Garage. There was a good SPORTS PUB menu and a variety of rock music playing. Al's garage was always busy. When I go to Ritchie McNeelys IRISH PUB I'm disappointed. Poor selection of food and ROCK music. Nothing says IRISH PUB! Inside decor is nicely done but the outside patio dusty old fake flowers do nothing for atmosphere.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
I love this place Darby and Monica we're both Fantastic. The food was good. And the place was extremely clean. Nice quiet atmosphere. Service was great. We will absolutely be back when we are in town.

Brian S.

Yelp
Bartenders do not know how to pour guinness. Unfortunately this is all too common in local bars, but Ritchie McNeely's is supposed to be an Irish bar.
google avatar

Joyce T.

Yelp
Saturdays r o'haven hoven! D'arby and the little people play here every Saturday. Super fun Irish inspired band

Steven A.

Yelp
Went here for lunch because the sign said they open at 11. The lights were on, but no one was home and the door was locked. Went to Balboa Pizza instead and had our usual great experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is your average Irish-themed sports bar. It was clean, and the staff made my drinks quickly. The reason for the low rating is because of the policy of being charged extra to hold the ice in my drink. I drink my whiskey neat. Every other bar does this as a single shot, no ice. When I closed out, I noticed they charged me $4 for ordering it neat. I talked to our server and she told me that it's really a double shot. The drinks I received did not look like doubles. If I did receive three doubles, someone would have had to carry me out! I asked to speak to the manager since our server didn't say a neat shot would be a double. The bartender came over to tell me the manager had left for the night and the best he could do was give me a free drink. I misunderstood this as getting a drink comped, which was an ok consolation. Unfortunately, I was just given another neat shot (still didn't look or feel like a double). There's only so much the staff can do. I can't fault them for this when clearly this is a dumb policy pushed down by the company. So I just cut my losses, paid the tab, and vowed never to go back again.

Yelp
Service was medicore. 1 star for the supply of TP on floor next to garbage can in women's restroom. I am sure that's not health stand compliant. So Gross! Seriously who thinks this is ok?

A Z.

Yelp
Would not recommend selection has gone down hill and bartenders could be better new girl was amazing the trainer was sub par
google avatar

Scharla H.

Yelp
Literally zero service. We left because we couldn't get anyone's attention. I found the pictures of the Queen offensive. Absolutely no reason to try this place again.
google avatar

Philip T.

Yelp
Server was cool and place had an Irish bar feel, but the food was terrible. Our corned beef egg roll app had literally no corned beef in it, and the the Prime Rib French Dip sandwich was like chewy rubber. Will not return for anything more than a Guinness. No wonder nobody else was eating there. Not sure how this place survives.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
Love this place! I always feel so cherished anytime I walk in the door. Atmosphere, cleanliness and decor are great and there's nothing like putting your foot in the door and being addressed by name and warmly welcomed, no matter who is on shift. Even if they are busy...which is often...the staff makes sure to take care of you as if you are the only patron. Highly recommend if you like being treated well plus the food, even the French fries, are great. Color me well earned loyal.
google avatar

Allison R.

Yelp
Cute spot. A variety of Irish music playing in the background, from Irish folk music to Irish punk rock! Their version of a Moscow mule was VERY good, even got my friend hooked on them! The irish nachos and the wings were very tasty. They do have live music on Friday out front but they stopped playing super early which was disappointing. It's a great place to go with a big or small group!

Allante L.

Yelp
Bar area was very clean and well taken care of. It's a great place to watch your favorite game and hangout with your friends. I ordered a Whiskey Sour with Jameson as the liquor. The drink was good and the bartender was nice and friendly. Overall, good drink and good spot! Would recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
I dont single star a lot Played machines max bet for 30mins straight and didnt get offered any kind of attention or service
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Awesome little Irish bar! My cocktail was so delicious, and service was prompt and polite. I'd have to try the food to give it a full five stars, but for a quick little pop in before dinner elsewhere, I really enjoyed my visit! I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Under the ownership of PKWY Taverns (unfortunately), Ritchie McNeely's (who also shares the same menu as PKWY next door) replaced the macabre and whimsical Due and Proper. No longer do weird and intriguing paintings adorn the wall, instead replace by a plethora of different Guinness advertisements and their signature toucan. I loved the old paintings and could easily stare at them all night and although the changes aren't bad, and in general fit the space well, something was lost in getting rid of them. With that said, the bar was redesigned rather nicely and simply with dark wood stocked high with bottles. Irish punk music blares loudly (always a good thing in my opinion) although it really only seemed to consist of the music of three bands. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere overall remains the same. It is still a good spot to hang out in a semi-dimly lit booth and throw a few back. I must point out though, and this may be just a one-off experience, but the drinks I had were terrible and far too expensive for what they were. The first drink, which was one of their craft cocktails, a mint chocolate martini, consisted of Godiva chocolate liqueur, vodka, and mint (which I would assume is creme de menthe). Let me tell you, this cocktail tasted nothing like any of those ingredients. The color wasn't even correct for what ingredients were in there. I don't know if it was watered down or just made improperly but it was bad. The second cocktail was a simple vodka, cranberry, and lime, and although not bad, it wasn't good either. It was like the proportions were off. I'm sure if I would've ordered a beer, I would have a different opinion of the bar as they don't have to do anything but until I try other cocktails, this review has to stay at two stars. Like I said previously, I still love the atmosphere and I did have a good time but a bar should know how to make simple cocktails, especially if they are on their own menu.
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
The only reason this place is getting a low rating today is because of the service. I had to ask the same questions multiple times, despite it not being busy and warranting below average service. Everything seems disorganized and the staff isn't on the same page. There also appears to be no attention to detail or knowledge of the overall food and beverage menus by both bartenders and a servers. It's still a relatively young place so maybe they can turn it around.
google avatar

