Ritual was a great experience and even better restaurant. I found this spot by luck scrolling on TikTok prior to my trip to Ghana and knew I had to make it over before my trips end. Plus it’s Ghanaian owned which just made it 10x better for me.
Atmosphere (5 Stars): The decor is amazing and transports you into an entirely different world. The music was perfect. It’s a listening bar, but I was able to speak to those around me without losing my voice to get my points across.
Service (5 Stars): I suck at names , but our server was extremely attentive and all around helpful. He did forget to add my sisters order in, but quickly corrected it & her food came out fast. I was able to speak to the owner and she was extremely kind and down to earth as well.
Food (5 Stars): The food was great. So good I forgot to get pictures. I had the pancakes and I had no complaints. It’s hard to make a bad pancake, but also hard to make a great one, and Ritual exceeded my expectations. One of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The right amount of fluffiness and sweetness. I also had the Milo Martini, which blew my mind as a Ghanaian American who never thought that was possible. It was so good I got a second one. Think espresso martini, but with breakfast tea instead of coffee.
I had a great time and I can’t wait to go back. If you have a chance to support make sure you come out!