Sierra R.

Yelp
The original plan was to watch the football game at PKWY but it was packed (holiday event I guess) so we went next door to Ritchie McNeely's. There was plenty of seating at the bar and tables inside the restaurant. Tons of tv lined the wall of the bar so it actually turned out to be a great spot for football. The bartender was friendly and had a lot riding on the game for his fantasy football team so we talked quite a bit. The drinks were priced regularly, not crazy cheap or dumb expensive. I believe I saw corn hole outside on the patio area and it's in GVR so there is quite a bit you can do in that area once you leave the bar. It also looks really pretty lit up in Christmas lights this time of year! As far as an Irish pub though, either I'm completely oblivious or it just seemed like a regular bar that happened to have an Irish name.
google avatar

Anthony E.

Yelp
Other than my own, they have the best tasting chicken wings to date! I use to go to another place for Chicken Wings for their special sauce and they stopped serving them. I have found a new spot now! The sweet tasting chicken wings are great!

Richard A.

Yelp
Don't waste your time coming here for St. Patrick's Day. At least, don't sit outside. They're grossly understaffed. The couple next to us waited 15 minutes and left due to lack of service. I had to flag down a waiter to order because no one bothered to come to our table. They went to other tables around us, but not ours until I Flagged them down. The food came out quickly and was good, but then the waiter disappeared with our second round of beer.

Ruben V.

Yelp
I went to Ritchie McNeely's last Sunday just to check it out with my girl, as I've always seen it down at the district but never been in. The bar had really great atmosphere and the food was great. We had the Irish nachos which were delicious, the drinks were amazing. I had the New York sour which I recommend. But the best part was the bartender Kurt. He had such a great energy and was super nice and genuinely seemed happy to be working there. As someone who works in the industry, I will be back there just to hang out with Kurt.

Anita Y.

Yelp
Love the Happy Hour on the Patio! Our favorite place - fish and chips and salad and $3 wine is excellent! Waiters are fun and friendly
google avatar

John-Doe P.

Yelp
As far as an Irish pub is concerned they had a good pint of Guinness that's all I can really common time comment on. The clueless bar staff were very nice all the same I would've preferred if there was an Irish fella back there with a big smile. He just goes to show that down in Green Valley Ranch right to many Irish pubs in this one seem to suit is just fine set an a very picturesque area of Las Vegas recommended
google avatar

Troy T.

Yelp
Been to a lot of Irish bars, both in Ireland and Vegas - they play Irish music and usually smell like malt vinegar. This place reeks of cigarette smoke and was dead quiet on a Saturday night. Guess this explains why there were only three people in it. Walked in, looked around, walked out. No thanks. Going to take more than luck for this place to survive.
google avatar

Reilly N.

Yelp
Edward and Dan really know how to make a Monday night feel like a Saturday night am i riiiight? Check this place out the bartenders are so accommodating & the chicken wings are so good!! Btw this is not a smokey bar (which is my fav part)
google avatar

Nayelee V.

Yelp
Brandy. Like the liquor. One word... Fantastical. Brandy was an amazing tender of bar. She greeted us with a smile, a pleasant attitude, Irish coffees, breakfast, Guinness & VGK shots. She took care of us like we were family and that's the best service you can ask for. We will definitely return!

Vince T.

Yelp
Good drinks, good apps. Definitely choose this one over parkway next door. Darker and more fun in my opinion BEST NAPKINS EVER

Yelp
Went here on St Patrick's day and really didn't have a great experience. Bartender wouldn't even look up to wait on anyone. Seemed that she was more concerned talking and laughing with people she knew than helping customers. It is a shame because the environment is cool and the location was great.
